Great little hidden gem. All inclusive with awesome service and great snorkeling on site! Could have stayed in the water swimming with all kinds of colorful fish all day. Older kids and parents had a great day. Thank you Eric!

Spend your money somewhere else

We got a day pass while our ship was docked here. Nothing like the pictures. The people in the stands selling merchandise vultures who don’t take no for an answer. Shoreline is pretty rocky and the sand part is hard. Everything is outdoors, not able to go inside when you get over heated. Drinks and food were subpar and the bathrooms were gross. On the plus side our server Ariel was awesome and very attentive and they have kayaking and snorkel equipment for use.

Rocky beach

Beach is conveniently located about 10-15min from cruise port. All the staff there were very friendly. Our snorkel guide Angel was great. However, I would not go back there. The buffet was mediocre. The beach is bad. It’s extremely rocky. And when you enter the water from the designated platform there are boulders and sandbags you have to step on making for uneven, slippery ground. And if you’re looking for that pretty blue water, you won’t find it here.

I wouldn’t come back

Easy to get to but wasn’t really what we were expecting. $13 to rent a towel. The buffet was extremely basic with very few options. If you want to order from the menu be prepared to pay grossly overinflated prices. Drinks were also the most basic, cheapest drinks with only a limited selection to choose from. It’s a high tourist spot so expect to be surrounded by 100s of other tourists, squished in on their sun loungers like sardines (if you come early enough to get a sun lounger). The pros were the water activities. We were attended to by Angel who very much lived up to his name and made our experience much more enjoyable. That said, having been to much better beach clubs on the island, I would not return to this one.

I’m here now 9/1/25. Do not believe the pictures. Was told that that You have to go up to the bar to get your own drinks. Drinks horrible. Beer in small glasses margaritas are watered down and no tequila to add to it. Food was horrible. Nachos was the cheese you buy in the can and fajitas was just as bad. Tortillas were molded. I wanted a refund from the time I arrived but this was a last minute booking. Should have gone somewhere else.

This is my second time visiting Uvas Playas and I really enjoy the snorkeling and kayaking there. And, they have the most amazing grilled fish tacos, and yummy pina coladas. My only criticism was that the paperwork I received with my confirmation said they opened at 8am, but I had to wait well over 30 - 40 minutes until they were ready to take me, and then I felt like I was inconveniencing them because I got there "so early".

Great Snorkeling and Beach Club!

A group of 10 of us got the all-inclusive pass to the beach club and it was worth it. The wait staff/bartenders were very attentive and Jose Roberto provided an amazing snorkeling tour. We saw lots of fish and he would answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend visiting this beach club if visiting Cozumel.

This business kept my money despite denying us entry

Upon arrival, we were told the beach club was at capacity and to try back later in the afternoon as guests would begin leaving around that time. I told them we wouldn't be able to return later nor should we have to seeing as we prepaid. Regardless, we were told we'd have to wait until space opened up. We were subsequently forced to make alternate arrangements. I requested a refund from Viator, which they denied as the merchant claims they weren't at capacity that day. Stay far away from this "beach club".

All inclusive beach pleasure package

Viator is available at all the popular destinations to help you create lasting memories. We really enjoyed this stop in Cozumel because we decided to book an exclusion while cruising with Carnival. Of course, the price was less than half that of the cruise. We were able to customize the times booking our own taxi to and from port. Playa Uval was 2 miles away for less than 7 minutes drive. They had every beachy comfort and pleasure in this all inclusive package including: chairs, towels, food and drink, wait staff, snorkel gear, kayaks, pools, cabanas, restrooms, shopping, optional seafood, and paragliding. I had the good fortune of having a personal guide take me into the deep. They had tons of beautiful fish, rays, coral, and ocean views. Excellent experience, beautiful beach, kind staff, wonderful spot, with everything you could want in a tour.

The weather was crappy, but Cristian made our day very enjoyable!! He was so attentive and we had a large group, so he was consistently grabbing drinks and food (we did the all inclusive day pass). Food was good, one critique is the glasses were so tiny, so by the time we finished a round he was running for another. Overall though, great day- despite the weather. And again, Cristian was great!

Completely worth the money! Food was excellent, the drinks kept coming and the activities were free. Yes, the entry into the water is rocky but they have two areas for you to enter. Our waiter Eric was phenomenal!

My family had a very nice experience here. Our waitress was Normalita and she was spectacular. Checked on us constantly- making sure we had full food and drink at all times. We had the all inclusive package. Included a snorkel tour with Roberto - took me and my 3 kids out separately- away from what appeared to be a bus tour that had come in while we were there. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Kids (and I) enjoyed the day immensely. Highly recommend.
