Felipe was amazing and let us pick which order we wanted to do the tour. We were a group of girls in our early 20s, so safety wasn't a big concern, but we felt so safe and learned about Cozumel while visiting amazing things. Water was given out, and he took pictures for us. When some of us started falling behind, he stopped and went back to make sure we were good. It was fun; we got to see an iguana, a lemur, and hummingbirds. I would advise drinking water the day before because we were severely dehydrated and went through like two bottles each.
Great experience.. book early slot we got a private tour!!!! Excellent guide.. we had so much fun.., chulas beach club was crowded but they were so nice to us!
We did the ATV excursion in Cozumel and it was a blast from start to finish. Our guide was incredible – very attentive, safety-conscious, and made sure our kids felt comfortable driving riding along. The trail took us through beautiful jungle scenery, the kids absolutely loved. We also stopped for a beach break. Highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking for adventure with a family-friendly touch. 5 stars!

Super fun tour! Our tour guide Cesar stated he had only worked with the company for 4 weeks but he was amazing! Great attitude and great facts about the history of the island! We were too scared to jump into the cenote, but the water is clear! The atv riding was amazing! The tequila tasting was great, but you need to have a checked bag to bring any back. So sadly we couldn’t buy, if not we would have!

The tourist sounded great on paper. A lot of the rules were changed when we got there. They told us we booked a short tour. We had a pay extra to stay longer. We had to pay extra so we could all be on four wheelers. Everybody showed up to receive a tip, including the maintenance guy for the four wheelers. Felt like a big money grab, but they were friendly.
I called Viator after we got back, but the non-English speaking rep had no clue what I was even talking about.

As the owner of this company, I'm struck by your statement that you were recommended to take a short tour. Who recommended this to you? Furthermore, I find it odd that you mentioned having to pay extra for the motorbikes when your tour includes them. What you paid for was the park entrance fee, which is clearly stated in the tour description, as it's a fee for entering the park, which is managed by the government.
I also find it an exaggeration that you mentioned the maintenance staff expected a tip. I will personally investigate this matter and will have to dismiss several people if it turns out they pressured you for tips, as this is not company policy. Finally, I find it strange that you called Viator and they didn't speak English when the company's primary language is English.

Reyes was the best. Great customer service.The actual ATVs on the other hand could use some work. One pulled to the right the entire time. They could cut out the tequila and chocolate tasting and add more ride time. Wish there had been mud but they couldn't control that. Overall a great excursion.

We booked on the app for this are excursion to which my husband accidentally booked the wrong date we needed it for Friday not Wednesday. My husband called customer service whom were NOT willing to help us in anyway, shape or form. They told us too bad we lost $250 and they won’t move our excursion to Friday. So my husband contacted the tour guide who was more than helpful and said he’d still take us on Friday. When we showed up to Cozumel from our cruise we went meet up with the tour guide only to be told we were NOT on the list for the tour and to contact customer service which we did previously and again the day of. To no surprise they basically told us TO BAD, YOUR MESS UP IS OUR GAIN. They refused to refund any money and told us if we want to go on the atv excursion to rebook and repay. Absolutely a scam, horrible customer service. DO NOT BOOK EXCURSIONS ONLINE OR ON THE SHIP. WAIT UNTIL YOU GET OFF THE SHIP AND BOOK YOUR EXCURSIONS IN PERSON AT THE PORT. We learned this the hard way.

Initially, the tour operator was accommodating and allowed us to change our tour date and time, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated significantly on the day of the tour.
We arrived at the cruise port at 9:15 a.m. for our scheduled 9:30 a.m. pickup, but were left waiting until 10:45 a.m. while the company attempted to locate passengers from a later tour who ultimately never showed up. After that, we made two additional pickup stops before finally heading to the ATV location, further delaying the experience.
Once we arrived, our guide, Issac, provided little to no instruction on how to safely operate the ATVs. The actual ride to the grotto was very short, and we estimate that we had only about 20 to 30 minutes of driving time. The grotto itself was underwhelming and did not meet expectations based on how the tour was advertised.
At the conclusion of the tour, we were unexpectedly told that we owed an additional $30 fee, despite having already prepaid and received confirmation of our booking. During this interaction, Issac made a racially inappropriate remark toward my friend and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. The situation escalated to the point where we felt compelled to contact the police. Only after that did the staff allow us to leave.
Overall, this experience was stressful, unprofessional, and not at all how we wanted to spend our vacation. I would not recommend this operator based on our experience.

