Esteban was a great instructor. My kids, my husband and I learned the basics and had fun while doing it. He taught us the foundational steps for salsa, as well as how to be a good lead/partner while dancing. It was an entertaining experience and we would recommend this for families.

He was late getting to the class he did not seem like he wanted to be there and he did not make it fun. Just a little boring. He went a little fast on some steps and did not make sure that the 5 people in the class got the moves down right before he moved to the next.

Great class with Rueben! This was my second Salsa class and my friend’s first. Rueben was very clear and provided easy to follow instructions. We learned several routines, including multiple turns. Rueben was attentive and would make corrections throughout the class in a fun way.

Fantastic! So pleased we did this. My husband was a bit reluctant but even he enjoyed himself . Esteban was a great teacher - took it slowly but after a hour , we were all able to salsa! I’m sure there is plenty more to learn but a great start.

We loved our beginner lesson! The place is a little tricky to find but we just messaged via WhatsApp the day of and the school sent comprensible instructions. We were all tourist visitors but the instructor was fun and patient. It was over 35° but the studio had amazing air conditioning!

Our original class time was full. They accommodated us with a private lesson. We learned basics with each name of the dance and we also learned an entire routine that we were able to take home and practice the routine. The instructor was knowledgeable and professional. So much fun!

Dear Irene, I am truly sorry you left the school with that impression. I have talked to all the staff about your case, and afer all, I understood that you were trying to join the salsa tour having purchased a group class ticket. At the end of your salsa class, when the tour was leaving for the bar hopping, you were claiming to join the salsa tour and the staff was double checking in the system to make sure we didn´t make a mistake in your reservation. That had to be done very quick since the tour was on a schedule and the situation was delaying the tour. Maybe that is why you felt the rush. After checking everywhere, they verified that you indeed had a ticket for a group class, which is a totally different service from the salsa tour, and your service was already over. There is not mcuh to organize for the salsa class, other than having your spot free and your name in our system so you can join a group salsa class for an hour of dancing and fun. We are commited to provide our best service and energy to all our guests and that is why we did not hesitate holding a bit the group in case we had made a mistake... which finally was not the case. Again, sorry that you missunderstood your reservation, even though the service is clear in the description you had in it. A 1 hour group class. The class was good but IMPOSSIBLE to find. There is zero signage and we had to come back twice because we couldn’t find the class the first time. Some people got beer and water and some didn’t.

Dear Alexandra, Thank you for your feedback, we are limited by city restrictions to put a sign of our business outside of a building with several businesses. That is why we ask you to look for Edificio Banco Santander, we provide the full address with extra instructions, and are ready to help if anyone has troubles to find us. About the beers, for sure you just got the regular salsa group class, which is the most basic class. Other people got beers and water because they got the full package with drinks inckuded or some other people just directly bought the drinks at the school. I hope this message helped you understand about what you disliked. It is a matter of city policies + the type of class/tour you decide to get with us. Happy new year and keep dancing

Although our instructor was nice, pay it ent, and accommodating, the venue was too small and after the instructor left, no one spoke enough English to get a good dining experience. I kind of feel like the restaurant took advantage of the fact we were tourist. We had fun, but I wouldn’t do it again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We don’t offer dining experience at all, therefore, our service finished with the salsa class, as you directly booked with us. After the class, you asked if the bar, where the class took place, offered food, and decided to eat there. (That was not organized, neither related to Crazy Salsa, and due to our schedule the instructor couldn’t stay to translate. Nevertheless, this place is a well known and respectable salsa bar, which had a published menu with all the prices exposed in it. We are sorry to hear that it was difficult to communicate with them. Didn’t hear from tour operator in regards to start time of the event. Made other plans since I was waiting all night and day. Got start time a few hours prior to the event. Wasn’t able to attend due to this. Poor communication, not organized.

Dear Ashley, your booking was done the day before the class after business hours, we sent you a message early the next day (day of the tour) to give you the time for the class, and you didn’t reply at all. The instructor and all the logistics for your tour was ready there at the announced time and you didn’t show up, neither send a message to cancel or move the time. We understand you are unhappy because we didn’t refund the money, and that is the reason for this bad rating you are giving us, but the tour was organized and set up for you to attend. Nevertheless we gave you more options to join another group that was taking the same tour the next day. It has been your choice not to attend. Great class but bad barmaid ruins the place

I did a salsa class which was great fun and then I decided to stay for the band. I bought a drink and went and sat at a table. I started to speak to a couple near me and they said it was 2 for 1 Happy Hour and why did I only have one drink? He asked the barmaid why and she said I didn't ask. He said she told him it was Happy Hour otherwise they wouldn't know either and that she should get me another drink. She said the 2 for 1 didn't apply to me as I was on my own !! Really ? Then not long after she came up to me and asked me to move to a stool against the wall because the tables were for couples. The place wasnt even full and it was extremely rude of her in both instances and ruined the experience for me. So do the classes but be careful where you sit for the live music My friends 2 days later had a big argument with the same girl who asked them to move from a front table because only 2 of the 4 were drinking. They had already paid 15,000 each to get in and then were told they couldnt sit at the front when hardly anyone was in there !! They left due to this one barmaid who seems to dislike single women. She also doesn't give you the change and asks you to give it to her as a tip!! Unbelievable

There were 4 of us Muslim women attending this Level I Salsa class. We all enjoyed the Instructor and the ease in which he communicated the three basic dance steps. The beat of the Latin music was wonderful. It was a true work-out and we were glad we did it before having dinner. I's location was so close to the Clock Tower, making it easy to find. We danced our way out of Cartagena!

I dance salsa for a very long time, but I still participated, also hoping to dance afterwards.. The dance teacher is young, the content average and we were also only 6 , of which 4 from a family.. When you offer something like this in Cartagena and charge a lot of money for it, it is cheeky to say the least.
