The tour was outstanding as was our guide Alba. The cava wine tour was very informative with great tasting wine! Very nice experience. The Montserrat tour was also breath taking. Not the best weather but loved it. Our oldest son got engaged in the basilica square. Alba was great and assisted with the engagement spot. High recommend her as a guide!!

Albert Cardona was an amazing tour guide! First, he picked us earlier so we didn't miss the Basilica Montserrat because there was an official funeral going on later at the Basilica and he didn't wanted us to miss the entrance. He explained everything to us and even educated us in Catalunyian traditions & history. He gave us plenty of free time to explore as well at the monastery and after that took us to an amazing Winery at Penedés called "Vins El Cep" where we had an amazing tour of how Cava is made with Mónica Cuadrado and the different grapes they use (Xarel·lo, Macabeu & Parellada) to make an amazing Cava and even an amazing White Wine called "Pla del Bosc" and we aren't white wine regular consumers. Organic wines with no sugar added whatsoever. Since we had time to spare, A lbert took us to places we missed during our vacations at Barcelona. Two big thumbs up for him (or Horns up 🤘🏽 since he is also a Heavy Metal fan, specifically to the greatest Metal Band of the world Iron Maiden). Thank you for everything! Agur Albert!

We had a fantastic time on this tour with Eduardo! He picked us up right at the apartment where we were staying. There were only 7 in our group - we were 5 of them - so it was easy to keep up with everything. Eduardo has a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable about Montserrat, Spain and Spanish/Catalan culture. He was easy to talk to and ask questions. The tour of Montserrat was amazing! So much to see in the time we were there. Our time was split between being together as a group and exploring on our own - a very nice mix. We definitely could have stayed longer but we had enough time to hike, ride the funicular, take lots of pictures and do a little shopping and cheese tasting in addition to the time we spent with Eduardo. Then we were off to the winery to learn a bit of history of Spanish wine and the vineyard, plus a tour and a tasting. We were joined by others in another tour and we had a great time learning about each other. Overall, we had a wonderful day and highly recommend this tour and Eduardo!

Jose was very knowledgeable and provided lots of good information about things to do at Montserrat. Its a nice slow pace with plenty of free time to decide what activities interest each individual. My sister has mobility issues and he took that into account and assisted her at each stop. The winery tour was very informative. It was interesting learning about the different types of wine. The tasting allowed us to try 3 different types, each aged differently.

Visiting Monserrat and the wine tour experience was amazing. Not quite sure about the guide David. Many times we had to ask for clarification. We all thought the wine tour was included in the price of the tour and a bit surprised we paid David, rather than the winery, for the additional fee.
David did help us arrange for a ticket to enter the Basilica and the boys choir performance, which was amazing!
The Cava wine tour and tasting was very nice. The tour was very informative and interesting. So nice to visit a smaller facility and hear their background and compassion for their winemaking.

Beware of the false information for this tour. The tour guide is basically the driver (he lacks the tour guide-information part). You are basically on your own most of the day. The wine tour is Not included (buy your ticket from IN,&Out tours- it is included). The winery tour was the Best part of the tour, and they don't get anything for it. The driver dropped us off at the winery, and then picked us up and told us to pay him $20.00 directly or his PayPal for the winery tour ($20.00 per person).
One of the worst tours we've ever taken, and would never recommend.

The tour wasn’t great. It was a long day with little direction and didn’t seem well laid out. Going to a tour with a tasting that you still pay for is ridiculous. the tour was way too long. literally 3+ hours to walk around at a sight with nothing planned.

Montsterrat was incredible. Don't miss it.! Winery was gorgeous. Our tour guide, Alma, was fun and very informative. She is an incredible driver in a crazy city. Highly recommend this tour.

Dulce and Carlos were excellent the whole trip was very smooth. We had a great time especially wine tasting. We tasted four kinds of wine, sparkling, red and white. It was a worthwhile visit, The van was very comfortable and Dulce took good care of us even before the trip started

Dulce was our tour guide and did a fantastic job. She had us depart our hotel a little early so we could arrive at the Montserrat monastery early enough to view the black Madonna. Shortly after we saw it, the chapel got closed for a daily service. Dulce completely steered us right in timing!
We also rode the funicular to the top of the mountain and took some breathtaking pictures.
We took a gondola lift down the mountain that was really nice.
We also stopped at a winery on the way back. The winery was nice and we enjoyed the wines.

