Superb your

It was worry free!! We were picked up at the airport, transferred to our hotel in Cusco. After that, the tours and the guides were excellent - Alexandra, Manuel, Hector and finally Paul in Machu Picchu!! Vipac was so organized with their handoffs and everything went off like clockwork. Our accommodations also were very good in Cusco and the Sacred Valley (Urubamba). Their communications were timely and we felt informed at every step of the way as they stewarded us through the experience. 5 stars! Highly recommend!!

Awesome Trip

We had a fantastic honeymoon doing this trip in Peru. We had 3 different guides over the course of the trip (which is really 5 days and 5 nights of touring, the 6th day there are no activities), starting with Mario for the first 2 days in and around Cusco, then Jose Maria for the next 2 days around Sacred Valley, and then Paul for the final day at Machu Picchu. Each of the guides was great and spoke in both Spanish and English. We particularly enjoyed Jose Maria's guidance of our Sacred Valley tour. Jose's knowledge and excitement about the tours were wonderful. There are so many beautiful sights to see around this whole area, and the days were full and felt very satisfying. Note: We didn't get a whole lot of time at Machu Picchu, around 2 hours in total. We knew since we booked fairly last minute that the time would be short, and we would have liked a longer time there, but it was all so magical we still really enjoyed ourselves.

A well-run, super memorable tour that offered great value for the cost

I traveled with three other family members and everyone in our group was delighted with nearly everything about our trip. We all felt well taken care of and attended to. There was a great balance between planned activities and free time to rest or explore on our own. Based on my prior experience with another company on a tour in Peru, this tour provided us great value for the cost as well. Our accommodations and the meals included in the tour exceeded my expectations given my prior experience. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and super personable. The private transportation from pick up at the airport to our return along with the private transportation on our tours was clean and comfortable. Our tour coordinators and guides were readily available to answer our questions and solve any issue that arose. At two points during one part of the trip there was some confusion/mix ups with train and admission tickets, but the ViPac tour representatives worked with and for us to solve the issues quickly and to our satisfaction in a totally professional manner. What could have been better was the communication with us prior to our trip. I found messaging through Viator frustrating at times because I wasn't confident the tour operator had received my enquiries. The communication I had with the tour operator prior to the trip was somewhat vague and I had to put a lot of faith in the idea that someone would indeed meet us at the airport and the tour would happen. It turns out any fear I had ahead of time was unfounded. It also would have been helpful to have a better understanding of what to expect in terms of how the trip would operate. An example of this is that mid-way through the trip we were told that we would not be able to take large suitcases with us for a segment of the trip, that large suitcases needed to be left at the hotel and we were to only take what we needed for the next 2 nights and days. Fortunately, we had a variety of travel bags between the people in our group and could reorganize our essentials. A lot could be avoided through more thorough descriptions on the website and possibly a packing list or recommendation on the types of bags to bring. That being said, now that I have taken a trip with Vipac through Viator, I would definitely use them again for my next trip to Peru.