As the owner of the company, I am aware of what happened with your tour and we immediately reported your unacceptable behavior to Viator. You refused to pay the $15 USD fee, which is clearly stated in both your reservation and the tour description. Our reservations department assisted you with your repeated changes to dates and times, as you are clearly an inexperienced traveler.
I have evidence that you were threatening to my staff, that you tried to leave the premises to avoid the aforementioned payment in a taxi (which you were removed), and that you forced your way into one of our vehicles without authorization, pushing our customers. You then got out of that vehicle and ran to another beach with your partner to avoid paying the fee, which is a payment to the government that manages the park where you conducted and completed your activity.
In short, it's unbelievable what someone will do to avoid paying $15, and not only that, but try to discredit a company that has been supported from the beginning through your constant changes, given your obvious inexperience as a traveler.
I generally apologize to our clients when their tour hasn't met their expectations, but on this occasion, I simply wish that no other service provider ever have to have you as a client. Talking about the integrity of my staff or my company is nothing more than a justification for your rude behavior.

This ATV tour was hands down one of the best experiences we had in Cozumel. Riding through the jungle was an absolute blast, mud, adventure, and nonstop fun from start to finish. The trails were exciting without feeling rushed, and the scenery was beautiful.
Gizmo made the entire experience next level. He was knowledgeable, hilarious, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe while still keeping the energy high. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in how much fun the group had. The tequila tasting at the end was the perfect way to wrap it all up. We got to try a great variety of tequilas, and it never felt like a sales pitch, just a fun. If you’re in Cozumel and want a great day experience, book this tour and ask for Gizmo.

Amazing experience we had gizmo as our tour guide 10/10 experience and the beach club was nice too! The tequila tasting also a 10/10 don’t let the bad reviews stir you away it was an amazing time and we got back to our port two hours before departure.

Booked our excursion a few weeks in advance for 9am but the company thought we were meeting at 10 so no transportation available. They were surprised to see our tickets actually did say 9:00am! When our tour guide finally arrived, the company sent him (and us) a few blocks away to a back parking lot to search for an available vehicle in a bone yard of old vehicles. We wandered around for awhile while he was on the phone trying to sort out which vehicle was the one they wanted him to use. We finally found it, a Jeep Commander (Cherokee) and the 7 of us piled in. It was in the absolute worst state of repair: needed a complete front end replacement, clunked and rattled over every pebble, had a fully broken windshield, no working seatbelts, broken vents and was filthy like it was just pulled out of an old abandoned barn. It even stopped working a few times as we drove then kicked back in. Our guide was lovely (Jojo), super personable and knowledgable about the area and expectations about the day. We arrived at the ATV location and were told we all had to share ATV's (our group of 6 had 5 licensed drivers but they wanted us all to share anyways). We managed to get them to give us one additional one which I was thankful for in case there were any mechanical problems. The ATV's were super fun to drive, though the condition of them was not great. I was both thankful and surprised that we didn't have any breakdowns along the way. The jade cavern was super fun, my teens loved it. Then on to the tiny town where we shopped for black coral jewelry. We then rode to another building where the Tequila tasting was. As we pulled into the parking lot, our crappy jeep appeared at the same time and after an awkward moment between the jeep driver and our guide, he told us that was the end of his time with us and we would be leaving the ATV's there. I was surprised to hear this was the end of the ATV journey as we didn't get to drive them back to the starting point. Our guide seemed equally surprised but assured us we were in good hands with another gentleman who did not speak english. We carried on with the tequila tasting which was both fun and informative. When we were done the tasting, our first guide reappeared and said he would pick us up at the beach location when we were ready, said to give him a text or call 10 min beforehand. So, we piled back into the jeep with the non-english speaking second guide who drove us in silence to the beach. This location was a fun surprise because we weren't expecting it to be as nice as it was. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so not the nicest beach weather. We swam in the ocean for about a half hour, then texted our first guide to come pick us up. Unfortunately, through a variety of issues, we had to wait for 1.50 hours in the torrential downpour for our first guide to return and pick us up. Had it not been so terrible weather-wise, this would have been much more tolerable. Unfortunately, our guide got into a car accident on the way to get us and ran out of power in his phone so he wasn't able to contact us further. BUT! He did eventually come back for us and got us back to the ship on time. Jojo was AWESOME! We really, really liked him and he tried his best. I think the main issue was this company itself. Somehow they had our start time incorrect and it threw off their entire day. Each stop felt rushed and awkward. They kept calling our guide to make adjustments. He would say things like, "Take your time and enjoy" and then was in a rush to leave. All in all we had a lot of fun, lots of laughs about the comedy of errors, but in the end I would book elsewhere next time. Hopefully other companies are more organized than this one, but if you do choose this company, hopefully you at least get Jojo as your guide.

