Please wait at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Look out for a DaneriYachts Logo on the front window of the bus. Please note that the transfer cannot wait. If you are not at the pick-up point on time, you will be responsible for arranging your own transport to the port at your own expense. Occasionally, the transfer may be delayed by 10–15 minutes, so please be patient and wait at the meeting point during this time.

Please arrive for boarding 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Our crew member, wearing a DanEri t-shirt, will meet you at the tables of the Marina Café (on the side facing the sea and boats). There is a municipal parking area available at the Marina, with a fee of approximately 5 EUR per day.

The small group was nice, there is enough space for everyone. We got a got a drink once we got on board, throughout our time the staff was always accommodating for all the soft drinks we wanted and they we also very friendly. Once we got to beach we were given the option of wine and beer. Once we arrived back to port we were given a final shot. This experience was well worth the money and would highly recommended.

Fun thing to do on an evening

We didnt know if our trip would be cancelled due to the weather but the wind was apparently perfect sailing conditions. It was a fun and exciting ride as the sea was quite choppy. There were a few nice snacks and a good supply of drinks on our trip. We had a nice little swim stop for an hour or so then sailed back in the Sunset. The staff were reassuring to my girlfriend who was scared of the rough ride through the waves! Overall an enjoyable trip and nice to fill an evening.

Relaxing Way to Watch the Sunset in Crete

Unlike a lot of boat tours that are too overcrowded to let you enjoy yourself, this tour had the perfect amount of people for the space and a crew that was highly attentive to your wants and needs. The views were beautiful and the water was clean and clear. It was a relaxing way to spend an evening in Crete.

I'm on a Boat

No vacation is complete without getting on a boat at least once. Our scheduled sailing cruise had to be postponed one day due to inclement weather, but this was no problem for us. The folks at DanEri Yachts were easy to work with and communicated clearly. We had no problem meeting up on the port side of the Marina Café in Heraklion for our sunset cruise. The hosts were polite and gracious with drinks (juice, wine, etc.) and a spread of snacks (fresh fruit, chicken nuggets, cheese, breadsticks, charcuterie, etc.). The sunset cruise took us out to a cove in the southwest corner of the uninhabited isle of Dia - which when viewed from Heraklion resembles a lizard or sleeping dragon. There we were given around 30 minutes or so to swim or snorkel. We opted to just dip our feet in the water, as it was still too cold for us to comfortably swim in, though another traveler decided to brave it anyway. We returned to the port just as the sun was setting - perfect timing! I highly recommend this cruise for those looking for an evening activity in Heraklion.

Intimate trip, great swimming location and amazing crew.

Amazing crew, amazing location, great fun. This is a trip not to be missed. Intimate and friendly, sailing to an amazing swim location. George was a great host, telling us the history of the isalnds as we sailed to upbeat music. WE were provided with local food as well as soft drinks and if wanted, beer. We were provided with all we needed to have a great hour swimming in the crystal clear waters before sailing home as the sun set. The trip is very popular and as it only takes 10 people, you need to book this one up very quickly.

Not worth the money

My family and I recently went on this sunset cruise while away in Crete. Firstly one member of another family travelling with us was offered a drink before we set sail, yet nobody else was offered one. When we arrived at the point where you can swim and snorkel one drink was offered to everyone on board. When the snacks were brought out (which were very nice) we were plagued with wasps! Nobody mentioned this before we arrived at the island in which we were able to swim etc. It really did ruin the trip. On our way back to Heraklion I asked for another drink and was given the smallest glass of water and no other drinks were forthcoming. We paid £220 for 3 of us which isn't cheap, but we were lead to believe wine, raki, beer, was on offer but they were very shy with the drinks! Not worth the money. Disappointing

On a passé une excellente soirée. Les guides et personnels à bord était à l’image du soleil qu’affichait le paysage, très chaleureux et surtout à l’écoute. Un couché du soleil à couper le souffle. Simplement EXCELLENT et À REFAIRE!
