Benedetta(?) Was a really great guide...so informative about Bolognas history, culture and food. She was good fun too...We enjoyed our 2 hours with her. There were just 4 of us so it was virtually a private tour. I would highly recommend.

Our guide Beatrice was very knowledgeable, articulate in her delivery and patient with latecomers. The tour was definitely a highlight of our week in Bologna and I would highly recommend it at the beginning of a stay to get a feel for the city.

Our guide, Benedetta, was very knowledgeable! She was easy to understand, gave colorful local flavor to the trip, and had a good sense of humor! The pace of the tour was perfect. Thank you!
Our guide was pleasant and personable. Coming from the US he spoke very fast and was a bit difficult to understand. Some of the information presented were not supported by what we found. Particularly the sculpture of the Neptune fountain. Giambologna’s hands being severed at the pope’s instruction.

Benedetta took us on a wonderfully interesting tour of some of the central historical sites in Bologna. She was incredibly friendly and very welcoming of questions and conversation. She covered the general history of the city, we visited the Basilica, the old Bilblioteca and some of the market streets. We had a great time and would recommend her tours wholeheartedly.

It did seem to cover all of the basics in Bologna centre including the anatomical theatre and main cathedral. The guide talked about the history of location and places
Improvements, the guide never introduced himself, we started late so it felt rushed, the audio didn’t work so it was hard to hear and the guide didn’t try to make up for it, his accent was heavy so speaking more slowly would have helped.

A lovely walk around Bologna, visiting all the main sites. Margarita gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and also the best ice cream!

Absolutely wonderful guide that managed to condense history of Bologna into tasty tidbits with lots of interaction. Small group especially helpful when navigating major tourist sites. A great intro to the town. Best guide ever.
Maria was hard to our guide and did an excellent job. She was very knowledgeable and we’ve done great stories to tell us about the Italian culture, the water, canals and bologna, as well as food and history.

Nice, compact city tour with a knowledgeable guide. Easy walk, and guide pointed out many interesting small "secrets", which made the tour all the better.
An absolute must do to appreciate the rich history and culture of Bologna, together with a tour of the architecture and the traditional restaurants and markets.

The tour guide was very nice, but spoke very broken English, and there was no headphone set, so she was impossible to hear. She was not very familiar with the tour information, you could tell she was reading off a script, that was very thin on information.

This walking tour focuses on the central area of Bologna, and begins at Piazza Maggiore. Our guide shared a history of the city and the province, including the relationships over the centuries with Rome and the Vatican. Want to know why the Basilica facade and interior are unfinished? See the first teaching autopsy room? Stroll the streets of the market place to get your bearings for a return visit? This tour is for you! Our guide was outstanding!! The walking was concentrated in a small area and was easy to do.

The tour started on time and was well organised. Giuseppe was knowledgeable, funny and detailed. The tour is a great way to get your bearings of Bologna.
Giuseppe was a knowledgeable, fluent, and entertaining storyteller! He was joyful and welcoming, and kept our family engaged and moving for over two hours as we got our bearings and a running start on the history of Bologna.

Not too much walking but you need a pair of good walking shoes. During summer hot days its better to start very early in the morning or very late in the afternoon.
