This experience was wonderful despite the weather. Most notable was the attention to detail provided by my tour contact Julio Cesar. From making tour arrangements and additional transfers to and from the airport, Julio Cesar proved some tour guides still care about their clients. The trip to Machu Picchu aboard the train was very smooth and very comfortable. The guide at Machu Picchu too was very knowledgeable and made certain we saw the entire site. Thank you Elvis Tours for this tour and a huge Thank you for the impeccable service provided by Julio Cesar making it a wonderful time spent. I cannot recommend this tour higher that 5 stars or I certainly would.

It will be a long day, make sure you bring snacks as our itinerary didn't give us time to stop for breakfast or lunch. You will not know what circuit you will be doing until you get the tickets sent to you on that day. We got circuit 1 which is just the view from above. Circuit 2 is a must so make sure you book months in advance to get circuit 2. We only booked this tour as we left it too late to get the tickets we wanted. Taxi pick up from accommodation in Cousco, short drive to Peru Rail station then a bus from there to Cousco station for a 3Hrs train journey to Aguas Calientes. The train was comfortable and the views great. Met at Aguas Calientes train station exit, rushed up the hill to reach the end of the bus line. All tickets send to me via WhatsApp. Was given the name of our tour guide Cesar who will meet us at Machu Picchu. On arrival at Machu Picchu another quide informed us that our guide will be 30 minutes late. This was a concern as I was worried we would miss our return train journey. Our guide did eventually arrive and made up for his later arrival by getting us onto circuit 2 which was so great as you get to see everything. Our guide had good English and explained fully about the history of Machu Picchu. Luck for us the weather was clear so we got some amazing photos. An hour later the rain arrived with mist and clouds, felt sorry for the people after us a you would not be able to see much. Make sure you bring good rain gear, you will have a long wait in the rain for your return bus journey. We just made it for our train journey back to Cousco. You were given no time in the itinerary to stop for lunch or explore Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu was beautiful and I have absolutely enjoyed it. I did not like Viatot as couple days before the trip I received a note from a stranger asking to change my arrival as he could not get us tickets to Machu Picchu. It turned out the person was local travel agent. I called Viator but it did nothing, only the lip service and told me to work it out with the local travel agent. I would not recommend Viator. I had to incur additional cost to rebook my flight and hotel plus some cancellation fees for the hotel initially booked.
Upon arrival to Cusco I could not find driver but after contacting the local travel agent we eventually met up. The day of your the guide did not show up in time and I had to call the agent again. I learnt that the operation was layers of outsourcing so once thing does not go smoothly it takes time and could get frustrating as they keep pointing fingers.

Sun hat, sun block and comfy shoes, I had a very knowledgeable guide which he explained about Mach Picchu & he also assisted in taking pictures, thank you.

Firstly, Machu Picchu is as glorious as I imagined it to be. The views to get there are also breathtaking. What made the tour even more special was the care of both the Cusco-based operator and the local guide (Cesar) who made sure everything went smoothly for our group, and made sure we maximized the time we spent there. Cesar was very knowledgeable and was very mindful of time, making sure I made it back in time for lunch and my train, while indulging all our questions and not rushing us. Definitely recommend.

We initially booked our Machu Picchu trip with Elvis Tours / Cosmo Expeditions, not realizing that Machu Picchu tickets needed to be booked well in advance. I had already booked non-refundable flights for myself and my wife from June 19–29 when I discovered that tickets for Machu Picchu were unavailable for our selected tour date.
Panic set in, but Denis from Cosmo Expeditions quickly stepped in and saved our trip. Within just a few hours, he found us tickets for Machu Picchu on the 28th and completely restructured our itinerary to ensure we could still make our return flight on time. He even arranged unforgettable experiences like the Rainbow Mountain ATV tour and the Sacred Valley tour, both with knowledgeable and friendly guides.
Denis personally made sure everything went smoothly and truly went above and beyond to give us a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Peru. From the thrill of riding ATVs to the stunning beauty of Machu Picchu, every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed.
If you’re looking for an authentic and well-organized adventure in Peru, I can’t recommend Cosmo Expeditions and Denis enough!

Great views of Machu Picchu, but for the money I’d say it was very unorganized. First, the pickup is late. Then when we get to the town near Machu Picchu, our tour guide is rushing us because we missed our bus. Then, we were told we could upgrade the train for a fee, which I denied but was upgraded anyway. I had to sit in a coffee shop for 3 hours waiting on the next available train. The tickets were sent the day of and some of the people in my tour didn’t even have their tickets. I felt like I had to be them to tell me information about the tour I paid so much money for. Save your money and book with a local company or do it yourself. Overall would not recommend this tour.

Thanks to Cesar’s guidance, I was able to fully enjoy Machu Picchu for the whole day.
In the morning, when the view of Machu Picchu was obscured by fog, he guided me to many other interesting places.
And once the view cleared, he kindly took many photos for me.
I’m really glad I had Cesar as my guide!

The transfer to Aguas Calientes is uneventful but we were a bit stressed because we are late getting to the entrance to Machu Pichu. The guide was informative about the history of the place. We did Circuit 1 which has a very nice view but I would prefer getting in the ruins. We are back in Cuzco before nightfall which is all good.
I would not recommend a day trip to Machu Pichu since they won't allow you to explore all the 3 circuits, so 2 days would be good I think. Also a suggestion to the organizer that they should give an option which circuit the client would prefer. Like for me, I would've chosen circuit 2 but since I have limited time in Cuzco, I have to make do of what they provided.

Our guide Caesar was so helpful and informative. I was the slowest in the group and everyone was kind. The train ride was spectacular, Agua Calientes was a great stopover, and Machu Picchu was overwhelming and its story so poignant.

Excellent tour! Getting there is the hard part, but once you finally get to Machu Picchu, it’s unbelievable. I have been to 20 countries and this has been the best most unforgettable adventure in my lifetime. I could almost cry seeing this beautiful ancient city up in the clouds.

My friend and I had dreams of visiting Machu Picchu, but didn’t have any idea how much advance planning needed to happen to make it a smooth trip. We booked last minute and learned that tickets to Machu Picchu were all sold out! Dennis and his team swooped in to help save the day! The guides were kind, professional, and accommodating! They helped us to secure tickets to Machu Picchu so we wouldn’t have to reschedule our trip or stay longer than planned. The guides met us at the train station, stood in line with us to help secure our tickets, and even went back with us to help pick them up. This group was very good with communication, addressed all of our questions/concerns and made us feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of, and it was! I really can’t say enough positive things about this experience!
I was very much under the weather, and Dennis offered to have one of the guides take me to a pharmacy to get medication for the altitude sickness. I would recommend this tour with this group 100 times over! This was definitely the experience of a lifetime!

Espero voltar. Gracias!
