This was one of our highlights from the holiday. An outstanding and well organised and timed excursion from our ship and I recommend it to anyone instead of the ships excursion. Our tour guide William was excellent. We had a great day seeing as much of Busan as possible.

Super tour with wonderful tour guides Fiona and Taylor. They made sure we saw all the important sites that could be squeezed into our ship’s port time, took us to a traditional Korean meal and helped my kids buy things in the shops. Really friendly, helpful, and informative.

Everything was great! Our driver/guide Young picked us up on time and, after collecting the other tour group members, we headed off on a very full day. Many miles were covered. Busan is larger than expected with many contrasts: the beaches, the temple, the modern city, the port, Gamcheon and of course the markets. We highly recommend this tour.

Small group was great. Lots of attention for each of us which meant answers to the myriad of questions we had. DK was the perfect guide. Great English. Asked what we really wanted to see and took us there. Very knowledgeable. 8 hours or so is really what you need. My high lite was the fish market. Crazy crazy.

I enjoyed the tour. I debated cancelling and just taking the ship's shuttle, but I'm glad I didn't as th ship's shuttle drop off spot was less interesting to me than all of the other places that we went to. There were ship excursions at most of the places we went but massive tour groups. You can see a lot more for way less $ with a tour like this.

I didn’t have a lot of time to explore Busan and I was very happy with what we were able to cover across one day. We had the great Jade and it was indeed a great day! His excellent commentary combining history and other information about Busan alongside more local cultural info and insights about life in Busan and Korea was an excellent blend. Small group tour gave plenty of time for more conversation and questions. The day was really relaxed, not rushed, Jade went to trouble to make sure we had some good options for lunch and set us up. Lunch was excellent (do the king crab at the seafood market if it’s your thing!). Time also to wander and make some purchases which was really appreciated. Highly recommend. Alison

This was a great way to start our time in Busan. Our guide was born and raised in the city, and he had several great insights that made our exploration even better, encompassing its wartime struggles, postwar growth and current lifestyles during the various stops on our tour. We sampled great local food at the market, learned about the fishing industry and film festival, and strode the streets of Gamcheon before we were done.

This was an excellent full-day tour and one of the highlights of my trip to South Korea. It covered an impressive variety of Busan’s most famous attractions: from the colorful streets of Gamcheon Culture Village to the Songdo Skywalk and Cable Car, ending with the beautiful Haedong Yonggungsa Temple overlooking the sea. The itinerary was well planned, giving me enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed.
A special thank you to our guide, DK, who was fantastic throughout the day. He was friendly, organized, and very knowledgeable, sharing interesting historical background, local legends, and practical tips that made each location even more meaningful. He kept the group on schedule while still creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, and he was always happy to answer questions or help take photos.
As someone visiting Busan for the first time, I appreciated not having to worry about transportation or logistics. Everything ran smoothly, and I was able to simply enjoy the scenery and learn more about the city. The combination of cultural landmarks, breathtaking coastal views, and local history made this a very memorable experience.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Busan who wants to experience the city’s most iconic sights in a single day. Thanks again to DK for making it such a wonderful day!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience on this perfectly planned tour! DK was one of the best guides I’ve ever had on any excursion. He was incredibly communicative and provided the perfect blend of history and important facts. His ability to keep the tour on schedule was impressive, and most importantly, he ensured I returned to the port well in advance of the gangway up. Highly recommend!

Recommend more than one bottle of water as the day was very hot. Also would be nice to turn on the cars A/C before we got in due to the heat.

This was a great way to get to know Busan. Our local guide, Jino, was incredible. There was another couple of with us and we had a great time. The highlights were the restaurant Jino took us and the fish market.

We had a great day in Busan with our tour guide Anthony (Chae Haeun). We were travelling with two young kids and Chae Haeun was very patient with them. He also helped my husband with his heavy back pack and was very considerate. My kids have food allergies and he helped communicate them to the restaurant when we were ordering lunch. He also adjusted the itinerary to make it more suitable and interesting for the kids. Bk our tour organiser was kind enough to organise car seats for the kids and was great at keeping in touch with important information.

The service of picking up at hotel is appreciated and very convenient. Tour guide is friendly and enjoyed his guide. Loved the cultural (temple and the Gamcheon Vilkage) and the APEC sites. Like to hear more of the details AMA’s history on some items. The traditional seafood market is eye opening. Overall, an enjoyable and easy day trip.

Scott was great! The weather clearly didn’t get the memo about our plans, but he adapted everything on the fly and somehow turned a rainy day into a fantastic one. We were on the go until the very last minute and never felt like we were missing out.

Such a great full day your in Busan with Sang as our guide! Sang absolutely made the day memorable as he provided his personal insight and experience with all things Korea. We especially enjoyed the tour and lunch at the Jagalchi fish market. Sang curated the lunch from start to finish and made it so fun. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic day with our guide Jade. The small group makes it much easier to learn a locals perspective about the sights and history while avoiding feeling like a a typical tourist. We good to see plenty of different locations and experiences with adequate time at each stop. The guide had a number of lunch recommendations based on food preference, which worked really well for us. Given the small group this is an excellent way to see plenty at a reasonable price without the big coach feeling.

We were only in Busan for a couple of days. The city is so spread out that I figured the best way to see the city - without worrying about transportation, etc - was to be part of a tour, which I never usually do. This was my first time booking a tour, and booking a tour with Viator. I was grateful to be in a small group tour after I passed tour after tour of huge groups. We were able to experience a taste of Busan with an experienced and knowledgeable guide, Jade, who was friendly, informative and very kind. The whole process was painless and I very much appreciated the Viator options to cancel/change dates/reserve and pay later. Would definitely recommend.

Jino was a wonderful guide. He gave us a great tour and was very knowledgeable about each place visited. He was able to guide us to find a restaurant for lunch that met or dietary requirements. He was prompt and made sure we were able to get back to our cruise ship on time. Highly recommend the tour.

A full day out. Lots of stairs and rocks. Not suitable for elderly or disabled. We had a great time and a packed day from 9am through 5pm. Our guide Fiona was very organised, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Highlight was the fish market and fresh seafood lunch. Tour of markets and historic sites and Gamcheon culture village well worth it. Thank you Fiona a super day.

Our tour guide “iceman” was wonderful, giving us a flavor of Korean culture (and a taste of live octopus as a cuisine!!!). He adjusted the schedule to our time needs. A wonderful visit!!!
