This was the perfect tour! Our driver's name was Wang Li and he was wonderful! He picked us on time with a smile! He did not speck English, but was a master with his translation app! We had lovely conversations during our drive. He was kind, generous with his knowledge and so helpful. He helped us purchase tickets and walked with us through the confusing complex, all the way until we got on the chairlift. We had an incredible visit, hiking on the wall and then Wang LI was exactly where he said he would be for our journey home. I would highly recommend this tour and request Wang Li!

Driver picked us up at our hotel on time didn’t speak English, but used a translator app. He arranged all of our tickets, which was awesome as we hadn’t secured them in advance. Car was nice and the ride was very comfortable. Water was provided. We drove the advertise time of about 90 minutes from our hotel to the Great Wall. He smooth things along for us at the entrance and told us where to go and where to meet him and was waiting at the appointed spot after our awesome experience we really enjoyed the gondola and hiking up to the 20th tower to the left. It was a nice hike and by getting an early start we avoided the crazy crowds we saw on our return. Definitely recommend getting going early and bundling up if you’re visiting in the winter as we did.

Very excellent Tour guide for Great wall

To begin with, the driver showed up well before the scheduled time, he didn't disturb the reception and we got off at our time anyway, he accompanied us in a new 6-seater car, spacious and very clean with air conditioning and in which there were sweets and water for our service. Once we arrived, the driver pointed out to us that the weather wasn't the best and offered umbrellas and accompanied us to the minibus where our tour began. Once we returned to the meeting point, he had us have lunch in a place he knew (very cheap and delicious) and then returned again to the hotel. I highly recommend the service for its welcome, punctuality, services, patience, professionalism and above all seriousness in its work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A+++++

Great Wall plus Beijing tour

Our guide Nicholas was excellent. Easy pick up at the airport, nice drive to the Great Wall and organized our shuttle bus and cable car. Afterwards we had time so Nicolas took us to the Forbidden City, then for a local tasty lunch and walk around the local distract. Great experience and highly recommended.

Perfect visit to the Great Wall!

Nicholas was an amazing host! We felt taken care of from start to finish & would recommend to anyone visiting!! He met us in our hotel lobby at 7am and he also bought our tickets for us (entrance + gondola fees) so everything went smoothly once we got to the Great Wall; he showed us where to go to get to the top, and where/what time to meet him after. We also got lunch & enjoyed a tea ceremony together— perfect visit to the Great Wall!

We were advised to visit this part of the wall to have be best chance of avoiding the worst of the crowds. You do have to be ready for some more serious walking, but we are happy to explore without a guide. We did want to make the trip there as easy as possible and took this service as it was recommended. I am so glad we did. Our driver was excellent, there was good communication the day before about where we would meet, he was knowledgable and helped with the ticketing etc at the wall, gave advice via text about rain moving in to be sure we could use the toboggan coming down, and generally made the day perfect by taking all the stress out for us. Would HIGHLY recommend

My guide Leo Houngtao was fantastic. He did a lot of work to gather all of the tickets, keep us and the driver on time, and to make lunch reservations for all participants. He gave many detailed facts about where we were going, and what the significance was of every site. He was able to make sure he went at our pace, and was beyond informative. I would not hesitate on going on a different tour, as he is very good at what he does. You can't go wrong with Leo. He is great!

This really was perfect for our needs that day in late February. The weather was 25F outside, so very cold. We were bundled up, so not too bad since the wind wasn't blowing hard. The good news was the pollution was lower than normal. We didn't want a full day tour, as all we really wanted was to have a driver take us there and back and show us how to purchase tickets. Our driver did all that, and he even took our photo at the entrance. He waited for us at the parking area next to a restaurant about a fifth or quarter mile walk away from the entrance. Other drivers seem to wait there too, presumably because it costs them less. It wasn't a problem at all, and he was waiting when we returned there. We rode the chair lift the enclosed cable car wasn't open that week up and down -- the luge was closed when we went back down due to the fact it had started snowing. The view on the wall as well as from the chair lift as it snowed was beautiful. A great day.
