Our tour guides were amazing. We did buy new scarfs to put on our face and head. Overall great experience. Would definitely love to do this with a group.

We had a great morning on this tour. They picked us up from the hotel and drove us there. As it’s low season, we were the only family on our tour. Daniel was our amazing guide! We went up the dry riverbed and saw burros, horses and goats, found some water to drive through and ended on the beautiful beach. And an ample tequila tasting after. Great morning, I highly recommend this tour.
The tour was amazing. Pictures were amazing. Everything was just AMAZING! tequila was bomb too! Highly recommended
It was a fun time! Hated all the extra costs once we got there. They wanted us to purchase insurance with the extra $25 per person for park fee. Totaling $500 on top of the $550 I already paid for the group to go. They’re not up front with all this at booking. Then they wanted $350 for photos they took. Too much pressure was put on us.
Best in Cabo 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend. I would definitely when I come back to Cabo will come out to Aja. Tours did a fantastic job. Kept a safe and the sites were amazing.
We were excited to do this tour and it turned out to be even better and more fun than we expected! We had a larger group w/ kids so we upgraded the vehicles so we could all go together. We started on the beach then went way back into the canyon. It was very cool! We took lots of pictures up on the big boulders and explored for awhile. Then we went back to the beach and drove up and around for awhile while the sun got lower in the sky. Daniel and Pork Chop (our guides!) kept checking on us to make sure we were being safe, seeing everything and having fun. They also took pictures and videos throughout the tour as well! We had the perfect timing and views for a gorgeous sunset! Then when we got back to the main area, tequila tasting was definitely fun and (mostly) delicious. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience, everyone from Rey, Jose Cuervo, and the tequila tasting man (sorry forgot his name). Ivan was also great as the shuttle driver.
Such a cool route that they have you drive and I would definitely think about booking this again. We rode the ATV double and it was actually pretty comfortable. Wasn't a single time that I felt like I was in any danger driving and it was my first time driving an ATV.
Real Baja Tours ATV Experience
Real Baja Tours was one of the highlights of our trip!
My husband loves ATV tours, but on almost every vacation we’ve had to skip them because we exceed the posted weight limits. This company never listed any weight limits anywhere we could find, so we decided to book. I was fully expecting we’d either be turned away or asked to upgrade when we arrived.
Instead, the experience was amazing from start to finish.
Although Viator didn’t allow us to book transportation, I messaged Real Baja Tours the night before. At 6:00 p.m., they quickly added us to the pickup list for our 7:15 a.m. pickup the next morning.
When we arrived, we immediately noticed they use large 500cc single ATVs, not the smaller machines many companies use. They also offered us the option to upgrade to a private tour in Polaris side-by-sides, but since I like riding slower, we chose a private ATV tour instead.
We were fitted with helmets, goggles, and bandanas, and each rode our own ATV. At no point did either of us feel too large or out of place. That alone made this experience incredibly special.
Another huge bonus was that they allowed us to keep our phones and take photos during the stops. Every other company we looked into prohibited phones.
After the ride, everyone was invited to a tequila tasting, and it was a lot of fun. The host was hilarious, knowledgeable, and kept the experience entertaining. Best of all, there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything afterward. That said, the tequila was genuinely excellent, and quite a few people in our group ended up purchasing bottles because they wanted to, not because they felt obligated.
Our guide, Junior, was fantastic. He was friendly, patient, and made the entire experience fun and relaxed.
If you’re a plus-size traveler who has been told “no” by other ATV companies, I highly recommend Real Baja Tours. It was such an incredible feeling to enjoy an adventure that our size has often kept us from experiencing.
Overall really fun. Drawbacks: The check in took a really long time, and while the tour said 2 hours on Viator, it ended up being about 4 hours not counting the trips to and from the hotels. They also charge a $25/person park fee, so the trip was a bit pricey compared to others. Still would recommend.
Overall the experience was awesome! I would recommend doing a private tour is you have a big group! Originally we planned on going with the group that was there but it was over 20 people! We decided to do the private tour and we were able to go super fast, have more freedom, and not be stuck behind super slow people!
Just make sure to bring a card or USD for the park entrance of $25. They will try to sell you into upgrades and insurance but you can deny them all it’s not needed!
You also can bring your phone on the ATV and a small bag! They have a mini compartment on the ATV you can put your things in.
At the end the tequila tasting was fun and we tried around 6 different tequilas!
Transportations with pick you up and drop you off so you don’t need to worry about an uber!
It is a lot more expensive than advertised by Viator. In addition to the $75 advertised cost, when you arrive, they charge you for individual ATV, insurance, park fees, and an additional 16% tax if you pay the additional fees with a credit card. The additional costs ranged from $127 - $193.
The meeting location option that offered and confirmed pick up from cruise port, changed the night before the excursion with limited information. Although we eventually figured out the correct pick up location, it was stressful, despite asking for an address and receiving no response from Baja Tours and Viator.
Once you get past the meeting location debacle and the increase in additional costs onsite, the actual ATV experience was enjoyable due to our guide Alberto. With our group of 11, we opted to have a private guide, which was Alberto. And yes, there was an additional $150 fee for the private guide. Bring lots of money and or a credit card to be prepared for the bait and switch.