Great opportunity to see some spectacular scenery and finish off with wine tasting so close to a city that already has a lot to offer. Our guide Jose really made this trip more exciting by offering up his knowledge and passion. His advice made our time up on the mountain all the more enjoyable.

We have been on many winery tours with tastings, and our trip to Llopart was probably the best we have ever done. The Montserrat part of the trip was great, too. Our guide Dulce explained everything, gave us good suggestions, and lots of free time. It was a very long day, but not exhausting, because it was well-paced. Dulce was very professional: she emailed us the day before with pickup time AND her phone number, then again in the am when she was getting close. If only all tour operators would do this!!!! Thank you, Dulce, for a stress-free day!

We got picked up from our location, and 10 minutes later we got pulled over by the police because our driver didn’t have the proper license. We had to wait for 30 min then have the police hail a cab. 0 stars, we didn’t even get 2km away.

Out of the five guided tours I did during my time in Barcelona, this was by far my favorite. A large part of it was because Ramon, my guide, made the tour truly unforgettable. His enthusiasm and knowledge is remarkable and it felt like I had my own personal guide the entire time. Although I didn't know about the boy's choir to buy tickets for it in advance, I was able to buy it on the spot and skip the line because of Ramon. Throughout the entire procession, he explained everything like a personal teacher. I learned so much about the history of Barcelona and Montserrat during this tour and have already recommended it to friends. Be sure to ask for Ramon!

Our tour guide Alba was great so informative and a great tour . Alba made sure we saw all the sights on a full days tour. She knew all the history about Montserrat and provided endless details. She arrived at the hotel meeting place on time with a car ready to use on the full day tour. Before Montserrat we toured a winery and sampled 3 great wines. The tour and wine tasting was a fun part of the trip. We could not have seen so much in one day trying to do this tour on our own. With Alba as our guide it made the tour and day so much more enjoyable.

Cannot say enough about this tour. Highly recommend it. Montserrat had breathtaking views. Our guide took us all in as a group, gave us the history of everything. We had more than enough free time to explore and get lunch plus we rode the funicular to the top and a short hike on our own. The boys choir was amazing. A must for sure. We then travelled to the winery for a tour and then tasted several wines outside in a beautiful tranquil setting. Loved this tour.

Marcel was our tour guide. He was awesome. Marcel arrived at our hotel on time and was professional and friendly. He included my girls in the tour asking them pop quiz questions. He is very knowledgeable about Barcelona and the history. The wine tasting stop at Llopart was tasty. We learned a lot about sparkling wine and corpinnat wine from Roger. Next stop Marcel took us to Montserrat and we learned so much about the monks and nuns that live(d) there. The top of the mountain was breathtaking and beautiful. There were so many details in each room of the cathedral and Marcel explained it all to us and answered any questions we had. We also had the pleasure of meeting Marcel’s lovely family.

Alex did a fantastic job! He picked us up right at our hotel, discussed Spanish history on way to Montserrat. While at Montserrat he gave us a private tour and also gave us some time to ourselves. Then off to a delicious lunch at a beautiful restaurant followed by the wine tasting. Perfect day!

This was a perfect day trip from Barcelona and a highlight of my two weeks in Spain.
The mountain, the monastery, the vineyard, the cava, the cheese tastings, and above all, the guide! Ramón was such a pleasure from start to finish—kind, knowledgeable, funny, helpful, and caring. I heard another member of our tour group say that he wished Ramon was his dad, and I have to agree that anyone would be lucky to have this man as family! Dulce was our tour guide for the Monsterrat and the Basilica. She was a delight and quite knowledgable. She allowed us options for how we would like to travel up to the Basilica, by take the cable car and as well as the option to take the tram to the top. It was a wonderful experience.

My friend and I booked the small group tour to the vineyard and Montserrat. We are extremely disappointed and feel ripped off. The description of this tour on Viator states that we will be traveling in a "luxury minivan". Well, we were put in a five-seater car and I and my friend were squished in the back seat with a stranger. It was very uncomfortable. The worst part of this tour, our guide barely spoke any English and the other two people on the tour also didn't speak English. They all spoke Portuguese, which we don't speak. Most of the day, they spoke Portuguese. My friend and I understood about 5 and 10 % of what our guide said. He was nice and tried but the trip was a fiasco! We were supposed to go to the monastery first, then the vineyard. Instead, we went to the vineyard first. Most people don't care to partake in a wine tasting at 11;30 in the morning, at least we don't. This was not a cheap tour and we are disgusted. We would have preferred to stay home. I don't understand how you can assign a guide to people who don't speak the same language.
