A fantastic day of adventure. The whole experience was brilliant. Base camp was lovely with free tea and coffee and clean showers and toilets.
Jack and the team looked after us so well.
The jungle trek was hot and humid and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially cooling off at the waterfall.
Lunch was delicious.
The tubing was fab. Drinking beer whilst floating down the river, listening to music.
All finished off with the waterfall rock slide.
I'd definitely recommend it of you're after a day of adventure.

The best day! The trek through jungle as amazing but you had to be semi fit to traverse the steep and somewhat difficult terrain. Well worth it! After a lovely lunch at the very tranquil base camp, we enjoyed a leisurely tube float …even with some rain, through the elephant sanctuary where we encountered much elephant activity. Then a short hike to Saa Gee Falls and enjoyed sliding down them…Great experience! Do it!

A hot, humid trek is so much better with a cool-off at the waterfall, and it sounds like Jack and the team looked after you well. Wow what a great day.
We were a family of 5 (2 parents and 'kids' aged 20, 17 & 14).
We had Jack as our guide, who was fantastic, apart from his singing 🤣. As it was just us 5 in our group the trek only took about 2 hours to the waterfall and back, it is not a strenuous trek a couple of our group did it in sliders, hot but most of it in shade. We were the first group to get to the waterfall so had it to ourselves to begin with for a refreshing dip.
Tubing down the river was a relaxing 90 minutes with plenty of elephant photo opportunities, Jack kept us refreshed with beers and soft drinks.
Then finally the waterfall slide to finish off a great day, looks a little daunting at first sight but don't be put off it's great fun.
The venue, Huay Kub Kab, was excellent, soft drinks and snacks on arrival, lunch was a delicious Pad Thai and then fruit snack at the end of the day. All staff were lovely, showers with shower gel, shampoo and towels provided, waterproof phone cases and sunglasses lanyard provided for tubing, they had thought of everything to make the day perfect.
Yes it is a long day from 8am pick up to 6.30pm drop off but it was well organised with nothing too rushed and plenty of time to enjoy each bit.
Highly recommend.

Terrific but long day. We were picked up at 8am and got back to the hotel around 7pm.
Our guide for the hike, Nine, was amazing. No one else signed up for the hike so it was just me and my spouse so she was able to give us a lot of attention and support during the tricky parts of the hike. Like all of the hikes I’ve done in Thailand, I can’t imagine doing them with any mobility issues or after any amount of rain. The trail was dusty and would be very slippery if wet. The paths were very narrow and included a lot of walking on large rocks/boulders without any flat trail options. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it as long as you’re not expecting a clear path type of hike.
We joined up with a bunch of other groups for the river tubing excursion after lunch. It was an absolute highlight of our whole trip. It took about 2 hours and we saw a number of elephants from the water at a local sanctuary. The guide, Bang, has a speaker and a cooler for beers, waters and sodas as needed (you pay for the beer after so no need to worry about carrying cash on the river). There was also a break in the middle with access to toilets and a chance to take some pictures with elephants in the background across the river.
They provided towels and soap to shower afterwards, which made the return trip a lot more comfortable. Highly recommend!

The river tubing to me was boring. It was very short and slow. I have gone tubing in Texas and in Helendale Ga and that’s fun. I Would not have wasted one of my only 3 days doing this activity. It is also on the more pricey side than the other two tours I did. The pad Thai for vegetarian was good, and I enjoyed the hike and that was it. Not worth the price and not worth a day if short on time. Doi Inthathon, and Dantawada with sticky waterfalls. Those are much fun and better tours.

The hike was beautiful, waterfall slider was scary but also really fun and the tubing experience was the perfect way to end the day. The food was also amazing and the host superb.

The trip has been a lot longer than 8 hours, more like 11+ with lots of down time. Hike was on the difficult side due to trail conditions. Tubing was fine, but unexceptional. Poor communication throughout.

The staff are very friendly and the hike and waterfall were great. Nine was a great tour guide. I think the tour would need an improvement with timing and planning. We completed the waterfall trek and got back for lunch at 12:30 however, we did not start the tubing experience until 2:00 pm. We could not start the tubing experience because we were joining another group. I also found the waterfall slide at the end of the tour not worth it.

The trek was great and Nine was a great guide who told us lots of interesting facts. The lunch provided was yummy too. Unfortunately, there is a 2 hr gap that we were not informed about between lunch and the tubing as we had to wait for the separate tubing groups to arrive. The tubing was in two groups of 12, and we only saw a few elephants from afar, and the 'nature park' where they lived was just a dirt island with a lot of construction happening and no real nature/wildlife for the elephants. Unfortunately , we were expecting more ethical and holistic treatment of the elephants. The waterfall slide at the end was great fun! We ended up getting back to the hotel around 7pm after leaving in the morning at 8am.

While it may not look like a lush jungle, these elephants are cared for by their mahouts and have access to better conditions than they previously experienced. Best part of our 3 week trip! Hike through jungle to waterfalls was epic , guide was amazing (Nine). Lazy river through elephant sanctuary truly a once in a life time experience. AND feeding the elephants watermelon to top it all off was unreal. 10/10 book now.

