The cactus tours of utv and camel ride facility and area was beautiful and efficient, very impressive. What was not so good was the spot viator told us to wait at which was “Caboland “ store. The shop people gave no confirmation we were in right place. NO viator rep was there to greet us no cactus person no one was there. No sign no flag no nothing !!!!! Several buses and vans and taxis in same spot in front of “caboland store with no communication to guest waiting trying to figure out which transportation to even get on soooo poorly at the meeting place.

Overall we had a good time on the ATV and camel combo tour. We opted for the private tour which seemed worth it. Even though you can take your own photos on the private tour, the guide is not allowed to take any photos for you at all. They still want to push you to purchase their photo packages. We also upgraded our ATV’s to bigger models which included the insurance supposedly. With all the fees and upgrades we spent and additional $489 n top of the tour reservation cost online. So almost $900 for 3 people, which to be honest, seems way overpriced for what you get. But overall we enjoyed the activities and went in to it knowing about the extra fees so we weren’t caught off guard.

I read all the reviews and folks were spot on. Pack your patience because you average a 30 minute wait time for everything once you arrive at Cactus Tours... starting with check in. Bring cash or ask to pay via PayPal or Zelle, if you don't want to pay extra due to their peso conversion. My husband and I plus our 12 and 14 year old children declined their medical insurance. We paid $250 ($269.88 after the pesos conversion) for the $150 private tour + $25/person park fee. Then we had a $750 ($809.65 after the pesos conversion) hold on our credit card for insurance verses paying the non refundable $45 insurance charge per vehicle. This hold is supposed to refunded in 7-10 business days. I purposely used a credit card to dispute the charge, should it not fall off. Our last expense was $40 ($43.18 after the pesos conversion) for 4 scarves for the AT V ride. We also wore them on our heads when wearing the helmets and borrowing their white head wraps during the camel ride. Our private guide Mauro was great. He gave us time to take our own pictures; but could not take any of us. I also saw him tip the gentleman who walked our camels on the beach while we rode, so that alone warranted a tip from us. The Mexican Paparazzi was out there and captured shots of us as well. $149 for only 7 out of 30 pictures that we liked wasn't worth it for us. We did get 3 - 0.5 oz tequila samples and had to ask for the included bottled water when we checked out. The ATV tour was 1 hour including safety gear the shuttle. The camel ride was only about 25 minutes; but peaceful. The rest of the time was us taking pictures and feeding the baby camel. Total tour time, including round trip transport to OXXO was 5.5 hours.

I spent $361.79 for 4 tickets to do combo ATV & camel ride. When we arrived we were charged an additional $450.00 because they automatically give you manual ATV's if you don't know how to drive a manual you have to pay an extra $50 per person for automatic and $25 per person for entrance fees. $150 for photos because you can't take your own pictures. I spent on total $810.79. This is disgusting to charge people like that. My overall experience riding the ATV and camel was fun, I was truly upset about the cost. Don't believe them when they say it's and hour for each activity because its not.

We had a fun time, but we were not aware of several additional charges - ie. $75 entrance fee, $200 charge for photos and videos, etc. They do not allow phones (free of charge), so if you’d like to capture any memories, you’re kind of stuck paying the $200 charge.

The best experience of my life thus far! Pay the extra $150 for the private tour. It’s so worth it, and you can bring your phone to take your own pics and videos. Then the tequila tasting to top it all off!!! Definitely bought some tequila!

This was an amazing excursion! Our tour guide was so awesome and when I felt unsafe and uncomfortable on the ATVs (because of anxiety reasons), Mr. Ochoa got me back to the general area with no issues. Camels were calm and customer service was great. Thank you for the accommodations!

This was so much fun! Emmanuel was such a wonderful tour guide! The atv and camel ride by the beach was gorgeous with the ocean and waves crashing into the shore. We even saw some whales on our camel ride! We felt very safe during this trip and would go back again with our family!
