The first bar was dead and we stayed there way too long, could've spent the time in other more fun places.
Worst bar crawl I’ve ever been on. Starts at a generic pub that reminds me of a Burger King. The other stops also seemed like less desirable bars this tour aims to fill. The bar crawl lead though was super sweet and hospitable. Feel bad he has to work for this crap tour.
I highly recommended way to explore the bar and club scene in the new city. Meeting like-minded people and partying with strangers who later become friends is amazing.
You don’t go to the actual ruin bars (the main famous ones).
You start at an avg bar with zero history, waste of time. It is mostly a bar crawl for people who just want to party/younger crowd.

Such a fun experience! Obi is a wonderful guide. Since we had a smaller group, he took us to see a few other of his favorite spots. We learned some Hungarian basics, grabbed some delicious pizza, and had a dance party. Great way to spend an evening with new friends! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and looked after!
Lana was our tour guide. She was personable and knowledgeable about the city. She really helped us have a good night on our first night in Budapest. I definitely recommend.
Obi is the best guide he is cool and recommend 100% doing this tour. Last few clubs in particular are great!
I recently went on a ruin pub crawl in Budapest with Philipp as our guide, and it was an incredible experience! Philipp was super knowledgeable and fun, making the night feel personal and relaxed. We visited several unique bars, each with its own quirky charm—some laid-back, others buzzing with energy. The drinks were affordable, and the eclectic decor made each stop special. It was a fantastic way to experience Budapest’s vibrant nightlife!
The bars were really cool, each one was unique. Anett was such a knowledgeable and fun host it really made the night!
Very nice guide named Obi! Only 3 bars and one club (one of the bars was temporarily closed) but it was still very fun and very cool places we went to. We would really recommend it !
We came as a couple in our 40s, we were worried we would be too old for a tour like this, but there were other people with us in the same age range. We got to bars we wouldn't have gotten to if it weren't for the tour. There was a great atmosphere and our guide was in a had good vibe!
Great experience - the bars in Budapest are second to none, you’ll meet wonderful people from all over the world and our guide Phillip was amazing. Highly recommend, especially for solo travelers.
So positives - Imran I would give 5 stars, he should be managing the tours, he’s great fun and knows how to build rapport with the guests!
Change needed, - the first bar was rubbish, scrap it, it’s just a boring sports bar, also should meet at a bar and have a reserved area, not meet and then have a ten minute walk to the first rubbish bar! Not having any areas reserved to, all tours I’ve been in have had that. The third bar was great, more time should be spent there, it’s so cool and funky.
I had fun thanks to imran and other people on tour but I wouldn’t do it again unless some changes made!
We had trouble locating the tour operator to find exact meeting point. We was expecting at least some information on the venues we were visiting but no interaction with the guides

Great drinking tour and great chance to meet other tourists and get recommendations.
However, the shots were a scam, but overall the tour is still worthy of 5 stars
We did not find them at the meeting point. We did not receive a refund nor reply. Tried to reach them twice.

Our guides were very knowledgeable and engaged. There was a good mix or bars and clubs so that we could experience many aspects of Budapest nitelife.
Philip was fab guide, and ensured he looked after the whole group the whole night.. Great fun, in great bars with great people
The guide and people made this your what it was. Without that it would not be such an amazing tour. I made friends and enjoyed this in a way I couldn’t imagine. The bars were fun and the alcohol was okay.

Had the best night. Our tour guides Sophia and Lilly were amazing and so much fun. Best way to get the know the night life in Budapest and make a lot of friends. Would recommend doing it early in your trip so you learn where to go and how to do night life in Budapest.
This was the one of the bad tours of my life, said they’ll take to ruin bars which are famous in Budapest but took to some bad bars where the alcohol was so low class!! Won’t recommend to anyone, we left in 40 mins

5***** definitely had a great time.
For a Monday it was pretty packed. And also our group was pretty cool.
Had an amazing bar crawl experience in Budapest! We weren’t expecting much with it being a Sunday, but our turnout was great, we met some amazing people and our tour guide was so much fun. Would highly recommend!
This was suppose to be a ruins pub tour but was more of a regular bar “tour”. I say “tour” because the tour guide Literally just took us from one spot to the next and would just hang out with his friend. At the lost spot I didn’t even see him
Again after our “shot”. The shots were a JOKE. I saw them make them and it was a splash of vodka with sprite. I’ve done quite a few tours all over and this was absolutely my least favorite.

It is a scam. The operator didn’t show up and no answer to calls and I was waiting in the location for more than an hour. It was cold and raining. Now I don’t even know how to ask for a refund

We went on a Tuesday night and had a blast. Very cool locations, shots were plentiful and strong so I felt like I got my moneys worth.
It was a very convenient way to get into bars while skipping the lines. Free shots ain’t bad either.
