Take a two-part jungle tour of the Nichupte Lagoon. First, enjoy a guided tour of the lagoon and learn about its importance to the local ecosystem. I throughly enjoyed riding in the speed boat and snorkeling with Captain Fox. I also enjoyed participating in the Mayan traditions. I would definitely recommend to anyone who comes to Cancun to participate.

It was an awesome experience. The staff was very friendly and accomodating...our guide Angel was great! The boat ride was alot of fun and the snorkeling was nice.

Excellent adventure, wide open throttle from the start! Super fun and safe. 10/10 must do at a great value. Good entertainment and photos prior to boarding, then some well placed candid photos while in motion in the boats.

Juan was our tour guide and was really informative and funny. Fabio also did a great job teaching us to snorkel while being safe.

This was a great excursion we added to our trip. All the tour guides were great and have clear instructions. It’s great for all ages. The speed boat hold two adults comfortably. If you have a small child they ride with you if it’s another adult they will have to drive another speed boat. We saw plenty of fish during the snorkeling. I would highly recommend. The food was just okay and our bus was waiting so no time to really eat.

This experience was the worst trip I have ever taken through trip advisor. The whole experience was not what was advertised. Very cheesy Mayan actors. Begged for money for 1 hour. Then went on the boat with an angry guide. He yelled at my son and I while we tried to steer the boat to the snorkeling island. We enjoyed snorkeling but we were only there 20 minutes. Last group in and first group out. They also charged us $200 more when we checked in.
Come on Trip Advisor you can do better then this.

Excellent time operating the speed boat through the lagoon! It was great to learn how to operate a speedboat properly…no pedals…gas or brake. Watch your speed because the person in front of you may slow down unexpectedly. Had to take a star off because they contacted me 90 minutes nefarious departure to say they couldn’t make it to my hotel due to logistical issues. I booked the excursion back in March, so surely they knew of these issues well before 90 minutes to departure. The initial Mayan celebration was a nice touch…well worth it.

¡Fue una experiencia fabulosa! En México si saben cómo tratar a los turistas. En particular la experiencia de Mayan Jungle Tour Speed Boat Snorkel and Snack se la recomiendo a todos. La presentación antes de salir en el Tour, donde muestran parte de las tradiciones Maya fue fantástica. El Safety Briefing fue muy completo. El viaje en los Speed Boats al área de snorkeling fue muy bueno. Los botes están muy bien mantenidos y el guía está muy orientado a la seguridad de la operación. ¡El área de hacer snorkeling es fantástica! Se ve toda clase de vida marina en el área de arrecifes. No pierdan esta oportunidad.
It was a fabulous experience! In Mexico they really know how to treat tourists. In particular, the Mayan Jungle Tour Speed Boat Snorkel and Snack experience. I recommend it to everyone. The presentation before going on the Tour, where they show part of the Mayan traditions was fantastic. The Safety Briefing was very complete. The trip on the Speed Boats to the snorkeling area was exceptionally good. The boats are very well maintained, and the guide is very oriented to the safety of the operation. The snorkeling area is fantastic! You see all kinds of marine life in the reef area. Do not miss this opportunity.

Awesome experience , very good for the price . The hosts were great and the captain for the speedboats was amazing. The speedboats were easy to drive and super fun. Snorkeling experience was nice . Loved the Mayan presentation and ceremony. Wish they would just add all the fees in up front.

While the boat tour was great, we had to wait over an hour to actually do the boat tour. They started with some Mayan rituals where folks had to partake. This wasn’t shared when we signed up for the tour and didn’t feel comfortable participating in it.

While I appreciated the effort put into the tour, it felt somewhat commercialized. The performances were carried out by a single person handling all the acts, which limited the experience. Additionally, we missed out on snorkeling that day, and it would have been better to receive more than a morning’s notice so we could adjust or cancel our plans. The 50-minute longer boat ride was not an ideal substitute. Alcohol was available at an extra cost, and the lunch provided was a modest serving of sopes. Overall, I had fun, but it was more of an average to slightly above-average experience. Including the docking fee in the total cost would also be more convenient.

