What To Expect

Meet your guide at your Cancun hotel to begin the trip along the Caribbean coast to Puerto Morelos, a small fishing community with beautifully-preserved reefs and thick jungle terrain. Swim to a pair of stunning snorkeling spots, where you’ll find bright coral formations and wildlife in clear, shallow water. Enjoy free time in each location, so you can explore the underwater world at your own pace.

Trade your mask and fins for a four-wheeler, then follow your guide deep into the Yucatan jungle. You’ll have your own ATV to drive: listen for the sounds of tropical birds, spot exotic plants and watch for wildlife along the way.

Discover a jungle cenote with access to a flowing underground river system and challenge yourself to take on a series of six ziplines, soaring through the air on a secure harness system. Try one zipline that plunges directly into the cenote, skimming over the water to a jump-off point. Leap from cliffs inside the limestone caves, then cool off in the stone-chilled water. Finish the day with return transfer to your Cancun hotel.

My friends and I had the BEST time here. The staff is so helpful, kind and funny! The experience was definitely one to remember and I would definitely do it all over again. It was definitely worth $100 and although the pictures they take costs, they do take great ones. If you debating booking, do it!

Got dropped off on side of the road

Cami_R, Jul 2024
I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this felt frustrating. But this was infuriating. we had the excursion starting at 10am and we didn’t get “lunch” until 5:30pm. The more concerning thing is our transportation dropped us off on the side of the road and passed our hotel and refused to turn around and drop us off. After walking to sea life adventures they were closed and didn’t have transportation for us so we had to call an Uber back to our hotel.

Response from Host, Jul 2024

With all the respect that you deserve from me and according to what has already been investigated, I think that the most frustrating thing for you was that I rejected your refund, since you did the complete activity in a full day and you wanted the whole money to be returned. because the driver made the mistake of leaving you at the Marina and not at your hotel, My big huge question ¿why you did not contacte me? If you have been in communication with me via WhatsApp all these time asking me about the chaco sandals and about the times how come just yesterday the day of your activity and right on the spot of the situation you had , ¿why did you not communicate with me? I sent you a message to ask you and you saw my message but until today you hasn't answered me. You called and Uber and you couldnt call me? Im always available any time that is my job. Now the food part, if you read the description, is very very clear and says the following: Additional info: It is recommended to bring some energy bars or snacks (the tour is too extreme and the box lunch is provided at the end of all the activities to avoid someone getting sick, dizzy or with stomach ache) Read more about Snorkel, ATV, Zipline and Cenote Adventure from Cancun - https://www.viator.com/tours/Cancun/JUNGLE-ADVENTURE-ECO-SNORKELING/d631-33865P1?mcid=56757 And for the record, and for you future clients, that take the time to read reviews. They are being offered a full refund of what they paid for your Uber. because it is the right thing to do. The driver made a mistake of not reaching the passengers at the doors of the hotel (he is already being disciplined and will be suspended for the time being. for this situtation) But the driver would never put the life of a passenger in danger. the security guards at the marina were there and talked to them until the uber came for them.

Don’t do snorkeling with these guys

Anusha_M, Jul 2023
Overall, I will give a 3 star to our experience. It would have been a 0 or 1 if not for the ziplines and Cenote experience. I would give 0 to snorkeling experience, a 4 star to speed boat experience, a 3 star to ATV and 5 star to ziplines, and a 4 start to Cenote experience. A van picked us up from the hotel. They were almost 1 and half hrs late (apparently Van broke down)l. Then they rushed us at the snorkeling place. They didn’t give us enough time in the water. For first time snorkelers, this is not something you should do. The guide was not in the water and didn’t watch out for us at all. We were literally on our own. One of our friends panicked in the water and called out for help, the guide didn’t even move. He threw his hands up and said “not my problem”. Safety wise, I would Give them a 0 for this. 2 of us got bruises on our arms when the guide pulled us out of water onto the boat without telling us what he was doing. After snorkeling, we were taken in a van to the ATV/Zipline place. ATV experience was okay, some vehicles were not in good condition but overall experience was not bad. Zipline guy was awesome, he made it fun. At the end , home made empanadas were the highlight!! Be prepared, due to extreme activities, they don’t provide lunch until all activities are done. We had lunch at 5:00.

