Don’t book! We booked and downloaded the ticket with a 6pm pick up, however the supplier sent me a message the day before to advise the pick up was 4.30pm. Being at sea I did not pick up the message until the day of the trip. I then immediately contacted the supplier to advise we couldn’t make the earlier time, some 90 minutes before our contracted agreement due to other plans. I was told to contact Viator to ask for a refund. Spent a great deal of time then messaging Viator whom I had paid trying to get a refund. Viator said they would only refund 50% as I did not respond immediately to the suppliers message, which was impossible as sent when I was out of service at sea. Will be taking further with Viator, not a company I would recommend!

When you book you missed out on 2 very important parts on the Viator site....
1)The operator in Barbados will contact you to give you your pick up time at your accommodation for the trip.
****Its a group transfer and everyone can not be picked up at the same time, depending on where you are staying this will determine the pick up time. On this date the first pick up point was the cruise port.... your location
2)Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

Very hard to Explain Oistins.
Total chaos springs to mind ( but in a nice way ).
Probably more enjoyable if you're in your early 20s and not in your late 60s.
So glad we reserved tables for our group of 7 as the amount of people queuing to dine was at one point over 30.
Yvette ( our guide and taxi driver) was very attentive and ensured we were all fed and watered..

Yvette is an absolutely amazing person. She picked us up promptly for our Mt Gay Tour Experience, arrival time picking us up for prompt as well. She also picked us up for the Oistens Fish fry and she guided us to our reserved table and our complimentary drinks. If ever booking a tour or need a taxi please contact Yvette! Picked up on time and treat with excellent customer service by Yvette.The experience itself was super . Taken to restaurant and food was excellent .We would recommend the excursion to anyone. We avoided queues for food and taxis back to the hotel.

If you do not like crowds or perhaps a long wait for food, this may not be the best tour

So much fun and a must do on a Friday Night. This tour guarantees us a table which is a plus because it gets packed. We had a hiccup with timing but they were able to work with us an accommodate us. Our driver Listial was fantastic.

Yvette had great communication and was prompt with picking us up. She chatted to us a lot about Barbados and Oistins.
The traffic was really bad getting out of Barbados which was out of Yvette’s control. She tried to make some short cuts but the journey took us a lot
Longer than it did on the way back. Yvette was happy to alter the pick up time giving us more time at Oistins. She ensured we all had our complimentary drink and got seated. This was a godsend as I don’t think we would have got a table on our own due to how busy it gets.

Stuart our driver got us there in good time where we were met by the lovely Yvette.
We received a complimentary drink and shared a table with fellow trip goers. Had a great laugh getting to know our new friends.
The food itself wasn't that great (no flying fish cutters available). But the lively atmosphere made up for the menu disappointment.
It's certainly an experience and one I would recommend with Tervette tours.

The atmosphere was busy too many venders hustling for you business. The location we were taken too was very busy & the host was not very friendly. She became annoyed when the order was incorrect so we venture to another location. The best part was returning to our resort. The cost for a ride was high when we could have taken a taxi for a fraction of the cost. Maybe if it included the beverage & meal it would have bee better. I would secure my own transportation the next time for a better experience. The driver was exceptionally nice and informative

First: The food was not good. Second: You were sandwiched between tables of people eating food that looked the same no matter what you ordered. Third: We were told that it was cash ONLY! Very bad experience!!!!

Yvette and Prince were wonderful in both arranging and then Prince escorted us thru the crowd to a delicious dinner location- if u have never been there before - this venue can be very daunting with huge crowds; lots and lots of food as well as music and numerous craft vendors. Prince got us situated and comfortable- and later was there to return us to our hotel-
Their service was just amazing! We had a great time and throughly enjoyed the entire experience!

At first blush we said “nah, we can easily take a taxi or even a public transport”. True enough. But having this company (Yvette) pick us up at our hotel and Importantly walk us personally to a reserved seated spot, amidst the chaos of Friday Night Fish Fry was worth its weight in gold! The waitstaff knew her, favored us and treated her clients (us) so well. I never thought of it but had it rained that night the hundreds of people there could have stampeded for shelter BUT our thought out location was covered! She stayed with us and after a few hours she reappeared and met us at a planned location and Sheppard us back to our hotel. After a few libations her care and experience was well worth this reasonable expense. We have done Friday Fish fry once before a few years ago so realize how lucky we were this time. It’s a wonderful mayhem and great experience but do it with this tour company!

This sounded like a great idea! However, Viator had misadvertised this by saying that dinner and a drink were included, however it is only includes a taxi to Oistins and a reservation at a restaurant. Nothing else was included and was therefore an extortionate amount of money for us to pay given that we were staying in St Lawrence Gap and could have got a bus there for virtually no money.
I would say that our taxi driver and the lady who arranges this particular tour were absolutely lovely, but it was a complete rip off with the misadvertised information.
