Experience of a life time.. I was terrified .. I don’t swim or scuba dive. The staff were soooo good and guided me in. Once in the helmet and underwater it was easy. We went down 15 ft and feed fish and got to hold conch shells & sea cucumber. One of the most memorable experiences on Cozumel

AMAZING!. Joaquin and Jesus were very knowledgeable and helpful. They explained everything in advance and were always close to us. We saw a lot of fish and got to hold a starfish and a pufferfish. I highly recommend this experience.

What To Expect

Disembark your cruise ship and greet your guide at the shore of Cozumel’s shimmering Caribbean Sea. After an informative safety explanation, fit your mini-SUB gear and plunge into the iridescent waters of the ocean. A mini-SUB is a high-tech device that allows you to breathe normally underwater without the use of a mask or tube.

Follow your guide by driving your underwater scooter through the water, directing your gaze to magnificent marine life; observe parrotfish, manta rays, garden eels, and colorful corals as you glide through the sea. Marvel at the tropical tableau of fish before returning to the sandy shores to relax upon the blissful beach.

Conclude your submerged shore excursion with a refreshing juice or classic cocktail from a nearby restaurant (own expense) before making your own way back to your cruise ship port.

Worry-Free Shore Excursion: We will ensure your timely return to the Cozumel port for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. The staff was very friendly and made sure we felt safe in our experience. It was amazing to be underwater and interact with the fish and sea stars. My only wish would be that it lasted longer! Guess I need to learn to scuba now.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Don’t worry if you have a fear of going underwater, it’s safe, you are briefed well and the instructor is with you at all times. Seeing fish feeding off your hands is so good. At the location there are lockers. It’s $5 for the key and you leave a $30 refundable deposit. There’s a small beach with a bar serving food and drink and you can use this before and after with free loungers. You can also buy the pics and videos taken throughout the sub dive but no hard sell on that. One of the best things I’ve ever done. I’d definitely do it again

An amazing experience. Joaquin and Jesus were patient and engaging. I am a non-swimmer but they provided great instructions on how to get in and use the sub. I would highly recommend this excursion. If I am ever back in Cozumel I would definitely do this excursion again. The only hiccup is when getting the key for the lockers, make sure that you have $5 for the locker and $30 for a locker key deposit.

This was the craziest experience I ever had. Crazy in a good way. It was scary when I first got in, but after I took a few deep breaths it was amazing! The staff members were so nice and reassuring. My mom tried to back out, but the staff calmed her down and helped her relax while underwater. I’m glad they helped her out and she got to experience this. There were so many beautiful fish and sea creatures. We got to feed the fish while underwater. We held starfish, sea cucumbers, a conch, and even a baby stingray! This was the best experience ever! Do it! Btw yes you can still do it if you can’t swim!

This was a great experience. The guides were very considerate. We truly enjoyed the experience. I truly enjoyed holding a puffer fish. The pictures turned out great. The hotel was also accommodating, I was able to rent a locker to store our items and see had a wonderful lunch.

Seriously, book this excursion!

Maybe the best cruise excursion I’ve ever done. I tend to freak out on snorkel and really struggled with an intro scuba class one time, but I did this with no problems at all!! The instructor explained the process so well. Getting to the hotel in a cab was easy. The guide met us at the hotel entrance even though we were early. We rented a locker ($5 - fit 3 backpacks easy). We had access to a sand area with chairs and a natural pool before it was our turn. Afterwards we were able to use the hotel pool. I would recommend this to anyone! 3 people in our family completed the whole thing. Our daughter (13) couldn’t pop her ears and got dizzy from looking through the helmet, so she stopped early. The guides were so great to explain to all of us how to bail out early, so she just went back and enjoyed a hammock while waiting for us to finish. Even with that, I rate this 11/10!

I think it needs a lot more information on what you need to do.The staff doing the activity were very helpful not their fault but I couldn’t participate. This was so much fun and our kids loved it! The pictures are absolutely amazing!! We had a group of 5 and we had to be split into 3 and 2 so that was the only downside as we didn't each get the full 30 mins in the water and a photo of the 5 of us but it was still an amazing experience.

Overall, my husband and I loved the experience. It was safe and enjoyable. You are underwater for about 30 minutes and we got to see amazing things. The only disappointing thing was they did not explain they charge $70 USD for the photos/video and only accept cash. I tried to use the ATM in the hotel but it was not working. We don't have any memories of the experience. We tried to send the money after the excursion but they do not keep anything on file.

Great experience. Felt safe the entire time.

It's about a 40 minute walk from the port. We elected to walk to get some exercise. Felt very safe the whole way there and back. We arrived at the hotel to check in for our excursion. We were able to rent a locker for $5, but had to pay a $30 deposit that we did get back. We were then directed across the street via an underground tunnel to avoid traffic. The 3 gentlemen that ran the operation were super friendly, and made sure we knew that safety was a top priority. They showed us hand signals prior to going in the water, and constantly checked that everything was okay with us while we were underwater. Got to hold a puffer fish, sea urchin, star fish, and then got to feed fish from our hand. We could have paid $70 to have videos/pics taken under water, but elected not to. You get a usb drive with everything on it. The $70 would have been for the entire group. However, there were only 2 of us during this booking. Under water a total of 35 minutes by the time we signed waivers and got instructions. Would definitely do this again.

I booked a tour through this company while traveling on Harmony of the Seas and provided all necessary details during booking. However, the tour's meet-up time (9:30 AM) was identical to my ship’s disembarkation time, making it impossible to arrive on time. This critical timing conflict was never communicated to me. Despite my best efforts, I reached the meeting point by 10:10 AM but found no representative and received no call or guidance from their on-site coordinator, as promised. The lack of proper communication and consideration for logistical realities made this experience extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company for cruise passengers due to their poor planning and unprofessional service.

After reviewing our records, we do not have any bookings listed for 9:30 a.m. from Guests arriving on the Harmony of the Seas. This ship typically arrives in port between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. local time, which makes a 9:30 a.m. immersion work perfectly fine. The only booking we have that matches a similar name like yours was scheduled on Dec 27th at 2:30 p.m., where one of the participants opted not to proceed with the tour due to personal reasons. It is worth to mention that our Staff is always present at the designated location to greet Guests as per the confirmed itinerary. Additionally, all of our Guests receive a confirmation email with detailed meeting directions to ensure there’s no confusion regarding the meeting point. Could you kindly provide us with more details, such as your booking reference or any additional information? This will help us investigate further and ensure we address any misunderstandings. It’s also possible that this was a booking with another tour provider, and we’d like to assist in clarifying that if needed.