Over all .... you wrote this will only to discredit a tour that has been on the web for 6 years!. that has more than 15 employees working together to bring money to their homes and families and work to do the best HUMANLY POSSIBLE every day days of their lives so that our passengers have the best day of their lives? My God have life and enjoy every moment. You did not come to vacation, apparently you should better hire a private tour, where only you are treated as the Queen that you are and deserve.

Waited and hungry

Gustavo_S, Jun 2022
Speed boat and snorkeling was good . We started excursion at 8. When you get to Cenotes, they won’t let you have lunch until you are done . We didn’t finish until 2. They served lunch chicken fajitas . 4 tostadas. Very small portions . Couldn’t believe they actually count 4 on each plate . We waited 2 1/2 hours for ride back to hotel. Excursion didn’t offer water . WAs fun still .

Response from Host, Jun 2022

Thank you very much for your comment, we appreciate very much that you value our work on the speed boats I will make sure to find out what happend with the food since on my understanding they serve a good portion Take care and be safe!

Meh..

Terrianne_D, Aug 2021
Speed boats were a hassle and kept needing water pumped out. Ziplines and atv were alright. Atv is through a small course and takes about 20 minutes. The cenote was gross with nasty water and painful limestone. It was nice doing all activities in one day, but for the price I wouldn't do it again.

Response from Host, Aug 2021

First of all the speed boats move with gasoline, never with water. The ATV circuit must have seemed short, but we reiterate that we have just passed Hurricane Grace, and there were still some parts that could not be passed and for your safety it was better to take them through a safer circuit. The cenotes part , there are different colors, there are greens, there are brown and blue. There are many types of cenotes in the region, in Amazing is Green. I want to explain one thing, the entire surface of Cancun Q. Roo especially around the cenotes is made of limestone, it can hurt if you walk barefoot, so in your confirmation letter you are asked to use water shoes or tennis shoes as a suggestion . Regards

Started great. Ended very poorly

David, Jun 2021
Snorkeling was an easy 5 stars. Amazing experience! Got to drive 2 passenger speed boats out to the reef and the snorkeling experience there was really awesome. Our snorkeling guide was so fun! The rest of the excursion was terrible. ATV ride was extremely short and slow. The zips lining was fine, but the cenote was very small and just full of green water. The chicken fajitas that was served were not good at all, and the portion sizes were so small. Kind of felt like we got catfished.. Consider just doing the snorkeling and doing the rest of the excursion somewhere else.

Response from Host, Jun 2021

Thank you for your kind comment, we are really happy that you spend a great time at the first part of the tour. And we appreciate the feedback of the second part of the tour and I will take action on the matter of the specific points that you are letting us know. I want to tell you that at no time is there a catfished, because if that was the case, the experience with us from the beginning would have been disastrous. Personally I will see what happened, and in advance I ask for an apology, although I would have liked more if you had contacted me directly at the numbers you have to communicate with me. and fix this matter at the moment. because believe me that through tripadvisor you can not do much. as at the time it could have been done.

Look for another tour

John_C, May 2021
I’d probably skip this one. Boat/snorkel was fun and was just the right amount of time. Zip line, ATV, Cenote would be a hard pass. Tour Company did very little in explaining what we were going to do. ATV in poor condition and the trail was the same one the horses used. Zip line was a group of 20+ people - not sure how safe it really was. Cenote was interesting, but not really worth the time. Food was really good. We waited over an hour for our transport back to the resort which took 1 1/2 hours. There are lots of options in Cancun. I recommend using one of these other options.

