Experience Busan’s seafood scene like a local during a custom small-group dinner. Begin with a visit to a traditional fish market to observe an array of different sea creatures and select which you’d like to have for dinner. Then, go to your host’s home and watch them prepare the dish right before your eyes. Throughout the evening, you’ll also learn about Korean food and drinking culture.

Don’t just eat traditional food in Korea, learn to make it too during this private, customizable Bujeon market tour and home cooking class. Benefit from the personalized attention of your local host, as you pick up techniques and skills which will last longer than any souvenir, including recipes for several lesser-known Korean dishes. We only harvest and use vegetables from March to October at the rooftop garden. This is because the weather is cold from November to February. We have a class while watching the chef's demonstration. We learn 2 dishes. We make tofu stew with soft tofu and Korean pancakes with vegetables. We also make dipping sauce. We eat after we make it.

Our tea ceremony offers a rare opportunity to slow down in a quiet seaside village, where guests can experience Oriental tea culture in a peaceful setting. Every session is carefully curated, combining tea, story, and calm hospitality to help guests reconnect with themselves through the art of tea. Guests are also invited to enjoy a selection of unique teaware, each piece selected to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the experience. In East Asian tradition, tea was often enjoyed alongside poetry, painting, and calligraphy — the gentle arts cherished by tea lovers. Drawing inspiration from this cultural heritage, our ceremony includes a calligraphy activity where guests can express their tea experience through brush and ink. This thoughtful practice not only adds a creative dimension to the session, but also offers a tangible keepsake that captures the spirit of stillness and reflection.

Many foreigners only know Busan is the second largest city and the largest port city in Korea. Not many people know that there is a large oyster farm near Busan and that a large amount of oysters are produced every year. We will take a city bus from Hadan Station to an island village near Busan. We will look around villages that produce oysters and take pictures to remember. As you look around the village, you will see various tools used for oyster farming. You can also see the workers doing the oyster shucking When you travel, what you can't miss is eating food that you can taste locally. Near the fishing village, there is a restaurant that serves various foods under the theme of oysters. We will taste fresh oyster food at the restaurant. While enjoying the food, I will explain about the Korean food culture and drinking culture.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about and make your own makgeolli! This is the only English-speaking makgeolli making class in Busan. The class is perfect for anyone interested in Korean food and alcohol, history and culture, and fermentation. No previous brewing experience is required – we provide you with everything you need to make your own makgeolli! The host is a professional brewer who worked in food and beverage in the US and studied traditional alcohol under Korean master brewers. At our makgeolli studio close to Gwangalli Beach, we will introduce different types of Korean alcohol as well as what makes them different from other rice-based alcohols. We also provide a tasting of various types so you can try them for yourself! We will then make makgeolli, from the processing of rice to incorporating enzymes unique to Korean alcohol. After making your own batch, you will have the option to take home a container to keep brewing or a bottle of makgeolli to take home!
