Please be on time for your pick up For Cruise Ship Pick ups : When you disembark the cruise ship you will make your way through the cruise terminal. Please follow the green line on the ground to the general exit. At the general exit you will make a left turn making your way to the departure area for all tours. Your pick up will be at Gate #1

- If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. Thank you for your kind understanding.
- If you choose to make your own way back to the port at a later time the fee most taxis charge is US$5 per person.

That it is much more crowded than the pictures might imply and that all the things you see going on are not necessarily part of the day. You could easily be nickel and dimed if you allow it.

Nice beach but surf was very rough during our visit. Umbrella for each 2 beach chairs provided shade and one drink included (better quality products were pay).
Beach was crowded - chairs and umbrellas were close spaced 5-6 rows down the length of beach. Transportation bus was 15 min late departing - maybe due to missing people to fill bus - some people had to ride in center isle fold out seat.
We didn’t use return bus, caught cab back instead.

Great communication!! Received a text, in-app message and email confirmation. They were easy to find once we exited the port. NOTE: Whatever tour one books in Barbados, give yourself twice as much time as you think you will need to exit the cruise terminal! This is a working commercial port and we had to exit single file down the pier at least .3 miles - it took awhile.
The tour was simple but exactly what we wanted - a shuttle over to Savvy Beach and a day in the sand. The tour fee included the shuttle, beach access, chair, umbrella and one drink each. The only drawback was we wanted to go back earlier than the time we were given - the 3pm shuttle was already booked. Taxis are $5 a person if they can pack the car - for the two of us $15 - which … ok. We wanted to beat the crowd back down the pier.
That said, we would do this excursion again if we get the chance to return to Barbados. We appreciated the service and had a wonderful time!

Beautiful beach. The help was close to us selling the rides etc, and smoked pot non-stop. Beautiful fresh ocean air ruined by the constant smell of pot. Very inconsiderate!

If you want a beach day with easy transportation and reserved beach chairs and umbrella for a reasonable cost, this is a great consideration. The shuttle leaves the port and has a number of return time options. The beach is crowded, but to be expected at a popular destination. Lots of options for food and drink.

Generally, the excursion was done well. We found the pick up point easily. I think the driver should have pointed out where the restroom was before he left us. Took awhile to find it. We had a good day, but there were some high waves at the beach.

Beach chairs with zero views of the ocean. Smushed in like sardines and have to duck walk to get in and out of your chairs. The multiple times advertised went down to 2 options and the second option was only added because I complained. We can’t stay out in the sun for 6 hours.

This beach excursion was flawless. The meeting place was very easy to find and there were more than enough people to assist you. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We took a van to the beach where there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas waiting. The beach was beautiful and the location was perfect. The portion of the beach we were on was located right next to the Sandals resort. This also included a complimentary rum punch. When the driver let us off we agreed to a pick up time and he was waiting for us when we came off the beach.
There are many taxis you could take from the cruise port and then back to the boat without an excursion. But for the price we paid, the peace of mind that you had roundtrip transportation and reserved beach chairs and umbrellas made this excursion so worth it. Definitely would recommend this beach excursion.

Return times not as posted. We chose Cruise Passenger tour and staff at venue not aware of appropriate time to return to ship. Staff finally accommodated us, but not without our persistence.

Very organized from pickup to drop off! The beach was awesome. We got our complimentary drink and brought food from one of the food trucks on the property it was delicious and the swimming was superb!

The driver was fine, he did a good job. We did not like Savvy on the Beach. It was very crowded and loud. There are rows and rows of beach chairs and umbrellas. You are in close proximity to people. If you are not lucky enough to have a front row seat, your ocean view is very obstructed. The water was beautiful turquoise color. We got free drink each as part of the package. We prefer non touristy beaches and if you are the same, this one is not for you!

This was a wonderful day. My wife and I enjoy Beach days and this certainly met all of our expectations. We were picked up at the cruise port entrance at 10 am after a shuttle from our ship brought us to the front of the port. The company's shuttle bus trip was about 15 minutes to the beach from the port. And we were able to stay at the Beach for several hours.
We were given wristbands when we arrived, directed to lots of chairs where we could choose recliner chairs for ourselves with an umbrella. To our pleasant surprise we were also granted an included single drink at their bar, which could be an alcohol one from their selected list for this purpose.
The ocean water is very clear and the waves, we're very mild with no undertow. You're able to see your feet in the water it's so clear. They have a marked off area to swim in in the ocean as well as a giant inflated trampoline in the water & a couple inflatable slides. There's also the opportunity for additional money to rent a jet skis, go on a snorkeling trip boat for a 90 minute Excursion at a shipwreck as well as paddle boards.
There are food trucks there that you can order fruit from and prices are reasonable period the Barbados dollar is about two for one US dollar currently which helps make the price cheaper for US passengers. And there is a delightful enclosed and air conditioned ice cream, smoothie, shaved ice store that we went to twice among the food trucks.
We were picked up at 10:00 a.m. and brought brought back around 3:00 p.m., although we could have come back earlier.
Again, it was a delightful day & we would do it all over again.

Very easy to find the meeting point outside of the cruise terminal. The shuttle ride to the beach was nice and short. The duration was from 10am - 3pm. Savvy on the beach has really fine sand and clear blue water.

Transfers went smoothly, both to & from beach. Drivers were friendly & courteous.
Gorgeous beach but a bit spoiled for swimming by jet skis—whether anchored or in use. One also had to watch out for the anchors where there IS no jet ski tied up—easy to stub a toe—or worse—on the cement blocks. Additionally, with so many water craft around, the odor of fuel can be another hazard.
All that said, the beach is lovely, the water is clear, the chairs/umbrellas plentiful. The nearby bar & food trucks make it easy & comfortable to spend a day on Savvy Bay.
This excursion is a great option for Barbados.

Crowded, Trash on beach, dirty chairs. On the plus side everyone was polite to deal with. However, the printed literature with my ticket was inaccurate. It said there were 4 return times starting at 1 pm. However, there were only 2 returns at 2 or 3 pm.

Good service and easy to find meeting point. Beach was great and enjoyed the chairside service. Several food trucks to choose from. We choose convenience and ordered from the venue menu but it was mediocre (cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich and fries). They offered several additional activities that looked fun. Enjoyed the day and friendly service/shuttle.