Response from Host, May 2021

I am only going to make a single comment and this to clarify to our reader friends. How unconscious of you to write that the same path of ATVs is used with horses, it is a big lie, the horses are in an isolated area from the motorcycles since the noise can make them nervous and both for the safety of the horse and the of a passenger, the same path is never used. The ATV road is up and down it is not a flat road The horse path is completely flat so that the animals do not suffer some kind of injury to their legs. How inconsiderate you are to write that, since we have our horses in the best condition. And your comment is appreciated, but the reviews also support us

A fun day

Timothy_W, Mar 2021
The zip lining and ATV was fun, the cenote was OK. If the cenote is what you really want to see this isn’t you trip to take. I’m only giving 3 stars because the weather stopped us from doing snorkeling and boats. I will give Viator 5 stars on customer service. They gave us a partial refund. They also were extremely helpful in getting a cell phone back to us that we left behind on our Taxi. They brought it right out to our resort that evening.

Response from Host, Mar 2021

Hi Mr. Timothy Thanks for you comment, and we are sorry about the weather and not be able to do the snorkel, may be next time. But we are so glad that you enjoy the rest of the activities.

Adventurous day!!

Wander270125, Jan 2020
We enjoyed our excursion a lot, and were quite worn out by the end of it. The speedboat and zip lines were the best parts in our opinion. The day we went was windy, so snorkeling was difficult due to increased wave strength and the ATV rides were more challenging than anticipated. All staff were wonderful and courteous. Take plenty of cash—you’ll want some of the souvenirs they offer that they don’t advertise. (Obviously keep it safe, but we’d recommend $100 on top of what you paid for passes for tips, lockers, marina fees and pictures.)

Great experience with teenage kids

Sharon_P, Jul 2019
Booked this adventure with my 19 year old daughter & 14 year old nephew. My sister & I had such a great time... we wanted our teenage kids to know how cool their moms were so went on the speedboat, snorkeling, zip lining and the ATV with them, kind of nervous at 1st as the zip lines were intimidating however the attendants made it fun & reassuring. Overall the tour is well organized & everyone was very helpful.

This was a great tour. I enjoyed myself in every aspect of the tour from the snorkeling to the ziplining. Every tour guide was kind and respectful. I especially loved Paco and Ricardo at the Yucaton Jungle. They were personable and made sure we enjoyed each moment of the tour. Definitely book this tour, you will not be disappointed.

a lot fun to do boating, ATV, zipping, denote in one day. Too bad not to snorkelling due to the weather. Be prepared the road for ATV is bumpy. Ziplines are not challenge as I expected, but still excited. It's good experience to try different activities never done before.

Amazing! This whole day 7am - 7pm is SO well planed. Morning is dedicated for speed boat and snorkeling. The coral reef is the BEST place I tried for snorkeling. Afternoon is at Boca del Puma doing zipline, atv, cenote swimming. Amazing crew there. This is the best Viator Cancun tour I booked among other four. Highly recommended!!!!

Overall a very good experience. A couple small things I would change. We had to run back to our hotel with the shuttle driver to pick up 20 US dollars for our dock fee and it was not listed as things to bring. 2 the light lunch wasn't served until 5pm when our tour was done and it was way too light of a meal. Needs more food for 129 each person in US dollars.

This tour was truly amazing from start to finish. Pick up time was prompt and organized. There was a lot of waiting around but I was prepared from reading other reviews. The boat to the snorkel site was fun, not much to see at the reef we went to, but ziplining was fun and safe. Would book again!

Did this package Feb of...

MissNicNick, Jun 2017
Did this package Feb of 2017! This tour package was basically 2 separate package combined into 1. The first thing we did was Snorkel. We got to drive our own little mini boat, following the guide way out to the middle of the ocean, which was so much fun and spectacular! It was just my friend and I and the guide. Very relaxing. After snorkeling we got to hangout by the pool/dry off at the snorkeling office which I thought was a nice touch...I suggest snacking on something from the nearby restaurant or mini mart during this time... We waited a bit for a van to come pick us up with the rest of the group for the 2nd part of the adventure ATV, Zipline and Cenote. Everyone at this mini park is friendly and nice! Action packed for sure. I did not care for the cenote here since it felt like any other water well/not a genuine cenote. The lunch that was provided, at the very end of everything, was a burrito of some sort that my friend and I did not care for...needless to say we were starving at the end of the long day we had haha. Overall it was fun, the adventure we had was jam-packed. Very much worth it for all the activities! TIPS: bring cash for : 1. snacks in between the 2 separate activities if you wish. or 2. if you wish to purchase the pictures they took of you at the atv, zipline, cenote place. I think all your pictures if was around 40?? on a usb. I don't remember at the moment sorry!