Last, the driver who picked us up was not friendly at all. During the 40 minute ride to the park, he never greeted us…no exaggeration. The same was true for the ride back to the pickup location.
I rated this experience a 3-star because of Alberto. If I was to rate Alberto alone, he would be 5-stars.
Terrible experience — avoid this tour provider.
I booked the Cabo Migrino Beach and Desert ATV Tour through Viator, and the experience was extremely disappointing. My scheduled pickup time was 10:30 AM, and we arrived at the port at 10:05 AM. I was told the driver had already left and that I needed to take an Uber to the location — even though transportation was included in the price I paid.
I reluctantly agreed and used the address provided through the Viator app, but the address was incorrect. After the provider spoke with the Uber driver in Spanish (which I did not understand), the driver then told me I needed to pay additional cash to go to another location. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and like I was being pressured into paying extra money.
I decided not to continue and paid for another Uber to take me back to the port. What made this even worse is that I later found other customers reporting similar issues with this provider, yet they are still refusing to refund my money.
This was not the experience I paid for. I would not recommend this company to anyone — especially travelers who expect reliable transportation and honest communication.
Riding the ATVs was super fun. There is an additional $25 per person park fee they don’t tell you about. The process to get going was slow and felt disorganized, also they try to sell you on a lot of upgrades.
It was organized well and we were picked up from our hotel. Little bit of a ride to get there. Once you get there they try to upsell you. We decided to move up to a razor. Lots of fun and our guide was very good. Afterwards just wanted to get back and tale a shower but had to sit through tequila tasting. Of course they want you to buy some. Some people enjoyed it but if you just wanted to get back afterwards not happening.
From start to finish, the experience was great! We loved seeing the desert and beach while on the ATVs.
Upsale everything once you get there. Their machines are relatively well used, guide was very good. It was a good experience felt like we could have stopped at a couple more locations for photos. Have been on better 4 wheel tours.
The ATVs were a lot of fun and driving next to the Pacific Ocean was really great!! Our guide was very educational about the area we were in riding in! The tequila tasting was a great plus!!
Me and my two girls had a blast with Daniel as our guide. They are a super safe and full service tour company. Love that they picked me up at te hotel. Will for sure do it again next year.
This was the highlight of our entire trip. Our guide Daniel was absolutely phenomenal — knowledgeable, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident from start to finish. We rode through stunning Baja desert, rugged mountain trails, and came out at the most beautiful stretch of Pacific coastline. The contrast of desert to ocean is something you have to see to believe.
And the tequila tasting at the end? The perfect way to celebrate an epic ride. 🥃
To top it all off, we got professional photos and videos that captured every moment — so we could just be fully present and enjoy the experience without worrying about our phones. Those memories are priceless.

We hated arriving at the park. For 45 minutes we were upselled. They charged park fees (read the full details of your reservation) $100 for the group and wanted to charge $400 more for a different vehicle (they showed us a few) Then we want to upgrade the bandana and stress about waiving insurance.
Best ATV experience that I've had so far. Esteban was so passionate and caring about our safety and experience. So nice to be able to go through the desert and beach. So much fun 10/10!!
The experience was a BLAST! Just be aware that the end to end experience took four hours, even though it says two hours when booking. That being said, everyone was fantastic, couldn’t have been nicer, super helpful. Our guide Esteban was fantastic. He made the adventure really fun while keeping an eye out towards safety by explaining everything completely. Will certainly do this adventure again on our next visit. Highly recommended!!!
The shuttle driver was bomb ass. The ride was fantastic. I felt free! The tequila tasting was off the charts. Fun & Yum!
Javier was amazing and I recommend him every time. We paid for the extra insurance just to be safe. We were able to go super fast. This was the fastest I’ve ever been on an ATV. The scenery was amazing! They offered upgrades but they weren’t pushy which is what I liked. They got amazing photos and videos too. Definitely will come back and the tequila tasting was a blast. Bought 2 baby makers lol
Everything was perfect! We got transportation from Cabo Azul in San Jose to Migrano beach. The tour was about 2hrs plus the tequila tasting. 10/10 recommend it!
This was a great experience! Really worth the money! Only thing g is when you get there have to pay $25 entry fee and optional insurance for the ATV is $25 which is really worth it. They do have alot of rocks out there and it can potentially damage the machine.
This experience was amazing! The staff were incredible! They were very nice and accommodating. They also provided round trip transportation and they were on time picking us up from our hotel. I would definitely book with them again!
It was great experience from our driver Joel ,and our tour guide Alberto was very informative and gave a 10/10 experience ,overall it was a super Fun ride and I would recommend this company!!
Super fun & was our family’s favorite excursion in Cabo. Great for teens & highly recommend. The guides are great (& you can have a private group for $150 more to go at your own pace vs going with a group of 20+ ppl )
10/10 super fun and José was a great guide, super considerate and we even saw whales jumping! I def recommend but bring a long sleeve shirt or sunscreen bc u are under the sun constantly!
The tequila tasting was so fun and the person was super sweet, lots of different flavors to try and was really yummy.
What a fantastic company! We were very delayed getting from ship to shore and Baja Tours was able make sure we got picked up safely and able to enjoy our tour AND get back to our ship before the last tender left. Outstanding customer service and excellent communication throughout. Can’t recommend this tour enough!!
