This experience was a delight! Derrick, the owner, was a great guide to the process of chocolate making, providing plenty of samples along the way. Fun and informative - we had a blast, and feel confident enough to try making some chocolate at home, too!

Locally produced chocolate factory with a 1.5 hour experience of tasting the chocolate and demonstration of how it is produced. The talk is done by the owner. At the end complimentary ice cream is given at the end.

Have never done a chocolate tour before and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Derek was fantastic - very informative. That man knows a lot about chocolate! Very interesting. Learned so much about the whole process of making chocolate from scratch, even got to make our own chocolate. The samples were super tasty and the ice cream was a welcome addition at the end of the tour. Absolutely would recommend it to everyone!

Really cool experience learning the steps of making chocolate and watching each machine process. The history of chocolate and sources of cocoa beans from around the world was also intriguing. We got to taste all the different types of chocolate and stages of the process. I can't believe I actually had my fill of chocolate for the day! Finished off the tour with a bowl of ice cream. The shop is small so there isn't a lot of walking, most of the tour is sitting on a large stool and listening to the owner. My 10 yo daughter enjoyed it and participated in parts of the process. Overall wonderful experience.

We had a great time and learned all about how chocolate is made starting with the beans themselves (you have to “shell” them) and goes through to the finished product. The owner conducted the tour and I would call him a chocolate artist. The chocolate is made on the premises which is not true of many other brands sold here. They also make ice cream and ice cream bars. Try the rum truffle bar and if you are adventurous try the 85% bar. You really must make time for this tour.

I've been on a number of chocolate tours but this tour does a great job of explaining the process from the bean to the final project. You even get to try the product at different stages in the process. Owner is self taught and has a fascinating story to share. Plus he's mastered a delicious final product!

The tour was very good and the owner of the chocolate factory was very knowledgeable. You get lots of chocolate samples and ice cream! You will be full of chocolate by the time you leave. It is nice tour because it only takes an hour and many of the other tours/activities take several hours and take up the day. We had plenty of time after the tour to enjoy our time in Bridgetown.

Tour was given by Derek, the owner of the chocolate factory. He was very knowledgeable and took us through the chocolate making process from bean to bar, excellent. We tasted a variety of their products whilst Derek explained the differences between them and then had a hands on demonstration of a number of the machines used in the production process. The tour was completed with a sample of the ice cream they also make. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour. Owner imparted a wealth of information about the process of fine chocolate making.
Tasted some of the raw materials used in the process as well as tasting several different kinds of chocolate made at this location.

This was such a treat! The smell of the roasted/ blending beans are heavenly to the nose and taste! I thought i was a chocolate snob before this tour; not sure how I will ever eat commercial chocolate again. Just might have to come back to Barbados!

Very informative history of chocolate and the chocolate making process. You are able to taste the chocolate during every stage of production. Proprietor was friendly and offered lots of information about his history and his products. Special Note: Try the coconut milk ice cream A+++

This is value for money. Derick the owner is very knowledgeable and interactive. He explained the processes, allowed us to add some ingredients, and lots of tasting. He also has a little cafe at the front. He is also very accommodating.

I am normally not a dark chocolate fan, but I LOVED the samples and brought some home! Derek, the tour guide and owner, produces small batches of dark chocolate bars in a variety of flavors that are amazing. He explained the process from the growth and variety of cacao trees to finished product. We learned a lot and will definitely visit the shop again if/when we're in Barbados!

Small group tour that was very informative. The owner conducted the tour and explained the history of chocolate and how they make it in the factory. He showed and explained each piece of machinery. We sampled the sugar and various chocolates, including chocolate in the process of being made to taste the difference in texture.
Easy walk from the cruise port - exactly as the directions described - straight down the street by the water to the first stop light and the shop is right there!