Chris B, Jun 2017
Important note, lunch is not served at lunch, but at the end of the day, around 5ish. The description says snorkeling at two reefs, we only went to one. Make sure that everyone can swim well and use a snorkel. I saw many people standing in and on the corals. There is a weight limit to the zip lines, which is 260 lbs. our trip did not include zip lines into or above a cenote. Beware the description is different from the trip. People were overall friendly. Atv drivers must also be 18 years old, so families with more kids than adults will need to send a kid with one of the guides.

The excursion was great. Would...

Stephanie P, Jun 2017
The excursion was great. Would definitely recommend. They picked us up from hotel lobby at 8:15. 1st was driving the 2 seater speed boat through the lagoon and what they call the jungle lol out to the middle of the ocean to snorkel. The only disappointment of the tour was the snorkeling because there was absolutely NOTHING to look at. No reefs, no tropical fish...nothing. The boat ride was relaxing tho and beautiful views through the passage ways. They charge an additional 10 docking fee so be sure to bring cash. Next the driver takes us to Buco de Puma along with 2 couples who took the tour 45 min drive to Puerto Morelos. We arrive and are given lunch which consisted of a rice and chicken burrito and rose water. Be sure to bring snacks! The tour doesn't end till 6pm. Even though u purchase 2 separate tours they only give you one four wheeler. If you don't want to share then you have to pay an additional 20. Recommend purchasing tours separately to avoid this cost. Locker rental is another 10. At this point the additional amount paid on top of the original purchase price is 40 not including tipping, cost of pictures if you purchase 40, and a souvineer t-shirt 20. The Atv's were fun but the tour guide was driving super slow to prevent us from getting on it and driving fast. Basically it was a 5mph ride through the woods that lasted for 30 min. At the end I couldn't wait for it to be over. There are 7 zip lines, the last you get to go upside down on. DO IT! It was AMAZING!!! Lastly was the cenote dark cave you get to swim in with a 60 foot hole beneath you. This was by far the best part of the excursion! The tour guides were friendly, funny and cool. Be sure to bring cash to tip. There is a camera guy following you the entire time taking pictures like the paparazzi. At the end they give you the option to purchase 1 pic for 20 or all the pics on a flash drive for 60. We bargained with him and the other couples that if we all purchase they have to give it to us for 40 otherwise none of us buy...our scheme worked! Definitely worth the money. I really wanted to cliff jump while I was there in Cancun but no places nearby and didn't find out until later that there is a cliff called El Cid right there in Puerto Morelos where we were. If you get a chance to do this, please post pics!!! This is an all day adventure, begins early and ends late. Also I bought a Go Pro off Amazon for 90 that allows you to video record and take pics and is waterproof. Definitely recommend purchasing one. Just be sure to buy attachments to strap to your head, wrist or chest. The staff allows you to even zip line upside dpwn with it attached to your helmet while recording. The excursion was EPIC. I would do it all over again 100x!!

This is a good trip to take while in...

Diana H, Apr 2017
This is a good trip to take while in the Cancun area. Like any trip, there are pros and cons. The pros: the boat ride to the snorkeling area was fun. The snorkeling and boating were great. The zip lining was absolutely worth it! The guys running the lines were efficient, friendly and seemed to love their jobs. The cons: our trip listing said snorkeling at two reefs. We only went to one and only snorkeled for about 30 minutes. As already stated, there is a lot of wait time so it would have been nice to snorkel longer than 30 minutes. At Boca del Puma we were told we would have one ATV for the two of us. A bit strange since we paid for two tickets. It would have been fine except that the machines are not set up for two riders. We were on one with the rear plastic baggage rack. The rough riding was really hard on the back and legs as they were hitting against the plastic rack with no way to adjust. There should be a second seat or remove the plastic rack. The web site also says riding a zip line into a cenote but that was not an option with this trip. So I wonder if different places are used? Maybe the site description should be more consistent with what will actually happen. We had a large group, so many folks were not able to actually view the photos before buying, as it was rushed when it was time to leave. It was a fun trip. The zip lining and snorkeling were the best! Be sure to read the other reviews about the extra cash needed AND bring snacks and water as we were picked up at 7:30 and had the burrito lunch at 5:00. Was very glad for the snacks that we brought.

