Excellent Driver

The driver picked me up right on time in the hotel lobby (and brought me back just as punctually). Throughout the entire journey, he drove very calmly and safely. Upon arrival at our destination, he helped me purchase the correct ticket and escorted me to the entrance, where he subsequently waited for my return. He didn't speak a word of English, but thanks to a translation app, this wasn't a problem at all. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha in a relaxed and stress-free manner.

Easy way to get to the Leshan Buddha from Chengdu. The driver, Huang, was nice and helped us buy the tickets, and we could explore it on your own, which is nice. No pressure to rush. The price is a little expensive.

Driver, Shi Jian Hua, arrived early with a smile. The vehicle was clean and equipped with air-conditioning with plenty of water if needed. He accompanied us through out the tour making sure we hit all the highlights. We never felt rushed. Shi Jian Hua was definitely a very experienced driver. We arrived there and back date and sound. Highly recommend!

Comfortable trip and beautiful scenary

We had a punctual pickup in a nice car with a smooth ride over to Leshan. Huang Lin suggested the order in which we first took the boat ride then did the climb to see the Big Buddha and it worked out very well. She helped us to buy the tickets and was very communicative when it comes to the pickup to go back to the city. Everything was effortless and the sights were quite amazing even though the feet of the Big Buddha was closed. Definitely a more comfortable and convenient method to go see Leshan. Recommend!

It was a great trip! It’s about 2 hours by car from downtown Chengdu. My driver, Wu Chen, was great and helped me a lot once we got to the site (tickets, etc). It’s not too bad of a climb to the top from the main entrance. You can also opt to climb down to the feet and then climb 20 stories back up again but I chose not to do that. Overall the trip went smoothly and I would highly recommend it!