If it was just the speed boats it would have been 5 stars, we had a fantastic time! While we didn't need it, there was very minimal instructions or supervision given with the boats. The whole experience started with a Mayan welcome, interesting. It then proceeded into running across a suspension bridge for photo opportunities, kind of cheapen the experience. The snorkelling, while we saw statutes and lots of fish, the 3 groups all had orange life-jackets, white boats & crew all wore purple made it very disorientating in the water when trying to find your group or boat. Plus there was no easy way to get back into the boats and I was very ungracefully dragged by the lifejacket back onto the boat. The snack was stale with very minimal topping or favour.

I'm so glad that I picked this activity to do with my family and with this company on our holiday in Cancun! It was my husbands birthday and a fun day out and we did have so much fun! Our tour guide was fantastic doing an English tour and driving the speedboat is something we had never done and it was just amazing to be out on the lagoon and then to go snorkeling. The Mayan ceremony was fascinating and we ended up getting the photo package with excellent quality pictures. Highly recommended for such a great 5*experience!!

What an experience! The Mayan show to kick things off was fun! The speed boats were super fun to drive and simple to operate. Fabio was a great captain who delivered very clear instructions. The scuba portion was just the right amount of time for my family. The chicken tacos waiting for us at the end were a perfect snack to cap off the experience! Definitely would recommend this to anyone visiting Cancun!

Highly recommend! I've actually done this before and enjoyed. My son and I did it this time. It's very interactive, educational, and fun! We unfortunately weren't able to snorkel because of weather- but they allowed us to drive the boats longer. It was out of their control. Lunch is always delicious. I actually have another reservation to do it tomorrow with other family members.

This was a very fun trip for the day! The downside was it was so hot that the performance was hard to watch but the give you bottles of water and a snack at the end of the day which helped! Docking fee and transport for two ppl ended up being 70 extra dollars so just be aware of that, but otherwise it was so fun our tour guide flash was amazing and the snorkeling was beautiful.

The crew, the show was fun and riding the boats the kids had a blast. They do provide towels and an area to rinse off. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.

Fernanda was our tour boat guide, he was amazing!!!! We enjoyed the Mayan show also with Daphne, Harry, and the other gentlemen I'm sorry I forgot his name. The whole excursion was awesome. I'd definitely do it again!!! I liked the fact that we were allowed to bring our phones to take pics & they also took plenty of pics to purchase also. 10/10 I recommend!! My husband & I enjoyed ourselves.

Everyone was very nice and it was a well organized and awesome experience. We had tons of fun and the snorkeling was super cool. I took off a star for two reasons : the address given on the ticket wasn't the correct address and we ended up in the wrong place, having the Uber driver change directions twice. Also, not that I care much about it but it does mention a snack and none was provided, just a water bottle. Otherwise it was an absolute blast and we loved it.

For starters, they were late picking us up. Our resort was less than 5 minutes away and apparently they forgot us. Upon arriving I was asked to pay a fee. The cashier charged me in pesos and I asked her was the amount correct and she stated yes. I was with my kids all under 18. I told her we needed a 4-seater but that was ignored. My 17 year old had to drive one of the boats and it was horrific. My 17 year old and 14 year old were at the back of the line. They were waving for help and were basically ignored. I went over in my boat to see what the problem was and the tour guided yelled at me. Once we were finally done, some man came looking for me and stated that they cashier made a mistake and charged me in pesos instead of US dollars. If I was not in another country I would not have paid because I clearly asked her when I paid upon arrival. Just use another company where all the fees are calculated before hand and your safety is priority. The winds was very high and not ideal to drive a boat in. If I could have got a refund before going I would have. I do not recommend them at all!
