Embrace it ❤️

Caroline_G, Aug 2026
We were met at our hotel by our guide Jack and his partner Zara. At first meeting he was so passionate, enthusiastic and warm. We were at ease for the whole journey to the coffee farm. Their hospitality was second to none. Not only did they embrace us into their community, we embraced ourselves in theirs. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like coffee that much, you will soon learn to love it while you’re in the jungle. Mr moonshine was also very knowledgeable and a joy to be around as we learnt about his culture. Thank you for such an amazing experience Jack, Zara and Mr Moonshine. You will be in safe hands during this tour. DO IT!

Roasting coffee beans in the tribe hills

jerome_v, Aug 2026
Flawless organization. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Jack, the guide is friendly and communicative of his passion for coffee. Khun Moonshine and his family, and all his Karen community are very nice and it was a joy to see them sharing their sane way of life. It was fun to roast its own coffee and we learn quite a bit! I recommended

A Must-Do in Chiang Mai

Michael_H, Aug 2026
Jack was our guide and he was absolutely amazing! We learned so much from him about the entire coffee process, from how the coffee is grown and harvested to roasting and brewing. We also got to learn directly from the farmer, Moonshine, which made the experience feel incredibly authentic and personal. One of my favorite parts was riding in the back of the truck along the jungle roads to reach the coffee forest. It was such a fun way to get there and really added to the adventure. Walking through the forest and seeing firsthand where the coffee grows gave us a completely different appreciation for everything that goes into a cup of coffee. One of the most special parts was getting to plant our own coffee plants. We’re already hoping to return in about four years to see how they’ve grown — and hopefully see the coffee they produce! Jack was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the experience with us. This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Chiang Mai and an experience we’ll remember for a long time. Absolutely recommend it!

Where coffee meets community and purpose.

sgmricardolopez, Aug 2025
Where coffee meets community and purpose. Jack and Jeff delivered one of the most inspiring and meaningful tours I’ve ever experienced. This was not just about coffee — it was about people, culture, and the environment. The tour took us deep into the heart of Thailand’s coffee culture, showing how organic coffee farming is helping to uplift tribal minority communities. Jack and Jeff explained how this work directly supports generational improvements in education and quality of life, creating opportunities that last far beyond a single harvest. We walked through rice fields, coffee plantations, and fruit orchards, even passing a few friendly cows and a peaceful creek. Planting a coffee tree with my own name and date was an unforgettable touch — a living connection to this land and its people. Meeting and interacting with tribal members gave the experience a deeply human dimension, reminding me how interconnected we all are. This tour isn’t just educational; it carries a powerful message about caring for the environment and helping one another in this shared home we call Earth. If you want to learn, connect, and make a positive impact while traveling, Jack and Jeff’s tour is an absolute must.

Incredible Experience

Emily_P, Nov 2024
This day trip was incredible. Not only did we get to roast and brew our own coffee, but we also got to go on a drive and hike through the the local town and jungle to learn more about the lives of the hill tribe. Our guide, Jack, was very knowledgeable on both coffee and the local area. We did not see a single other tourist throughout the entire experience which reinforced how authentic it was.

Incredible, best tour of my trip to Thailand!

Natasha_W, Feb 2024
Amazing experience. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. He and his wife, who run the company, went to great lengths to give us an incredible day. Picked us up at our hotel, drove us to a coffee farm where we met the organic coffee farmer. Then up to the mountaintop in a van, then on foot. Our guide and the farmer stopped many times to show is local plants and insects used for medicinal reasons by the tribes people. We then picked coffee beans, and planted one coffee plant with our name on it. After returning to the farm, we were given an educational presentation about the proper technique of routing and brewing coffee. We were shown how to roast the beans and got to roast our own beans. We were then given the beans to take home as a souvenir. Also, the lunch was amazing! Made by the farmer's mother. Overall, an exceptional experience, the best tour of my trip to Thailand!

Dreamlike coffee ride with nature experience

Kristina_H, Nov 2025
I can only recommend this tour, I would like to give 6 stars, so beautiful and great is the tour. Private, away from the crowds. You are max to 8 on the road and drive into the mountains. The guide Jack is very personable, speaks very good English and tells a lot of background knowledge. You can ask him anything. The tour continues in the mountains with a jeep into the jungle (+ local guide) and then a pleasant hike to see wild coffee cultivation. We dug in our own plant. Lunch was delicious (!) and the workshop afterwards and the coffee was mega. You roast beans yourself and you can take them with you. I would do this tour again! Do I have to in 5 years to see how my coffee plant has developed.;-) It's not a sales event and you can't buy anything, which is great.
