Very professional company, everything was perfectly organized. The driver and guide were both super friendly, knowledgeable and made the day really enjoyable. Matera is a unique town, that must be visited once in a lifetime. They also offered to change the drop-off point at the end of the tour as we preferred to stay closer to Bari city center see the christmas lights. You can trust them completely - and you won't regret it!

Booking this tour was the best decision we made. My husband, daughter, and I had a fantastic day in Matera and Alberobello. The driver and guide, Andreas and Piero, were both friendly and welcoming. He shared so much history and knowledge with us that we would never have known without his tour. He was generous with his time and gave us tips on the places we visited. The van ride was comfortable, air-conditioned, and on time at every stop. It was an excellent tour and well worth the time and money.

I travel frequently and have used aviator often, but I could not find the meeting spot. The private driver left without picking us up.

Really excellent experience and well worth the price. My group saw both Matera & Alberobello and chose to have both the driver & guide. Our guide Matthias was very attentive and provided a health of information. He took our group on tours of both locations and also provided a recommendation for where to eat in Alberobello.
My family felt very cared for. Definitely would recommend.

Absolute cannot miss places. Drive was exceptional. Long day but 2-3 hours in each will work. Food in Matera is exceptional. The streets and sidewalks are very slippery in many ateas as the stone is worn down. Wear proper shoes with very good traction and comfort.

Wear great shoes as you will need grip on the smooth surface of the stones on incline, however, it is so worth it to get through areas which can only be seen on foot, personally, and intimately with your tour guide. He was very in tune with our interests and needs in the group, yet did not let one dominate the experience. When we inquired about various historical or cultural aspects, he delivered, allowing us to experience the beauty of the trilli inside and out, the market, and the depth of the world’ 3rd oldest continuously occupied city of Matera. Worth every experience!

Hired just the Driver for the day, which gives you more time to walk around at your own pace, great for people over sixties, Lorenzo the driver was excellent gave great tips and was a smooth driver.
Worth the money if your budget allows wouldn't do it any other way.

Very good private transfer. We don’t use a guide and did the tour on our own. It was so much fun. Matera is much bigger and will take longer, so don’t stay at the first stop too long. I would eat at the first stop too because there are not a lot of fast options at Matera. We sat down for lunch and it ate up 1.5 hr of our time there. Our driver Piero was very friendly and professional. A great experience!

Andrea’s was a great guide! He answered all of our questions and went out of his way to make sure we saw everything we could squeeze into our day. He had plenty of water available for us and he had a bag of snacks that were local from Bari. He was always conscience of our comfort and was very knowledgeable of each of the towns. He and our driver were great and I highly recommend this tour. Matera is not to be missed!

I would like to share with future tour goers, this is NOT a private tour. It is a small group so be ok with the price knowing this.
Overall, the tour and pickup was fine. I think there could have been more facts, history, and evolution over time of the 2 places, especially Matera. I left a bit disappointed with my experience and knowledge shared there given it's 10k years old. It felt more like we were taken to just take photos and less exploring/fact finding.
The rides were nice and smooth and local pickup was appreciated. My rating would be a 7 out of 10.

A friend and I had a fantastic day touring Alberobello and Matera with Andreas as our guide. It started well with meeting Andreas on time, as well as our good driver, Gaetano(sp?). Andreas provided useful info about the area as we drove to Alberobello. He expertly guided us through the Trulli village, allowing everyone time to take photos or ask questions. The same was true in Matera. He never rushed anyone, pointed out restroom facilities as needed, presented interesting information as we walked around the sites, and he remained friendly, yet professional, the entire day. I was very impressed and highly recommended this tour, and specifically Andreas as a guide. Grazie Andreas!

Our guide Andreas was informative on the history and geography of Alberbello and Matera.
Alberobello has very interesting types of houses (the trulli) which makes up a mystical view of the town.
Matera has vety intriguing adobes of habitation carved in limestone starting probably a thousand years ago. The panoramic view of the town is so unworldly. the history is so interesting.

Meu esposo e eu fizemos um passeio privado com a Experiential Tours de Bari para as cidades de Matera e Alberobello. As reservas fizemos usando a Viator. Foi muito fácil de reservar, e recebemos o contado do Andreas que foi o guia e motorista do passeio. Andreas fala bem inglês, foi muito simpático e acolhedor, na recepção recebemos água, 1 mapa de matera e 1 pacote com massa como presente. O carro era muito confortável e as estradas que passamos eram boas.
durante o trajeto recebemos dicas, curiosidades e orientações sobre as cidades. Andreas nos acompanhou até o ponto de encontro e ficamos livres para passaer pelas cidades.
Alberobello e Matera são cidades muito particulares e cheias de história, vale a pena o passeio. Tiramos fotos lindas.
Vamos com certeza voltar para Bari algum dia para visitar outras atrações turísticas da Experiential Tours.