For starters, they started our group very late, even though we arrived on time. The driver walked the entire group about 1/2 up the road from where we all had passed to get to the meeting spot! That was stupid….why not just have everyone meet at the take off location? Next, We paid for single rides but was forced to share the ATVs. Several of them were very unsafe. One of our friends lost a tire during the ride, a few of the ATVs has only one lug nut on the tire which was very unsafe. Although we paid the $15 to go to the cave, we were rushed because we started late and there was a ride scheduled after ours. The tour guide was very pleasant.

From the moment we were paired with our "guide", Brandon, the entire experience was extrememly rushed. We were told, when we checked in that we were waiting for other participants, so we waited about 10 minutes. Then after waiting we were told to go with Brandon...with no other participants joining us.
We were taken to a ranch and originally offered a "tour" about tequila and chocolate. We declined the tequila tour since I was with my child, but listened to a young man talk about chocolate and their local honey. The young man did a nice presentation but it seemed oddly placed and I assume it was just to sell their homey and chocolate.
Once we were done with the presentation, our guide Brandon had our ATV ready. We got a quick explanation about the ATV and then we were off on about a 10-15 minute ride to the cenote (along residential streets and some muddy trails). Once we arrived, our guide pointed at a path and told us we could follow it to the cenote. We were told we could swim in the cenote and that we had about 10-15 minutes at the location (clearly not enough time to swim or really explore the area). We got no tour, no explanation, no idea what we were looking at. Once we were done, we rode back to the starting point, 10-15 minutes away.
We were then driven to a local beach resort and given 1 hour to enjoy the facilities. About 40 minutes into our time at the beach club, Brandon found us on the beach to ask if we were ready to go. We asked for another 15 minutes and then found Brandon standing waiting for us. When told my son would change clothes before we left, Brandon said he would be waiting with the car. We found Brandon waiting at the car to take us back to the cruise port. He dropped us on the side of the road in a quick hurry, but not before asking for a selfie with us.
Brandon was nice and a safe driver but he barely spoke to us and only spoke when we asked a question. We got no "tour", just rushed a round.
The tour was billed as a 4-5 hour tour, but we got just over 2 hours, which included driving time to and from the ranch (about 10 minutes each way). I would NOT recommend the tour...we definitely didn't get what we paid for and the entire experience was rushed. I think the most enjoyable part of the experience was the young man's chocolate and honey presentation.

