We had a great time. The experience with a private tour was awesome. We covered more areas than we anticipated! Kenneth was a wonderful guide. He showed us the best spots, took our pictures and kept us on schedule. This is definitely the way to travel!

We joined about five tours via this Viator platform when my family and I visited New Zealand recently. And I can safely say only this tour is run more like a proper tour because the guide Kenneth was a terrific professional tour guide. The other ‘guides’ were merely behaving more like a driver for us. If so, I might as well hire a car and move around. As I said, there is no complaint about Kenneth. He is friendly, knowledgeable and took us to all those places listed in the itinerary and on time to watch the Lady Knox Geyser show. Totally worth it. If there is any misgiving about the trip, it is that despite having paid so much, the operator could have sent a van or better vehicle to take our family of three around. Instead, they used a small car.

Kenneth was our terrific guide on this trip. We saw so many highlights of the region. The geothermal park was amazing. The waterfall areas were stunning and the redwood forest was definitely a highlight.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery on this trip that was well guided by Kenneth who was very accommodating. Good way to visit the area if you don’t have a car but it was expensive for what it was.

This was full day of exploring some of New Zealand's natural wonders. Our guide, Katherine, was informative and pleasant. She gave several talks about the upcoming places and let us explore spots alone. Stops and breaks were well timed. We had fun trying the Hole in One Challenge at Taupo. Our first time using a private guide and I am very glad we did.

We (3adults) took a 12 hour private tour with Han and it couldn’t have been better. Everything was on time from pickup to getting to each attraction. He even detoured to Aratiatia which was not on the itinerary but on our request.
I consider Han to be an excellent driver and perfect guide. I highly recommend taking this tour.

We had a personal driver, Katherine. She was great. She knew a lot about New Zealand, had a positive attitude and was willing to take photos of us so we could have memories . Without her we wouldn’t have been able to experience all these spots in NZ.

Our guide & driver Han was exceptionally good in guiding us to beautiful places in Rotorua, Taupo, Waiotapu, Hukka Falls etc. He made sure to cover all highlights in a single day with great time management. I’d definitely recommend him for a fantastic trip.

This was an absolutely amazing experience & truly a day full of adventure.