Helen O, Apr 2017
This was one of the best adventures that I took! Each pair drove a small mini boat to the snorkel site. The crew were very nice and accommodating. There was some lag time in between each trip but it didn't deter the trip. Bring snacks! and bring cash you may want to buy pictures, snacks, drinks, locker space, etc.

JESSICAW_M, Apr 2017
Overall the tour was really good. There was an extremely long (45 minutes) break between the snorkeling excursion and the zip line and atv. It kind of killed the fun vibe we were having. Also the zip line, snorkeling and atv would have been more fun if there was something scenic about.

Paige K, Mar 2017
This trip was SO much fun! First you ride you ride your own speed boat to an area for snorkeling! about 15min there and 15min back. Then you take a shuttle to the location of the zipline, ATV, and cenote. You do wait around a lot once you get to this place, and lunch isn't until way later in the afternoon so bring snacks!!!! After your ziplining, ATV ride, and cenote swim they provide you with lunch-- ours was a burrito and flavored water. There are lockers that you can rent for a small fee and the option to purchase ATV insurance in case anything breaks during your ride. This trip is an all day excursion, so plan on an eventful day! The downside to this trip is that there is a lot of waiting around between activities. Pick up and drop off from your hotel is included, but the car that picked us up in the morning had absolutely no identification. It was just a black SUV and the driver did not have on a name tag or any indication that he was with our trip kind of sketchy. He brought us to the place no problem, but my friends and I were quite scared at first. Overall this trip is a great way to get a lot of activities done all in one day!

Marlon_I, Mar 2017
READ THE REVIEWS for tips to maximize the trip. We chose this as our family activity for our week in Cancun everyone was 18 and over. It is not for those who have small kids, difficulty with steps, climbing or afraid of heights! Do EVERYTHING in this adventure to make the most out of it there were other tourists at the ecopark who were NOT prepared to get wet for the cenote swim. It was a VERY FUN but long day pickup 8a and back 6:30p at our hotel. The guides for each activity were very friendly and helpful: LISTEN TO THEM. BE PREPARED: wear bathing suit, rash guard shirt and water shoes bring towels and dry clothes for the trip home bring eco-friendly sunblock/bug spray BRING snack/ENERGY bars. BRING DOCK money US10pp, LOCKER RENT US9: but you get 6 back, TIP money for snorkel guide US5pp and also for the eco-park staff: these are two different companies that handle the two parts of your day so tipping is separate as well. If you want to take pictures, bring water camera or GoPro. There is a small locker you can rent at the eco-park when you zipline/ATV/cenote swim. I would SUGGEST the following: the included meal should NOT be labeled as lunch which you expect at noon'ish since it will not be given to you until after ALL the activities are done which was 5pm. This AFTERNOON SNACK/meal consists of one burrito and glasses of hibiscus juice. You also get a small water bottle after snorkelling in the morning. Bring your own additional water bottle if you need to hydrate more you can refill before the zipline. There was a lot of waiting time in between activities---snorkel activity was first at Punta Nizuc then we waited about 45 minutes for our van pickup 12:10pm to head to Puerto Morelos. USE THIS TIME TO EAT LUNCH either takeout at nearby taco restaurant or bring your own sandwich. Your next meal won't be til around 5pm. We also waited around another 30-45 minutes after the day's activities were done so that everyone could review the photos taken by their photographers for purchase. We enjoyed it because we were PREPARED.

All in all, the tour was worthwhile...

