This experience was fantastic from beginning to end. They promptly picked me up from my hotel and were incredibly accommodating and helpful during snorkeling at both spots. I got to see everything I had hoped for. Afterwards, they allowed me as much time as I needed to relax on the beach before returning me to my hotel. Overall, it was an excellent service and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.

Bad Entrance and Departure From Tranquility Stand Experience

The activities were surreal in terms of the snorkeling 🤿, great time and help. However the customer service from tranquility was so poor at the entrance. The driver left us stranded at the entrance, where they were lots of people, we navigated our way to the Tranquility stand, got the ticket and snorkeling which went well. Only for us to realize the stands were closed, we waited till 5:15pm which was the time we were told we would be picked up back to the hotel, however, no cab or ride came. We ended up paying extra $25! Very bad.

A Day of Magical Snorkeling Marred by a Failed Shuttle and Poor Service

Our day started with an unforgettable snorkeling and beach experience that was the absolute highlight of our trip. For my six-year-old daughter, it was her very first time seeing fish, shipwrecks, and a sea turtle, and the wonder on her face was priceless. The star of the show was undoubtedly our boat guide, Giovanni. He was incredibly patient and friendly with my daughter, who trusted him immediately, and his kindness made her feel safe and confident in the water. Giovanni truly made the day magical for us.Unfortunately, the entire experience came crashing down at the end. We were scheduled for a 5:30 PM shuttle pickup back to our hotel. We arrived promptly at 5:25 PM only to be told the shuttle would be another 15-30 minutes. It never showed up. We were left stranded with no access to Wi-Fi to contact our family who was waiting for us at the Accra hotel at 6:00 PM. The bartender was incredibly rude and unhelpful when we asked for the Wi-Fi password. We finally got the password from another person who seemed to work there, but by then it was too late. My cousin eventually had to come and get us at 6:40 PM.While the on-water crew, especially Giovanni, was outstanding, the company's lack of hospitality and poor ground services were a major disappointment. It's a shame that such a beautiful and memorable experience on the water was ruined by the frustrating and unprofessional handling of the return shuttle. This is something the company absolutely needs to address.

Pick up at hotel was great...wonderful organization at Saavy. There was music and bars. Umbrellas and chairs. Water sports. Boat ride to see the turtles was awesome, and the crew made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Saw ship wrecks, turtles and fish.

We only used the beach day for this tour. The tranquility cruise and snorkeling was cancelled. We were so disappointed because we were looking forward to that. The lady said she would email about the refund. They never did. I called, chat...no response. We were not happy at least give the refund!

This was my favorite part of my visit. Snorkeling was magical; I saw 2 shipwrecks, swam amongst schools of fish, & a turtle almost bumped into my foot. Also, the beach chair w/ umbrella was the perfect way toto relax & enjoy Carlisle Beach.

After booking this trip, the company did not arrange a pick time and ignored my calls/messages until late into the day of the planned excursion. You shouldn’t have to chase after a company to arrange company as they should be contacting you. No apology for making me miss out on the day either. Lazy & unprofessional

Beautiful Barbados and Tranquility cruises only became aware that you were not picked up when you did not arrive for check in at our trailer to board Tranquility our snorkel boat. I went to Carlisle Bay and when I got there I was greeted by Caroline at the entrance, she is extremely knowledgeable, patient and welcoming she made sure that I was properly sorted with a beach chair. Whilst at the beach I chatted with Mario thw jetski operator who was also knowledgeable, we chatted as though we knew each other for years he made recommendations of things I could try whilst there, I did the snorkle cruise with captain Mick and his crew Mario and Giovani who helped me whilst in the water as I am a non swimmer. I was able to see turtles and the shipwreck which was beautiful!!!! I had a great time and would definitely recommend 👌

A fun but relaxing experience

This was by far one of the best experiences I had in Barbados! If you're lucky, Jenny will be your driver. She's from the UK but has lived in Barbados a long time. She's so pleasant and can tell you all about the island. I truly loved hearing about her family and her life stories. She dropped me off at Savvy Beach. I'm not one who likes to be on a rigid schedule so the option to relax on the beach as long as I wanted was well-received. The snorkeling trip was a great addition. It's a relatively shorter snorkeling trip but it's perfect if you don't want to be worn out the rest of the day. The guys managing the boat are quite entertaining. To top it all off, they were thoughtful and attentive. They gave me space when I wanted to manage on my own but gently stepped in when I had it all wrong. It became a running joke. Additionally, they worked with a couple that couldn't swim. We were all able to see young turtles swimming along the sea floor that they found for us. I highly recommend this excursion. If you run into Jenny, please tell her the solo lady traveler says hello.

