Our base is at Unit 8/145 Quay Street on Princes Wharf – right in the heart of the city. The location on Princes Wharf is very central and close where the cruise ships dock and to many of the hotels in the city centre. Feel free to arrive about 5-10 minutes ahead of the start time.

- For your enjoyment and safety, groups are small and personal, so a maximum of 6 riders per group, plus friendly guide
- Minimum age 14 years old (teenagers of 14-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult).
- Minimum rider height is 5 foot (152cm).
- Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
- Whilst experience riding an electric bike is not necessary (we'll provide an orientation and we'll do a test ride to make sure you're comfortable before we head off), you must of course be able to ride a bike! If you haven't ridden in a while, for your enjoyment/safety and that of your fellow riders, we strongly recommend you have a practice riding at home before your visit to Auckland. As well as riding on our wonderful cycleways, we will of course be riding in the road at times (to get to the good places!). Riding in traffic is a dynamic environment, so you will need to be comfortable riding in the road in order to enjoy the tour. And Auckland's volcanic past means that there a quite few hills to go up and down - the eBikes make going up easy, but you'll obviously need to be able to ride downhill! - Closed toe shoes are required. Sports gear not necessary, casual clothes are fine but dress to the conditions please.
- Free storage available for small bags at the city centre departure point.
- The tours run rain or shine, you will be provided free use of a bright and comfortable rain jacket, if you need one.
- Our electric bikes are designed with a maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds (113 kg).
- We recommend you bring sunscreen - the sun in NZ can be very harsh.
- You may also wish to bring a bottle of water with you for the ride. You can store that in the bag on your bike. The is also a water fountain near our departure point - if you need to fill up your water bottle.
- Whilst we welcome solo riders, this experience requires a minimum number of riders booked in order for it to go ahead (2). If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll either be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

There was a miscommunication about the date of our tour, so the owner, Eddie, graciously stepped in and gave the tour himself. Super knowledgeable about Auckland /New Zealand in its history. All the writing was safe. The e bikes were in really good shape. In the end, he will provide you with the map of what you’ve ridden, and pictures taken at certain spots. We had a really fun time.

We had a lovely morning out with Dennis. He was great about telling us in advanced about turns, steep hills, traffic situations, etc. he was also knowledgeable in a lot of the local community. Overall a great experience!

This electric bike tour exceeded my expectations! Our guide, Eddie was professional, knowledgeable and fun! The ride went all over the city and moved at a very nice pace. The sites were breathtaking and the bikes were wonderful. All the equipment they provided was first class and clean. A terrific experience, can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour.

Eddie was excellent. He was friendly and informative and very easy to understand. We appreciated the fact that he didn't cancel even though we were the only 2 that signed up (it's the start of the off season). My bike seat kept dropping down and after multiple attempts to fix, he quickly biked back to shop and brought a new bike which made a huge difference.

Fantastic tour that did exactly what we wanted…got us out of the tourist port area and into the city to see areas we never would have. Our guide Ruben was excellent. The ability to have the audio so you could hear everything he said was awesome…and also much safer given all of us were Americans driving on the wrong side of the road :) Highly recommend!

The tour uses power assist bikes which can be set to varying levels of power when you pedal. This give good control and is very handy with stop and start urban routes. The steepest hills are easy.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had many good insights on Auckland, and New Zealand history and culture.

This excursion is a great way to see Auckland. Bikes were high quality and easy to use (my wife had not ridden an e-bike before), with great power to climb hilly Auckland. Our guide was very informative and narration through individual headsets was very good. Felt safe riding primarily on trails. Tour started and ended very near the ship. The pictures, videos and our ride animation were a wonderful bonus to this wonderful experience. Big thumbs up!

Really enjoyable trip taking in lots of places we would have otherwise missed. The waterfront area was good to explore, another highlight Mount Eden with amazing views across the city. Electric bike made light work of steep inclines and headwind!

This was one of the absolute best bike tours we have ever done (and we do quite a few). Very organized but super fun. And the amount of assistance you get on the e-bike is up to you—I wanted a bit of a workout so only used the minimal amount. But others in our group wanted a relaxing ride so bumped up the assist. Perfect! Carson was the perfect host—took great care of us and even told quite a few “dad” jokes. Brilliant!

After a great tutorial with the e-Bike, Carson gave a great riding overview of the marina, neighborhoods, Mt Eden, Museums, and downtown areas where you can find fantastic restaurants. Carson was super friendly, knowledgable, and easy to talk with. Highly recommend!!

Carson was the absolute BEST! Our safety was a big part of the tour and he was able to make all the routes very accessible. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about New Zealand and was able to answer all my questions! We had two bathroom breaks and a stop for a drink! Highly recommend to get a locals perspective on anything you need first days in NZ!

This was a fun way to explore the city. We all wore a head set so the guide could communicate with us and give us a commentary as we rode past different sights. The pace was good, so that we were able to ride together as a group and not get separated. I really enjoyed this tour
