Our driver’s was Ahmed and he was such an amazing tour guide to the point where he made us feel like family. From getting us priority passes for the Harrison’s cave to taking us to the best viewpoints around the island, we had the best time! Request Ahmed for the best experience and hospitality. It was the perfect tour.
Great experience! Tour was customized and we were asked what we were interested in seeing.
We saw St John’s Church, Bathsheba Beach, Animal Flower Cave, beautiful cliffs and views, lunch at sand dunes with delicious macaroni pie, and Barbados Wildlife Reserve at feeding time to see monkeys turtles rooster. Great day all around. Entire family had a great day!
The driver was nice and very flexible. We saw some lovey sites in Barbados. The only reason that I did not rate this 5 stars is because the driver really should not ask people about their religion and quiz them on scriptures. It became uncomfortable after a while and we had to keep changing the subject. That was not what we were there for.
Very good knowledgeable driver in Ahmed, felt safe whilst he was driving. Lots. Of local knowledge treated us like family.
We had an absolutely delightful time with Ahmed, our driver. I tried to book a full day tour, but could only book a half day. He picked us up at 11:00, and didn't bring us back until 7:30! He drove us around the island, taking us to places we wanted to see, plus places he thought we needed to see! We saw St. John's Parish church, Harrison's Cave, the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, Cherry Tree Hill, the Morgan Lewis Windmill, St. Lucy's beautiful coast, and so many other beautiful spots. We stopped at a local lunch spot for flying fish. It was absolutely the best touring day!!
While visiting Barbados, I wanted to explore local spots, but communication with the tour company beforehand was poor—they never responded to my messages. My goal was to review options prior to tour day so that I could research the available options.
During the tour, safety was a concern as we were nearly in two accidents, and the driver didn’t seem to take it seriously. He also ignored our preferences—we said we didn’t want to visit Harrison’s Cave, but he took us anyway, and instead of a local restaurant, we were brought to a tourist-heavy spot.
Some of the information shared about the island also seemed inaccurate. I do recommend hiring a driver to explore Barbados, but I would not choose this company again.
We had a great time on this tour! Our guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable about the Island, and tailored the tour to accommodate us.
Our driver was Ahmed (?). He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, having lived there his entire life. He took us to all of the scenic places that we requested, and some that he thought would be of interest. Even as a half day excursion, it was a pretty full day, so I would not recommend much more than 4–5 hours.

Very knowledgeable guide/driver and we were given an excellent varied tour of the island as we didn’t have a pre- planned itinerary. It included an amazing trip to Harrison’s cave, island view points, local sites including Rihanna’s homes both old and new.
This was a great tour of the country. Ahmed was very knowledgeable about the history and culture and was an excellent driver. He also took us to a great restaurant for lunch. The vehicle was comfortable.
Ahmed is a fantastic guide! He took us on a tour of the interior and the East Coast, showing us beautiful highlights and hidden gems. He is incredibly knowledgeable and provided great commentary throughout the day. He also knows exactly where to go for the best local food—his lunch recommendation was perfect. 10/10 experience!
This was an excellent way to get to know more about the island. A great option if you are new to Barbados. A very informative guide (Ahmed), and a pleasant afternoon getting to see a number of things that we would never have found on our own
This was a great way to see the Barbados that’s outside Bridgetown and the beach hotels. Our guide Ahmed was really polite and very helpful and had in depth knowledge of the whole island. The stops were really good. Harrison’s Cave is spectacular and really enjoyed seeing it…..though we must say that even though we’d booked tickets in advance, we found their organisation and communication very poor. Ahmed helped stop us being overcharged and waited patiently for us to complete the delayed tour. We would definitely recommend using this tour to tailor make your own itinerary to see the rest of Barbados.

We had an amazing private tour of Barbados with Ahmed. The tour in a roomy, airconditioned van, included Harrison’s Caves, Hunte’s
Garden, a delicious lunch at the Sand Dunes, and an extensive tour of the island. Ahmed is born and raised in Barbados which shows in his knowledge and love of his country.
We didn’t want to do a tour from the resort because we don’t like a set itinerary or being on a bus full of people. So I chose this one because it was private and appeared to be flexible and it definitely was - exactly what we wanted. We had one place in mind we wanted to see and then were flexible on the rest. Ahmed told us what he would recommend and let us choose. Then took us by some historical and scenic spots just to see. He knew pretty much anything about the island (including where the absolute best cheesecake was). We felt completely safe and at ease the entire time. If I want to do anything else on the island, I would call him right back to take us.
We had a fabulous day with Ahmed! He brought us to all of the beautiful spots and educated us so thoroughly about the island, it's people, it's history, and economy. We loved it so much we can't want to come back!
Ahmed met us at the cruise terminal exactly as planned, showed us around the island for several hours, including lunch (flying fish and macaroni/cheese) then delivered us to the hotel.
He had so much knowledge of the island and showed us out of the way spots and Parishes. I so appreciate his time
We booked this trip because we weren’t sure exactly where we wanted to go. When we were picked up from our hotel, Ahmed was great! We went to the Caves which was a fun surprise experience as we had no idea about the history of the caves in Barbados. We also saw the eastern and northern part of Barbados and had lunch at a local spot which we enjoyed trying flying fish. It was a great day!
What a lovely way to experience, Barbados! Our tour guide/driver named Ahmed was a fountain of knowledge. We were able to tour the Mount Gay rum factory, visit the Harrison caves,, have a cheesecake tasting, and finally the animal flower caves
Enjoyable and informative tour with Ahmed. The St. Nicholas Abbey, Flower Forest and north coast were lovely. Great Barbadian lunch as well.

What a privilege it was to meet Ahmed our guide and driver , really polite and pleasant guy who’s knowledge of the island and history was outstanding only matched by his friendly manner . Took us to so many beautiful areas to see and to get great memories. We got a real feel of Barbados .Recommend a great place for lunch with the best cheesecake I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried lots of it over the years ). Well worth the money and recommend you book early then you have to option to go back to other places to spend more time if you wish. Amazing beaches , history and people.

We (two couples, who have been friends for decades!) had a wonderful half-day private tour!
Our tour guide and driver, Ahmed, was super polite, timely, and so informative about the island. He picked us up in a very roomy, clean, and luxurious van that was a comfortable way to sit for our tour. We had an idea about which landmarks we wanted to see, and we also had a rum tour scheduled and Ahmed was terrific about getting us to all of our locations on time and was so full of terrific details about the island that we did not know about. We highly recommend this tour & we definitely recommend Ahmed!!

Ahmed was AMAZING! I didn’t know him however he was mentioned in other reviews so I requested him. We got lucky as I was pleasantly surprised when he introduced himself. He was patient, respectful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. He asked us what we wanted to do. Harrisons cave was on my list and I left the rest up to him. He did not disappoint! We started at St. John’s church, went to the cave, to hunts garden, to a nice lunch, a tour of Barbados, the parliament, heard about how the country supports the people etc. Whatever question my husband asked, he answered. The cave was Fabulous, a must see. We also went to the Animal Flower restaurant. The restaurant was closed and the staff was leaving, however Ahmed was able to get us 10 minutes to see the view, take pictures before the staff left. He was mindful to not keep them waiting. Just a wonderful thoughtful soul.
Can’t wait to come back and have Ahmed show us the rest of the island.
