You don't have to travel to the middle east to experience a camel ride. As the tour guide, Raul, said "Welcome to Cabo Dubai." My son and I enjoyed the camel ride along Migrino beach. It was smooth and beautiful. Such a great memory for us. Highly recommend and ask for Raul. He was such a great tour guide.

Private Camel Ride

I’ve been to many excursion facilities is different countries, but this is the cleanest one by far! I highly recommend spending a whole day here to ATV, UTV, horseback ride, camel ride, or bike ziplining! We only chose the camel ride because we wanted a small, calm experience which they delivered. David Zantina was our tour guide and he was amazing! He stayed with us for the whole experience making sure we were comfortable and having a great time! I asked him many questions about the camels and they are being well taken care of! Half of the caravan has the day off while the other half work and they swap out every other day! You have the opportunity to purchase photos after, eat a meal, and try some tequila! The only difference with a private tour is that you can take your own photos and videos while you’re on the 30 minute camel ride.

Beware of the hidden costs

This place feels excessively profit-driven, with extra charges for nearly everything—parking, insurance, and other services—all at steep prices. To make matters worse, photography and videography are not allowed. Overall, the experience simply does not justify the cost.

We will never be booking...

We will never be booking with this company/through this site combined. We booked a 2pm slot months in advance, and never received any communication on pick up time. So I therefore had to email the company to find out about pick up and was told that our slot wasn’t available so we would have to move times but COULDNT get a refund. Following this we were also told in the same email an additional $25 was needed to even enter the park in order to do the tour…which should have just been included in the price! Once arrived, we were THEN told that the only accept cash as well as we cannot use cell phones at all. This is obviously so they can over charge you $20/terrible picture and our actually tour didn’t start until 45min after the already pushed time.

Scammers, Stay Away!

We had booked a previous tour and we explained to them how it was running late they said no problem we can reschedule until the following day, so we did. They didn’t inform us it was a four hour four because they had to do all the pick ups and returns. I told them we had an international flight and we couldn’t risk the four hours, they told me okay, you can add an additional $250 and make it private. We agreed. The bus arrived, we got there the next day and they asked for an additional $450 dollars saying that $250 was for the private transportation. And, the $450 is for your entrance fee. I said to them what about the $250 I pass the previous day, they said that money was no longer valid. They say Mexico is known for its scammers and they try to cheat the Americans out of their money, this is one company that did just that! They charged me in US dollars by the way not Pesos! Stay away, they’re liars and cheaters from start to finish. I booked parasailing off the beach the previous day, and they were significantly cheaper and more honest than these people. They say book with a reputable tour company to avoid being cheated, and that’s all these people did. Stay away!

Money Grab!

A 1 hour camel ride excursion turned into 5-6hrs of being baited to buy this or that! The excursion was for 2pm. We were picked up at 1:45pm, we were dropped off at 6:30pm. The actual camel ride itself was about 20mins tops! They try to upsell everything you can think of! Pictures are $150. You can't take your cell phone unless you pay extra. It was not worth the initial $200, plus a $25 per person entry fee. Can't recommend at all. Everyone was frustrated and ready to go!

This activity is NOT 1 hour as it is mentioned. It takes at least 30 minutes to drive to the location from the pickup point. They should mention this clearly. If you have other activity planned, ensure that you allocate at least 3 hours for this. Be aware that there is a $25 USD per head park entrance fee (that is mentioned in the description) The camel experience in itself was great. Our guide Cesar was knowledgeable, funny, and very responsive to our questions/needs. The buffet had great choices -- fruits, pastries, yogurt etc for non meat eaters. The tequila tasting was good - Baltazar was an excellent host. I wish we had more time to spend there -- unfortunately we had to run out.

They refused to allow us to take our iphones, so we left them behind. They informed us they would take pictures. Reality….everyone but us had there cell phones out taking pictures. The pictures the company took were terrible. So we have no pics. The ride is only about 15 minutes, we wasted another 2 hours waiting around.

Bit of a let down. Took almost 2 hours to get to this random piece of beach that they claimed was somehow special or different than the others. It was not. Plus they stick you with a $25 per person fee on top of the almost $100 per head to ride a camel for 30mins and eat a burrito. They offered tequila tasting and we declined as there was nothing novel or interesting to try. Took another almost 2 hours to get home. There has to be a better option people. This was not it.

First be prepared to pay the $25 extra per person upon arrival, it’s not optional. I wish they’d just charge it in the beginning. The private camel experience was awesome. Our guide, Billy, was the reason I gave this 5 stars otherwise it was 4. The facility is beautiful, I loved seeing the animals in clean housing and good health. You can tell they really love the animals. The camel ride was beautiful along the coast. The pictures were a nice option but the angles were so unflattering that none of us wanted them. The food after was just ok. A little bland and for sure more for basic tourists, wish it was a little more authentic. The stores had beautiful clothes, just wish they had a little AC for the changing rooms as it was hot enough it made changing un-appealing. The tequila tasting was fun and all the tequilas were great! Finished off with a margarita from their bar before the ride back to town. Overall would do it again, especially if we could request Billy!

Was very unhappy did not get to ride camel which was scheduled on our last day in Mexico. Was scheduled for pick up at 4pm driver did not arrive until after 5pm. Then we arrived had to take a breathalyzer ( we are staying at an all inclusive and the site say they also give shots) very upset and will be reaching out to my bank for refund.

Our camel ride adventure was excellent. Billy was our guide and did a wonderful job to engage with everyone in our group and make it fun for all. We are in our 70’s and were worried about whether we should do this or not. Absolutely recommend, no issues at all as far as getting on and off the camel.

Cactus tours was very organized and picked us up on time. We booked online through Viator and they sent the confirmation number and pick up time right after the booking was confirmed. No problems at all. The property was beautiful. Billy was our tour guide and he was great and made things fun! He was well versed in English and of course Spanish. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Billy even took us on a little walking tour after the Camel ride. I would highly recommend this company.

We really enjoyed the ride along the beach, the food was great, it was a bit scary taking the ride in the middle of now where, but it turned out to be a great facility the people were nice, and the food was great as well. Enjoyed and I would recommend.
