The tour meets in downtown Cabo San Lucas outside the entrance of Starbucks across the street from the famous Squid Roe nightclub. Everyone comes hungry so we leave right on time. Guides arrive 5 minutes prior with cold waters.

This tour was an incredible way to experience the world of Cabo beyond the scenic beaches and tourist traps. Our tour guide (Robin) provided tons of interesting information and tips about local restaurants and experiences even beyond the tour itself. All of the stops provided something truly unique with none being comparable to each other. We have visited Mexico and done food tours in the past but Robin’s tour was more authentic and unique than any other experience we’ve had. Booking this tour provides not only great food but an opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the people who are making and eating it everyday.

You will go th several locations that have great tacos. There is a good amount of walking involved. It’s a good way to experience Cabos near little taco places.

Get off the beaten path with this tour… leave the Marina and El Squid Roe behind along with all the tourist traps! Javier led us on a great walk and eat tour. We’re scheduled for the noon slot and they pushed it back to 5:30 which was a life saver for sure as July is a bit warm to do this tour mid day… would totally do this one again food was amazing and learning about ingredient local sourcing and family run restaurants was again off the beaten trail.

The owner and tour guide was great. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the culture. The tacos were great, as well as the restaurant owners. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We were the only people on the early tour, so it was a private and personal experience. Robin was very engaging and delightful tour guide. We had five stops on the tour, each one was delicious and Robin had the back story on each place, it was fascinating to get her take on each one. If you want a food tour this is THE one. The different types of tacos were thoroughly explored - guisadoes (try the cactus), birria (don’t forget to dip), pastor, carnitas, and mole. And to end it all - churros! Robin is the perfect guide and very knowledgeable about the food and the total Cabo experience.

My family of 4 had a wonderful taco excursion with Robin. She was so friendly, informative and loved her positive energy. She took us around a part of Cabo with some of the best tacos around. We tried birria, carnitas, squash blossoms, mole and shrimp tacos. We also sampled some ice cream and churros. Overall it was a great tour and highly recommend it. Great for kids too!

A great tour, I loved the small group size and the tour guides were phenomenal.
Due to the small size and the walking tour, we were able to visit some unique restaurants that most larger groups would have had to pass over.

What a great experience to taste real tacos made by the locals - delicious, and Jonathan was an excellent and educated guide! Glad we got some history along with some yummy and variety of tacos 🌮... don’t miss this tour if you come to Cabo! Mezcal was a bonus 👍
