The tour guide was very rushed and didn't explain anything.
Was always on her mobile phone and left us to our own devices even though this was a private, guided tour.

I loved this tour! Andrew, the Egyptologist guide, was really great - full of interesting facts about everything we saw from the Pyramids and Sphinx to Cairo in general as we drove from my hotel to Giza . Also he gave a great briefing about how to deal with the souvenir sellers which meant I wasn't troubled at all.
The Pyramids and Sphinx were awe-inspiring and I chose to go inside the Great Pyramid which was incredible, if a little cramped :-
As a female travelling alone I would definitely recommend this tour, felt very safe and was a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you!

This was the perfect tour for me, a woman in my mid-seventies traveling alone. It was nice that I was the only one on the tour as I could spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each location. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. It was like taking the tour with an Egyptologist. It is impossible to describe what it is like to see the pyramids for the first time. Even though I saw them with my own eyes and touched the stones with my own hands I still could not believe I was actually there. I even went down inside one of the pyramids..... not for the squeamish or the claustrophobic. After visiting the pyramids and the sphinx, we stopped at a papyrus store in Giza. If you do this, bring your credit card because you will want to buy everything. Then the tour guide took me to a shop that specialized in metal objects because I told him I was looking for a very specific metal plate. I spotted exactly what I wanted as soon as we walked in the shop. I could not have been more satisfied with this whole adventure.

We booked very last minute, but South Sinai Travel accommodated our request. Our tour guide Ahmed was wonderful, he was very warm and made us feel welcome and safe as we toured the pyramids and the Sphinx.

Had my first visit to Egypt recently for business but I managed to get a day off so that I could see the sights. After looking at a few operators I decided upon viator and I wasn't disappointed. Received a text the night before to confirm who my guide would be and what time we were to meet. My guide was excellent, very informative, patient and spoke excellent English. The tour itself was great, extensive tour of the pyramids and sphinx as well as an optional camel ride which although touristy was really good fun. I also opted to have an extended tour of the Egyptian museum which was not to be missed. Really great tour that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Manar and Ivraim were the BEST!!! traveled solo for work and wanted full day tour of cairo, but safety was a concern. After visiting Cairo, I will never think about safety again. I never felt anything but safe.
Manar was waiting for me lobby and I could immediately tell I was in good hands. We visited the famous souk and neighboring streets with beautiful architecture, the Cairo museum, local shops of my choosing I choose essential oils but there were 5 options then a wonderful authentic lunch were I got to dress in Egyptian garb, then the pyramids and sphinx, followed by a camel ride. It was such a wonderful day that I will never forget!
Manar was super intelligent, well spoken english, and an expert in Egyptian history, architecture, and culture.
Our driver, Ivraim was always close by which was impressive since he wasnt allowed to stay parked in front of most places. He is also very kind and friendly.
Cant wait to use this company again!!!! I highly recommend!!

A great tour to see one of the wonders of the world. would have been even better if the transport and guide had been on time. The Guide said he was there but couldn't find us but as he was not carrying any sign he was just another guest to us.
We lost 40 minutes wandering around trying to find him and eventually gave up and just sat in the lobby not a good start and definitely not what we have come to expect form Viator who have never let us down in the past.

We booked a morning tour and it was HOT HOT HOT - but your in Giza! The guide was terrific even when I requested we alter the tour a little. As I have visited Giza before, my grandchildren both wanted to ride camels and visit the other side of the pyramids. He arranged for us to book this with one of the local camel vendors and they had an awesome time on this excursion- they also loved they way he told them the stories of ancient Egypt and the east and the west. They are both wanting to return and spend more quality time in the area.

The pictures of this area are well known and don't disappoint when you see them up close. The sphinx and the pyramids leave you wondering how they could have been built. Picture taking is a breeze!

Great guide, sorry cant remember his name but had been with the company for many years. He took us to the sphinx first and we had the whole place to ourselves for over an hour!! He also recommended going into one of the smaller queen's pyramids, which are free, instead of paying to go into lager pyramids since there really isn't anything to see inside of them. Hotel pick up and drop off was no issue, and van had a/c.

Firstly, my booking with Viator was at the last moment just 10 hours before the schedule and I really really appreciate your super fast response in arranging a guide immediately in the morning as we did not have much time in Cairo. In terms of the cost, I would say it was very expensive for the kind of tour that was planned, however the guide was excellent, the private car was in excellent condition. but was not great value for money.

The tour guide Ahmed was knowledgeable and friendly. Allowed us to go at our own pace. Highlight was camel ride to the Sphinx (which he helped negotiate at a fair price). Definitely recommend.

The trip went very well. Ahmed, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable and respectful. He took care of all of the negotiating for the camel ride and attractions. Everything was great since this was my first trip to Cairo and wasn't sure what to expect.

Had a fantastic time visiting the Pyramids with our guide Ahmed. He had a wealth of information regarding Egyptian Antiquity and was a nice guy too. The driver Zaki was also very good. I would definitely recommend taking a tour rather than visiting alone as you get bothered by the touts and hawkers a lot less.

The tour guide was nice fairly knowledgeable he contradicted himself at times when stating facts and pleasant. Some items that concerned me- he asked a great deal of personal questions- how old are you? Are you married, do you live alone- I found that intrusive. The stop at the Papyrus location is a tourist trap- mention of no pressure to purchase anything however, the woman I was placed with at a counter, to hear her speech gave me a paper and pen, then followed me around the place, trying to convince me to purchase items I honestly did not need. Even the tour guide acted surprised when I was ready to leave, empty handed. The information and stops were good just a little taken back by the above.

The best part of our tour. Drivers were very skilled at getting through the Cairo streets and outlying areas. We waited a long time to see the Sphinx and Giza Pyramids. It was awesome! Ahmad was our tour guide, spoke very good English and was very funny and knowledgeable. Thanks for a wonderful vacation. We couldn't have done it without Viator!

Fabulous Trip - Our guide Ahmed Kamal was very knowledgeable, passionate about egypt and egyptology and had a great sense of humpour. We had an easy rapport with him and nothing was a problem. He gave us great advice on how to deal with the touts, children etc and ensured that we were well looked after and that all our questions were answered.

Mohammad our tour guide was exceptional. His depth of knowledge and skill in teaching about the pyramids made this one of the best tours we have ever taken. I would highly recommend asking for him specifically. He puts his knowledge over in an easy to understand way. Great value in my opinion.

Tour was very good, my guide had lots of theories and knowledge of the pyramids and Sphinx. I really enjoyed that.
He took me to the camel ride but I must say it did feel like a set up because when I asked what was a good price he said as you like. It seemed like that he was getting a cut which I don't mind but it was almost as much as the tour and then the camel walker started begging me for money as soon as I was far away enough that I couldn't walk back. That was not appreciated.
However the tour itself was wonderful.
