Our family of five had an absolutely wonderful tour of Barcelona. Our guide, originally from Israel and living in Barcelona for the past 17 years, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history and culture.
What impressed us most was his ability to connect with everyone in our group. He kept our 9-year-old daughter interested and involved while also providing the depth, context, and historical perspective that the parents and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed. Finding a guide who can successfully engage ages 9 to 69 is no small feat, but he made it look effortless.
His knowledge seemed endless, yet he presented everything in a way that was approachable, entertaining, and easy to understand. We learned far more than we expected and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Barcelona’s Jewish history.
This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we could not have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a guide who is intelligent, personable, engaging, and able to tailor the experience to a diverse group, we highly recommend him.

This was one of the very best tours we took on our trip. The guide was not only very knowledgeable, but had a great personality which made it very enjoyable.

This tour was by far our favorite. Adi combined very interesting history and facts that we would have never known on our own. Our 12 and 16 year old kids were riveted and engaged the whole time. It really put Jewish history and world history together to create a comprehensive understanding of Jewish experience in Spain. You will not be disappointed! Boo

This tour was excellent. It gave a historical perspective of not only Jewish history, but Barcelona history as well. We were exposed to Roman ruins and Mikvahs hidden in stores that we would not have found on our own. Adi, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

This was an absolutely amazing and enlightening experience. Our guide, On Tal, was extraordinary — his deep knowledge of history, etymology, and genealogy brought the story of Jewish Barcelona vividly to life. He didn’t just recite facts; he wove them together with fascinating anecdotes and personal stories that revealed the human side of history.
In just over two hours, I felt transported through centuries — from the time of the oldest surviving house in Barcelona, built by a Jewish family, to the echoes of a community that shaped the city long before the Inquisition. Having recently moved to Barcelona myself, this tour completely transformed the way I see the city.
On’s passion, insight, and storytelling are remarkable. I could have spent the entire day listening to him. For anyone who truly wants to understand Barcelona beyond the usual tourist highlights, especially those with Jewish heritage or an interest in the city’s deeper roots, this tour is essential. Complex, moving, and profoundly meaningful.
