Like going around Chengdu with your best local foodie mate

Lala went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for me in Chengdu. It really felt like meeting my very own local foodie mate that shows the best places to savor the local cuisine. And what a cuisine Sichuan has to offer! It’s great to stroll around an authentic neighborhood and see for yourself at the markets what makes the food taste so amazing. The freshness of the products and the amount of variety is simply astonishing. The guide picked various delicious treats which we ate as breakfast. She really knew all the nice spots. Later on we had tea while trying calligraphy. We also visited several cute shopping streets and had a coffee. Later on, we went to People’s Park and I experienced the traditional ear cleaning techniques Chengdu is famous for. The other highlight was the authentic Chengdu style hotpot among the locals. The tour ended at the impressive and well explained history behind the Wuhou temple. I can totally recommend booking this tour!