An unforgettable experience! We swam with sea turtles, manta rays, and an amazing array of fish just off the coast in Carlisle Bay. The turtles would swim right up next to you - it was incredible. Plus we snorkeled over a shipwreck, which was a first for me. We were able to use our own snorkel masks and GoPro, which was great since we took so many great photos and videos. Highly recommend!

We saw many fishes, turtles, and stingrays. Staffs are very helpful. Water slide is fun. Beach is very nice and good facilities in the beach club. Really enjoyed the excursion!

No pickup from Cruise Ship

We specifically requested to be picked up at the cruise port and were given a specific time to meet the tour rep. No one showed up to take us to the Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Adventure and Beach Day. As a result we missed the adventure and were told by the Glory Tour Staff that the next departure was sold out. This was a $70. disaster as we did not have the cash with us to hire a taxi. Hopefully, Viator will refund our money. M. Smith

Great beach - poor snorkel trip

The boat trip was about 50 ft from shore, with a life vest you could have swam to where the boat took us. There was about 10 minutes with the turtles and 10 minutes with the shipwrek. The crew was very controlling - stay with the group, don't go off, come back here - even with very experienced snorkler's. We have been on LOTS of boat snorkel trios and usually the staff is very friendly, helpful, funny. This staff tried to be helpful but they wern't warm and welcoming. We usually tip very well and we didn't tip this team at all. No personality - just rules & regulations. The REALLY good part of the trip was the Barbados Copacobana beach club and beach - it was fantastic! WHITE beautiful sand and warm water - it was soooo nice. You go to the beach club before and after the boat trip since the boat trip is only about 45 minutes - 1 hour.

We were a 3-generation family and had a great time on this trip. All the crew were so attentive to the passengers. They helped young non-swimmers by using life rings as well as assisting older non-snorkelers with a safety buoy. We were fortunate to see lots of turtles. Also saw sand sharks and other fish.

If you do nothing else on your cruise / visit to the Caribbean, DO THIS! Absolutely the best experience - saw / got up close to several large and baby turtles, plus stingrays, shoals of coloured fish and shipwrecks etc. The guides can tell you all about the marine life and will help anyone nervous in the water / non-swimmers with floating rings etc.

Disorganized and Disappointing

Hotel pickup and return was very helpful, but the 90 minutes on snorkel boat was disappointing. Only one turtle seen by a few in the very cloudy water, plus a few fish near the shipwreck, which also was not visible. More time than needed at the hot, crowded beach, and two drinks, one fruit juice and one soda, were minimal. Staff was friendly and helpful, though. The snorkeling area was too busy and crowded to provide a quality experience.

The boat tour itself was brilliant, we saw turtles, stingray, shipwrecks. A lovely beach and reasonably priced food and drinks. This would have been a five star review if the sun beds were organised a bit better. We were told to sit in one area then we were moved and then they came back and told us to move back to where we had just been sitting, we also got off the boat and other people that weren't with tranquilty cruises had taken our seats. Still a very enjoyable day and we would do it again but take an underwater camera next time

This snorkelling trip was excellent. The tranquility boat is lovely and the captain and crew were so helpful especially Harry who helped calm my concerns about snorkelling in the water. They provided a float and life jackets to ensure the whole experience was enjoyable. We saw 3 turtles, a stingray and lots of colourful fish and coral around the shipwreck. I’d recommend this trip.

We had such a great time! The crew was really nice. They gave us some info before boarding and we stopped twice to see the turtles and the remains of a ship. Great experience, great price. No doubts, I would do it again!
