Waste of time

This tour was a waste of time. Pickup was 2 hours before the first sight seeing part, which I could’ve just walked to from my hotel. I got shuttles around from bus to bus because there weren’t any English speaking tour guides even though I booked an English tour guide. The guide barely gave any stories of the history and we did a lot of standing around. I could’ve just done this by myself in less time and for free, saw nothing interesting and was unorganized

Hello We are very sorry for not being able to meet your expectations about our activity, we have analyzed your comment and we have the following points to clarify: 1.The pick up of the tourists in the accommodations we do them in exclusive vehicles to take them to the meeting point where the tour starts, if there is a time that passes between the pick up and the beginning of the tour. 2.Most of the tourists who did the activity were Latinos, for them we made a change to be with a guide who would do it in English. 3.Most of the time is walking, the tour inside the castle of san felipe must be on foot and the walk inside the walled city is also on foot. All these clarifications are made because this is what we offer in the tour description.

We did not even go on the tour. The day prior I had to ask 3 times where they were going to pick us up. They tried to call me several times even after I texted them and said it’s too expensive to answer on a cruise ship. The communication was terrible but they sure were prompt to advise we would not get our money back. I did not trust them after the terrible communication the day before.

The ServiExpress team has written the following contact attempts: 1. We tried to contact you at the contact number provided in the reservation but this didn't have a WhatsApp account. By not having an account we tried to call directly and you said that the call costs were high, that's why we started talking through the chat of the booking platform, in which you were given the information that we would be waiting for you at the pier to take you to where the chiva was since this begins its journey 8:15 am so that the tour starts 9:00 am. 2. Since their cruise ship arrived at 7:30 am and the disembarkation is delayed, it was best to wait for y'all and take them to the point where the chiva was, since it would not give them time to get to our office where they wouldn't find the vehicle. 3. Through the chat we also left evidence that we were waiting for them at the disembarkation with a sign with their name, as nobody approached the driver and the messages through the platform chat weren't answered either, in a moment of desperation we tried to call them several times to see if you answered but we didn't get an answer. We showed that our team complied with the protocol for the tour and we were ready to make the activity without any inconvenience. Happy day wishes you the Serviexpress team.

Dancing on the bus was a surprise. The passengers were a lot of fun. We booked the tour in English so we were surprised to be the only English speaking people on the tour. Most of it was in Spanish with bits of English added.

The tour guide Herman was very knowledgable and professional but the tour itself was not worth the money and the transportarion was horrendous

The tour was OK, got to see some sites that you wouldn't see otherwise. I will say that I have a few tips for the operators: (1) Know how many passengers you have. If you have 10 passengers 15mins is enough time to stop to take pics, however if you have 20 on a bus, 15mins is not. We had to sramble and rush to take pics because we had such little time for a full bus of people. (2) It would be beneficial to either separate your tours to completely english and spanish OR have a guide that translates between both seamlessly. We were english speaking and literally was left out of things being said because there was no translation. Thankfully we didn't make a big deal of it, just enjoyed the sites, but we did feel left out. Overall the tour was good.

We did this tour our first day in Cartagena and had a great time with Roberto! He was very knowledgeable of the history of Categena. Roberto also gave great recommendations of things to do and see throughout the city!!

It's not a city tour! Transfer to the castle with a 10-minute stop on a beach. Impatient driver. In the castle the guide explained nothing and even matched the place and time of return. Bad experience
