Learn more about the history not told

harriet_e, May 2026
This is important history generally untold. The Jewish experience in Romania was long and rich in terms of the contributions made to the communities in which they lived. Mostly the citizens of Romania kept silent when friends and neighbors were threatened.

Fantastic Bucharest tour of culture and history

Absolutely fabulous! Well organized tour. Can't recommend it enough to anybody visiting Bucharest. Every stop we went to we learned something new and it was a nice balance of culture and history with charismatic hosts along the way . Jacky, our guide was one of the best guides that I've ever experienced on any tour.

Extremely emotional tour of Judaism in Bucharest

JERRY_B, Nov 2024
Loan was very knowledgeable and very accurate on his history if the Jewish community in Bucharest. He was able to answer questions on past present and future about Jewish life. Our trip to the Yiddish theatre was very enlightening about the last Jewish theatre in Romania. Overall this was a very emotional tour and highly rated.

One of the best tours and guides I’ve had the pleasure to experience.

Laura was one of the best guides I have ever had. She was knowledgeable, personable, articulate and genuine. She has not only done her homework in researching the Jewish heritage in Bucharest but has also connected with some of the key stakeholders of the tradition who are still here. She has developed a rapport that made us feel as if we were being welcomed by old friends. Clearly the people she took us to visit respected her a great deal. She was kind and willing to take the tour in the directions that our small group of six wanted to go. She answered our all of our questions with patience and candor. She also shared the wider context of both life in Bucharest through interesting historical details and stories from her own life growing up under Communism and the transition to the current scene.
