Too long on the bus.

Tour, Guide and driver was exceptional, however, we had to make over 4 stops. We started at 7:09 am at our hotel and it was 10:15 am when the bus picked up the final guess. I asked for a small group, but it ended up with a full bus load. So, we spent 6 of the 12 hours just on the bus pickup and drop off.

It was an okay trip. It would have been worth the money if Tulum actually was included.

This was an okay trip. The were a few tour guides on board but only one guide spoke any English and he didn't say a work until almost 3 hours into the trip (3 English speaking on board). Tulum was canceled the day before yet we didn't find out until the time we should have arrived there. Spent too much time at shopping opportunities instead of exploring and learning about Coba. No free water given.

I put 3 stars because I’m not completely satisfied with the travel agency . Transalamex . This trip is not so organized. First they took us to a souvenir store for the meeting place. We waited 30-45 mins there before heading to Tulum . Second they took us to our lunch place waited an hour to get lunch while again looking at souvenirs. BTW we got lunch around 2PM!! Third at the end of the tour . Guesse where they took us again another souvenir store. We spent more time at souvenir stores than what we want to see and signed up for. Transalamex if you want to improve your service please focus on what tourist want to see . Also the tour guides does not pay much attention to English speaking tourist. We still have fun but please improve your service 1. Focus on the attractions not souvenir shopping. 2 Tour guides be more attentive to English speaking tourist. Thanks

WASTE OF TIME - MORE TIME SPENT WAITING and IN BUS

**DISCLAIMER** - This is our EXPERIENCE, not our "PERCEPTION" that the tour company will tell you otherwise. PLEASE READ THE OTHER 1-STAR and 2-STAR reviews so you can make a determination if this tour is for you and your family. I initially bought the tour because it said TULUM-COBA and CENOTE TOUR. However, when we got to the meeting place, it became a 4-in-1 tour. My family (wife and 6 year old son) stayed at the GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA - CORAL BEACH. We were picked up - curb side - at 0715. The driver then made his sales speech of things that you need to buy - "Natural lotion and bug spray," "Safe for the environment," blah blah blah..it's a bargain for $13.00. Of course, some people were so frightened that they bought-in to the sell. But not us - we know about tourist scams, and this was one of them. The driver then drove us - just a few hundred feet to the meeting point at Fiesta America Store, where we had to wait for the main bus. We waited for another 45-55 minutes for the bus to arrive. So, while waiting, they tried to UPSELL these tourists about "SPECIALS." For $25, you can get unlimited drinks, and be the first one on the bus. You can get a train tide in TULUM and a bike to use at COBA. Well, let's just say that my family was the only family (because we're seasoned travelers) who did not purchase this SCAM. When the tour guide saw that we were the only ones that did not purchase the UPSELL - THEY DID NOT TALK TO US - AND PRETTY MUCH IGNORED US! **Again, this is our experience** Guess what, we were still the first ones to get on the bus. When the bus got on its way, the tour guide "Luis" and "Christian" said they went to school to study about the Mayan culture, yet they did not mention anything that is relevant or note-worthy that I cannot find on the internet. INSTEAD, they did another sales pitch of buying lotion and bug spray because the Mayans use the water and they drink it and blah blah blah. It was laughable, and pathetic. Then, the tour guide brought up the Shaman and said my sister cannot get pregnant...blah blah blah, but she saw a Shaman and now she has TWINS. And he said, later, we're going to see a Shaman and you can get "blessed" (make a donation $$). Then another SCAM of a Mayan Calendar for $23. Then he said, "You're on vacation - it's only money." More selling of rocks, masks, etc. In a nutshell, the tour was 14.5 hours long. You spend about 1 hour in TULUM, 1.5 hours in COBA, 1 hour in CENOTE.
