We bought tickets on line , only a small que for ten minutes. Worth buying the return as we were sharing a cab on the way up with other people , on the way down we were able to swap sides and have a better view and photograph opportunities. Amazing view of the city from above.

The ticket they emailed me was not valid as it did not have the barcode which is what is required for entry. We were stranded at the entry and whole afternoon was wasted, i dont even know why viator is encouraging providers like this. I have booked several trip with viator and this is the first time having a issue. They dont respond and no proper contact information. We had to rebook with different provider for next day and they provided the expected bar code.

Short ride to the castle in a very comfortable car. Seating for around six, modern and sleek design.
Only complaint I had was we had no idea where the starting point was. I reached out via Viator to ask and never heard back. We thought it was the cable car near the ocean only to find out it was on top of the mountain. Viator needs to put more specific instructions on where this is.

After a long walk to get to the boarding platform it was a relatively short ride. One should know that there are no bathroom facilities…….not at the boarding platform and not at the top.

A great day activity where you ride to the top of Montjuic and learn about the history of the castle. You don't have to go inside the castle, but it is really interesting. It costs extra, but just to ride up to the top is a good thing to do because you get nice views and can stay up there as long as you'd like. There were kids and adults and some had brought snacks. Plenty of shaded places to sit and there was a guy playing live music as well.

There is almost always a que to board the cable cars even if you have pre purchased tickets. The ride up to the castke is very smooth with great views of Barcelona.

Even with the eticket, you still need to stop by the booth and get a paper ticket. They don't have two separate lines. Good thing is you have from open until before they close to redeem the purchased ticket.

Does what a cable car does! Takes you up. Takes you back. Great views. Queue at bottom can take a while but a decent view at the top over the water. Walking up from town is a tough one for anyone who is a bit unfit. Steep stairs towards the end.

Great way to get up to the fort and get a great view over Barcelona. The half way station has an option to take the other cable car to the port.

I wasn’t expecting much from this experience but equally I didn’t get excited about what I saw either.
It was ok but I really didn’t see the point of the cable cars when you could have walked up to the castle!

We rode up the mountain to the fort at the top.....view was spectacular! It was easy getting on and off the cable car and was fun watching the view as we went up. The fort was worth the time. The lines moved pretty quick and was able to have a cable car to ourselves going up and shared one coming down. We were doing a Hop on/Hop off bus and this worked out well with this tour.