Jessica_B, Mar 2017
All in all, the tour was worthwhile. The speed boating and snorkeling was a lot of fun and our favorite part of our trip. However, we did not spend the advertised 1.5 hours snorkeling 45 mins each at two spots. We went to one reef, which was beautiful and had a large amount of fish. We spent 35 minutes there and then returned left at 0905, got to snorkel spot at 0940, left at 1015. The speed boat ride is long and a lot of fun, but the limited time snorkeling was frustrating. Once we returned, we had to wait over an hour for the next part of the tour. I would have rather spent the time out on the water or started the tour an hour later rather than sit outside in the heat simply waiting. There is a pool you can swim in, but it is small and not what I was paying to do. We also had to pay 40 for 3 photos, which is ridiculously high. This included our photo on a beer, which is a neat idea, but the overall price was insulting. The second part of the tour is a 40 minute drive to the jungle where the ATV riding, cenote swimming and ziplining occurs. The ATV riding was exciting. The trail is difficult with lots of roots and rocks and hard turns. One of our ATV's broke during the ride. The wheel snapped off the axle. Thankfully, we were stopped and hitting the gas when this happened. If we had been moving when it had snapped, we would have been very seriously injured. They quickly got us a new ATV. The zip lining was a lot of fun, especially the upside down one! The workers are very friendly and make it even more fun. The Cenote swim was stunning. However, there was no zipline into the cenote where you can jump off or even a cliff to jump off as advertised. You can jump into the cenote, but its from the side and you jump off into the deep water. During this part of the tour, you can purchase all of the photos from the second part for 40 for two. This is reasonable as you get around 25 photos for the price. The listing needs to be updated to be more accurate.

John_s, Feb 2017
I gave it three stars for the following: the snorkeling was over one spot and it took about 45 minute small boat we drove, didn't know we were driving boats on this tour. The ATV's broke and were underpowered. The road was in really rough shape and very bumpy, never got above 10 mph. The Zipline was awesome and had a blast. The Cenote was very small and I thought it would be a lot bigger. I've done other Cenotes and this was the smallest. The lunch was one cold burrito...not at all tasty. the people were really friendly and did a good job, but for the money spent, i was expecting better. Go with the Catamaran cruise instead. John

Debora B, Feb 2017
More information needs to be given on the website about this trip. Was a confusing process for pick up at our hotel and we really didn't have anything explained to us as the transportation provided was a cab. We were dropped at a marina for snorkelling and drove speed boats around the bay. We waited for over an hour for our next transportation, which was better as it was explained what was going to happen. The trip got much better after that. The guides and hosts at the zip line and denote were excellent.

Amazing from start to finish, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I would suggest purchasing the pictures as well the photographer captured some great moments throughout the ATVs, Cenote swim and Zip lining and he is willing to take as many pictures as you want. They were all bilingual so no worries if you don't speak Spanish lol :.

This was one of my favorite tours...

This was one of my favorite tours!! The ATV, Zipline and Cenote swim are all in the same location called Boca del Puma. I give this part of the tour 5 stars The ATV course is a lot of fun however It takes a while to get the hang of it but when you do its awesome!!! Also, you will get dirty!! DO not wear any clothing you wouldn't mind getting mud on its apart of the experience especially your sneakers - I bought some water shoes and they were perfect for this activity because it was easy to remove the mud. This course lasts about 30 mins long and you follow a guide through the course. The zipline is a 6-line course where you can go upside down on the last one. Overall, fun experience : - Loved it ! The cenote swim was also amazing, at first it looks kind of scary since you go underground it was my first time however, DO IT! It was very refreshing and awesome : Although lunch is provided, we received the food at the end of all of our events around 4pm which isn't lunch for me. So bring a snack! The snorkeling was at different location- we were able to drive a speed boat to the location. The speed boat was absolutely the best and most intense thing on this tour. I suggest to bring sunglasses or something to cover your eyes while in the speed boat because a lot of water will be going into your eyes and the waves can be rough however your boat will not flip over so just keep going. The snorkeling was not so great in terms of what we saw, we saw some coral and about 5 fish not what I was expecting but maybe it was just that specific day. My only suggestion or heads up is that we were done snorkeling at around 10:30 AM and our pickup to Boca Del Puma was at 12:00 AM, so we just had to wait. Instead we just walked about 10 mins north and there was a little mall Mc Donalds, Pizza and we just hanged around there.
