Enjoyable informative experience for families

We had a wonderful experience learning about parmasen cheese production at an organic factory. Lovely to see the cows and to see the many many wheels of parmasen, including those that get rejected. Learnt so much. We also visited a balsamic vinegar producer that kept to the traditional ways. Great to see the storage and sample vinegars with different foods too. Finally a visit to an organic winery with lunch was the perfect ending to the day. Our driver Francesco was lovely and we never felt rushed. We travelled with our kids 7, 11yo and they loved asking questions and the tour guides were great with them. Highly recommend!

Amazing day in the food valley region of Modena

It was so much fun. Each stop offered more than expected. Everyone we encountered was friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about sharing their knowledge with us. From our driver Francesco to Flower at the dairy farm and Julia at the winery, we could not have felt more welcome. Our host at the balsamic vinegar stop was also amazing but his name escapes me at the moment. The lunch he served was outstanding and he was an incredibly kind and gracious host. I would definitely recommend this tour

This was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Our driver Francesco was friendly and helpful. Our tour guides at all three locations were great and lunch was delicious with plenty of wine!

To Do IT ! Great Experience ! The stops the tour provided were fabulous. The Parmesan Cheese Factory was sensational. The Winery tour was very interesting The BEST was the Balsamic Factory tour which included lunch...Bravissimo!

Overpriced tour with rude driver

We had a rocky start to our tour when we could not find our driver. I called the contact number given several times and received no response. Finally at 8:20 (our pickup was scheduled for 8:00) our driver calls very angry and we were able to find each other. He did not speak English and used a translator app to scold us for being late (even though we were not) and insisted we booked as a group of two people even though I showed him our reservation confirmation stating we were a group of 3. I should also add that we booked several private tours during our time in Italy and all other drivers entered our hotel to pick us up with no issue. He drove very aggressively and stopped to get gas even though he kept on saying we were late. We ended up going to a different dairy farm because we were late. It was a nice tour and then we resumed our original tour and continued to the wine shop. We arrived at our next destination on time but everyone else was late so we had to wait around for them for 20 minutes which seemed odd since us being late for the first portion caused our tour to change. The woman at the wine shop was very nice and knowledgeable but kept on having to stop midway during the tour to tend to customers. Our favorite part was our last stop which was the balsamic tasting and lunch. Overall this tour was very overpriced, the driver was very rude and it was not well organized.

My daughter and I did the private tour. This was a fantastic day! What is better than cheese, balsamic vinegar, wine and lunch. Loved visiting and learning about all f the above. Our drive was also amazing! Highly recommend!

I loved pretty much everything about this tour. The vinegar distillery and the winery were both amazing, but the cheese/dairy farm was absolutely horrifying. The facility was absolutely filthy, and was actually newer compared to others in the region. I would never ever go back there, but enjoyed everything else on the tour.

All in one day, a great private tour! Francesco, our driver was prompt and courteous, picking us up in a comfortable van and then out to the countryside for a dairy tour where we witnessed the cheese making process for Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and of course a sampling of the different aged cheeses. Then it was off to a famed winery with a tour of their museum, then wine making, and then, of course wine sampling of Lambrusco. An extra treat was the car museum where the winery owner had sponsored one of the famous F1 race cars. Fabulous! Next it was to an intimate balsamic vinegar tour of the production - so informative by our lovely hostess. We sampled some wine, enjoyed a delicious lunch and then the balsamic vinegars. Delightful in every step! We never felt hurried along and we enjoyed our full day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour and we highly recommend it! Our driver, Francesco is friendly and tried to communicate with us despite not being fluent in English. The cheese, balsamic vinegar and wine tours were all informative and we learnt so much. Not once or anywhere, we were asked to buy anything. Finally, the lunch that was included for us was beyond our expectation. The restaurant had a great view, nice ambience and most importantly very delicious three course meal with a glass of wine.
