Driver was great!!! But the tour was just ok. There are no options to buy food for a five hour driving tour so plan ahead. Tastings were ok â tour guides were great. I wouldnât recommend this tour. It would be better with a smaller group and lunch at least available to buy.

Excellent tour. Included two tasting venues so we were quite tipsy at the end! Dexter was a great tour driver with good jokes.
The tasting guide at Mount Gay presented in a most entertaining way.
Highly recommend this tour if you like rum!

Very good experience. Friendly driver and well organized. Only feedback would be to offer higher end tastings. Both distilleries offered them if you asked. I had to rush the Foursquare one a bit because I didnât find out about it until later. I could have done that one instead of the basic tasting while the mass group was going. It could have been coordinated in advance as an option. That being said, from a base offering if just looking for a tour and tasting, would definitely recommend.

While some parts of the tour were interesting, I expected a more in-depth tour of the facility and not as much of a rum-tasting and marketing venue for selling their products.

Thank you for posting a review. I think itâs important for our future guest to note that at the Foursquare distillery. There is a tour of the distillery as well as rum tasting however, at the Mount Gay Visitor Center there is a tasting and a presentation about Mount Gay history of rum etc.

Great experience with Dexter a very entertaining driver. Packed us full of interesting information about Barbados on our way to and from the rum distilleries. The rum tours were also very interesting as were the tastings.

This tour is worth your time in Barbados! Our driver, Rooster, was the best! He gave a ton of fun facts about Barbados & basically gave us a tour of the island on the way to the distilleries. The distillery tours were both really fun too-Great rum & info. Because we went in the morning, I wish lunch had been added in the tour. Bring snacks if you do the 8am tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended. Dexter picked us up at the agreed time and headed to our first destination. He was really friendly and told us about different things of interest along the way. The first tour was very interesting and informative, with some great tasting rums at the end and a lovely little gift shop. We then boarded the bus again, and Dexter took us all round Bridgetown and to Rhiannaâs childhood home, which was a really nice detour. Our next rum tour was good, with a really funny guide. More rum tasting which was really interesting. Definitely worth going on.

We loved it! We had a morning departure, and we highly recommend a hearty breakfast because we tasted five different rums and one liqueur right at the very first stop đ Our driver was a relaxed guy who knew the detours to avoid city traffic, and we kept to the schedule very well. The guides at both locations were also expert and entertaining. I recommend this!

Dexter was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He took the time to show us the city of Bridgetown and explained cultural aspects of Barbados. The tour guides at the distilleries were very informative and welcoming. Tastings were plentiful. We had a great time.

We were picked up by Dexter at our hotel on time. He made us feel very relaxed on the way to collect the other tourists. He is a very knowledgeable gentleman and told us lots about the locations we were passing through. His bus/coach was immaculately clean. The tours, without guving too much away, were great with experts describing the rum production process, the history of rum making and the detail that goes into making different rum flavours. 2 rum tasting sessions in one morning! Have a big breakfast. In short a very informative morning for the rum beginner and expert a like. Loved it!

Really good time with the rum tasting tour!!!! The two different distillery approach the tours completely differently (eg one takes you through the actual processing plant), so really glad we got to experience both. Transport was timely and tour guides were excellent. Definitely worth booking!!!! My only small gripe is that the tour starts in the morning, and would have preferred more afternoon to start drinking, but Iâm not sure that that isnât because of the distillery operations and not the tour guides preference. So, just an fyi. Still, completely worth getting up, eating a solid breakfast, and heading to the tour and tastings,

The one thing I wanted to do on our trip to Barbados was to go to a rum tasting, and this tour really delivered. Getting to visit two different rum makers and sample TEN different rums was amazing. Dexter, our driver, was lively, talkative and gave us insights to the areas as we drove from place to place. Four Square was probably my favorite location, because you actually walk through the entire plant. Mount Gay gave a lot of history, with video from back in the 1930s showing how life was back then. I would 100% recommend taking this excursion. It is well worth the time.

Great morning out. Was picked up from our hotel then went to four squares distillery. Had the guided tour and sampled their rum then went to mount gay. Dexter our driver took us via Bridgetown and Rihanna drive so we got to see those too which was awesome

"Rooster" picked us up from our hotel and, after picking up the rest of the people attending, we made our way to the 1st stop. Very informative and, of cours,e getting to taste and buy the rums. Then we made our way to the 2nd location, all the while Rooster was giving us a driveby tour of the island. Eat a good breakfast because you will be drinking rum before noon!

Great relaxing half-day tour. The Foursquare distillery process and how they capture and use all their product elements was quite interesting. Their rums were top quality as well. The history of the Mount Gay distillery was interesting. Dexter, our driver, was very informative and nice.

Fantastic morning on the Rum tour. The driver was really friendly and talked to us about the history of Barbados and Bajan life. The tour was very informative. The Four Squares distillery was the best, great tour of the distillery and how rum is manufactured. Obviously the rum tasting was good too. Mount Gay visitors centre was also very informative and again the rum tasting was excellent. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Barbados

Visiting Foursquare was great and the tour was interesting. Mount Gay is more commercial but the guide was engaging. It was about a 45 minute drive in between but our driver kept us entertained.
We paid the full adult price for our 13 year old even though he was not drinking, which seems excessive.

This was so much fun ! They donât try to get you drunk but you will definitely leave happy lol everyone was so nice . You learn about the history of Barbados while enjoying the tour . Make sure u buy rum and rum cake there itâs cheaper !!!