Worst transportation ever! Once we left the cruise terminal, we were told to walk to the Marti sport store, which was over a half a mile from the cruise terminal. We met our guides who took additional money for the Mayan Tavern, which from app was thought to be optional, however, it appeared we had to pay the $15 per person in order to go on the excursion. Then we had to walk another quarter mile or so back to a parking lot that appeared to be a junkyard where we waited for over 20 minutes for an additional vehicle to accommodate our party of 17 something the company was aware of long before we arrived for the excursion. One of the vehicles had no grill …exposed radiator, and worse had no air conditioning AND the windows wouldn’t open, which was completely unacceptable for 9 people to ride 20-25 minutes 77 degrees outside. In addition, our guide “Yoyo” had to actually hail a taxi to pick up the remainder of our group…horrible service!! Once we arrived at the ATV pick up location and started on our way two or three of the vehicles had unstable wheels, and one of them broke and fell off! Clearly not well maintained! As if all that wasn’t enough, we were dropped off at the last destination on our excursion, which was Chula’s Beach, and once we were done, the driver did not return to pick us up and take us back to the cruise terminal… we ended up having to take taxis again for 17 people, so we barely made it back to the terminal before our ship was scheduled to pull away from the port.
I really have now words to truly express know the disappointment, frustration and the embarrassment we felt during an after this experience (as some of us had used your company before, so we were praising you to some of our other friends who had not) associated with this tour. The one bright spot was Yoyo, he was friendly and knowledgeable! He made the best of the situation. He’s the reason for the three star rating instead of a zero.
All of this was completely less than adequate… did did not meet the baseline of acceptable service and you should be ashamed of yourself Viator!
And to be honest, to make it right, we should all be provided a refund.
We had a great experience on the ATV excursion and would absolutely recommend it.
Our tour guide, Jorge, was awesome. He was energetic, knowledgeable, and made the ride both fun and safe. He gave clear instructions, kept the group together, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the excursion. Jorge’s attitude and professionalism really elevated the experience.
We enjoyed the tequila and chocolate tasting, which was a fun and well-organized part of the tour. While a beach stop was included, we opted out of the beach experience and were perfectly happy with that choice. The excursion still felt complete and enjoyable without it.
There was some initial confusion regarding the location of the excursion. It was listed under a search in the viator app for Costa Maya tours, and we were able to book it, listing the meeting location as Costa Maya, even though the excursion itself is in Cozumel. We did not realize the issue until we were already in Costa Maya looking for the meeting spot. To their credit, the operator was very understanding and corrected the issue, which we truly appreciated.
Despite that hiccup, the overall experience was excellent, and the way the operator handled the situation speaks volumes about their customer service.
If you book this excursion, you are in good hands, and if you get Jorge as your guide, you are in for a great time. Highly recommended.

This tour was great. We ended up being the only ones, which made for a nice, small-group experience. The caves were amazing, and the tour included a tequila tasting and access to the beach, both of which were a lot of fun.

It was raining when we went ATV-ing, but it made it even more fun!
The tequila tasting was too long which took away from our beach time. We spent more time at the tasting than at the beach.
The tour guide was great!
They did not have another driver to take us to the ATVs so they asked someone in our group of 8 to drive in a separate vehicle with 4 people from our group, we were pulled over to the side of the road and questioned at a check point. That was scary!!
Chulas beach club was very nice..

Great adventure! Oscar was our driver to the jungle and led the group on ATVs…he was a lot of fun. The trail to the cavern and water hole is a perfect blend of challenging yet easy enough for beginners and length of tour is just right. My 13 year old granddaughter got to drive and had a wonderful day! Thank you Oscar!
This excursion is so fun and definitely worth the price!! We rode ATV through the jungle to a beautiful hidden gem of water. Then tequila tasting, delicious!! Ended the day at a beautiful resort with plenty for the kids to do. 100% recommend

Our tour guide was fantastic! However, the 4 wheelers are old and half of them broke down during our short ride. The towns that we went through had trash all over. Def. Not woth the money a

Unfortunately trash is a big issue as this ar public places with a lot of tourists who don´t care about leaving their trash behind. Every day we remove the trash from our groups but not every company does taht and also not everyone has the education and resposibility for taking car of their own garbage. Kids loved the ATV experience. We all got muddy from driving though the puddles. If you are an experience ATVer that likes hitting trails in the hills, you will not like this. The cenote was really cool. We did not jump in. Tequila / chocolate tasting we really liked. Of course they want you to buy it. But they were nice when we said no. Beach club was a great end to the day. Kids loved playing on blowups and open beach chairs to lounge in. Amazing day.

We had a great time in Cozumel- just not enough hours to hang out! Having so much fun we just made our boarding for our cruise boat!!! Claudio was a fabulous guide whose gift to showcase his beautiful culture and island came so effortlessly and easy. We had a great Mayan culture experience tasting tequila, honey and chocolate; rode in a pink mustang (bonus), drove ATVS , visited a cenote filled with wildlife like bats, turtles and fish — then we a topped it off with a fabulous stay @ the beach!

We did not like this experience the quads are very badly maintained my husband and break down and we had to wait 15 min for him to come and change then no visit to the Mayan village because not enough time and the beach chulas where we are drop off and catch tourists with drinks and overpriced food this experience and the worst done during our 3 days of stopover