This was a great tour! The hike was much more challenging than I initially thought it would be. Keep that in mind if you haven’t done much hiking before. You definitely need to be comfortable walking on very narrow paths with sharp drop offs, unstable rustic bridges above rushing rivers and general unstable ground with lots of tripping hazards. But it’s beautiful! The tubing is so peaceful and easy - you just put your butt in the tube and let the river carry you down. After the tubing there is another hike but it is much shorter and easier than the first. And there is a waterfall you can slide down! It’s amazing - highly recommend. Our guides were awesome (Bang was our head guide) and base camp was amazing. The facilities were great and the lunch was delicious. I really enjoyed my day!

Didn't expect to slide down a waterfall! But after the first time, hooked to do it three more times!
Tubing was good, but the water was quite low after flooding happened a few weeks prior. So, just less rapids, but still fun, relaxing and got to see elephants too!
Staff were friendly and kept us informed of what we were doing. I am glad we were the first group on the trek to the first (big) waterfall as on the way back we encountered two big groups of 20+. Lunch was provided and tasty - Pad Thai Chicken. Plenty of water, tea, coffee and snacks.
Would recommend if you are looking to do something slightly different in the jungles of Chiang Mai. Unfortunately, no elephant feeding or bathing, but this can be arranged separately.

We had an awesome experience with Bang and his team while tubing down the river. The day started with an awesome trek to a secluded waterfall with Nine. We then went tubing down the river and got to see elephants in ENP! Lastly the waterfall slide was great and my husband loved it. Would recommend to anyone looking to experience elephants of Chiang Mai in an ethical way. Get to experience these giants through observation with no unethical interactions. Awesome experience!

We had an excellent day! Really well organised but also quite chill. We had an amazing trek through the jungle with Nine our superb and extremely knowledgeable guide before having a delicious lunch! The afternoon was spent floating down a river in tubes expertly timed to see the elephants having a drink and a bath. Bang our guide kept the local info and good music flowing as well as the beer. We finished the day walking up to a natural water fall slide for a bit of sliding and swimming. A hot shower and a change of clothes later we were all driven home. An excellent day we can all highly recommend it 👍

The jungle trek 2.4km each way was fun. Do not wear your best trainers, your shoes will get wet! Fun going around some large rocks with bamboo & rope, however tour leaders were there also assisting. If your mobility is not good then reconsider, however I am 62 & had back surgery earlier this year & I was ok. The pad thai lunch ..yum. plenty of drinks & snacks as well. Tubing was fun. The tubes were tied together so I was pleased about that. We did see elephants, even though we had been told they still hadn't been moved back since flooding so that was a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyable, memorable day. Thank you Bang for your hosting & wonderful setup.

This outing became one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. Bang took us through the jungle, made sure we kept pace, and made it through to the waterfalls. We were able to see elephants up close and feed them. The waterfall slide was quite the experience as well. My parents are in their 60’s and were able to keep up with the pace and trek. It was such an amazing experience.

Honestly, I don’t write reviews a lot, but this tour is worth every bit. From the jungle hike, amazing experience, and the tubing. Especially the tubing was a special experience because it seemed like rafting and all the other activities were going too fast to enjoy the views (elephants, water buffalo, and nauture). This is an experience of a lifetime. Not to mention that Bang is an amazing tour guide.

One of the best excursions I’ve ever done! The entire tour was amazing! So much “wow” factor!
Bang, our tour guide picked us up from our hotel and took us to his base camp. We started with a trek to a beautiful waterfall. The trek itself was plenty of fun, climbing over rocks and crossing small streams. Then we got to the waterfall and were able to get into the water.
After that we went back to the base camp and had a delicious pad Thai lunch.
Then we went tubing on the river. This was the best part! Tubing, admiring the beautiful scenery drinking a beer. We saw elephants and then saw the water buffalo cross the stream right in front of us!!
Back to the base camp for a shower and a cup of tea and snacks. Then Bang dropped us off back at the hotel.
Everything about this tour was amazing and Bang was a fabulous host. Book this trip!

Couldn’t recommend more!! The most unique tour either of us have been on. Bang (as everyone has already mentioned) is awesome and very personable. The hike, waterfall slide, and tubing were perfectly timed and so much fun. Also some above and beyond things to note: the base site had showers and lockers for us to store the stuff we didn’t want to carry, and Bang lent us a couple waterproof phone cases when we couldn’t find any. There is also a place to stay at the base site (with a pool!), which we would book if we were to do it over again. There is also an IG with more photos and videos @tubingchiangmai :)

Aww what a lovely day, a whole day nearly 12 hours, Bang is a really kind and considerate host, as a solo travelling middle aged women it was such a nice hike in the morning, followed by a Pad Thai (veggie for me which was no issue) at Bangs beautiful
Property followed by an afternoon of tubing down the river to be greeted by sanctuary elephants and joined by rescued water buffalo (this is through the river next to it he Elephant Nature Park -a big shout out to them for being truly ethical and having so many rescue animals ) . Last step of the day is a walk/hike to a beautiful waterfall where you can decide to take the plunge (or not , no pressure) then Bang drove us all home. You can also decide to feed the elephants with a Project run by the Elephant nature Park,
