Description differences but good

When looking at the description " romantic Auckland sunset tour with winery and thermal pool", our understanding of the tour was met with courtesy and professionalism of a local driver raised in the area. His knowledge was great, good conversation and would work with again. the tour description of thermal pool was a location called palm springs which had 4 pools, shallow cold water, warm pool with adults and children, warmer thermal pool with most adults and a hotter for adults only. the pools were up to 1.7 meters and clean. lockers and changing areas available. not romantic, but nice . The winery (the hunting Lodge) was a winery with a restaurant, outdoor and covered Ala cart area with wine/ beer , but no wine tasting was offered as described. the food was great and the wine we did have was very good. the sunset was spectacular and black sand beach was great. Was enjoyable and nice way to see the northern area of Auckland,

Great Evening at the Beach

Sean was one of the most accommodating guides you can ask for. He did everything humanly possible for us to get the most out of this tour. When we decided to pass on an after dinner thermal bath he suggested we take the ferry back to the city (he met us there to take us back to our hotel).

Relaxing Experience

Really fun and relaxing experience. The pools were great, clean changing area and bathrooms too. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and I missed the sunset on my tour but the beach was still a gorgeous sight.

Sean was a great guide! So knowledge about New Zealand and so nice! The geothermal pools were so relaxing. It sadly rained very hard when we went on the tour, so we were unable to see the sunset but Sean made sure we still had an amazing time! Will definitely do again the next time I’m in Auckland 😀

Sean was an absolute gem! So kind and very knowledgeable on Auckland history. It is a private tour which I appreciated, as sometimes with a lot of people it can be overwhelming. This tour is great to do alone or with close friends and family. The thermal pools really did put the icing on top of the cake, the waters were so relaxing. He is also a great photographer haha I got really great pictures! 10/10 would recommend

This was a most pleasant excursion. The tour guide, Sean, whose experience in hospitality is evident, was a fabulous host. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Although the weather prevented full view of a sunset, the tour, which I re-baptised a twilight tour, is a must! It was a smooth drive in a very comfortable vehicle to experience breathtaking views and super relaxing private moment enjoying the hot springs. I only wish my hubby had been with me! I highly recommend this trip to couples, family or for a girls trip away! I would qualify it as child-friendly also. For a touch of luxury, bring a bottle of sparkly to enjoy on the beach! 😝
