Just did a sunset cruise in Aruba yesterday and I’m still thinking about it 😍🌅
From the moment we got on the boat, the vibes were perfect! music playing, drinks flowing, and the crew was super friendly and made sure everyone was having a good time. The views were honestly unreal… watching the sun set over the water like that felt like a movie.
Everything was really well organized, and it didn’t feel rushed at all. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and fun. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
If you’re coming to Aruba, I 100% recommend doing a sunset cruise—it’s such a beautiful experience and worth every second ✨🌊

We did the sunset cruise and it was such a great experience! The crew, the food, the drinks, the views, the fun, relaxed atmosphere - everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

The experience was lacking in many ways. First, the drinks which were offered were mostly high sugar drinks and certainly not up to par for a typical sunset cruise. Second, the appetizers were served cold and flavorless. They included a cold quiche, a cold bbq meatball and cold wings. The staff were ok but very much focused on a few women who looked liked they could be girlfriends/locals.

I regret that the drinks did not meet your expectations. Taste can of course vary among guests, but your comments are noted. I will also be looking into the appetizers served that day, as we typically receive very positive feedback on our food selection.

Clean and beautiful boat. A few things to note: drink quality extremely poor (not the quality of liquor, just a bartending skill issue. Told us to arrive at 5 to board at 5:30 and we sat out there without being helped until way past 5:30. We had all our waivers already signed. Our cruise was overbooked, so there were 10+ people with no seats. I tipped as I drank more and more, but as i was getting off the boat the first mate yelled “what, no tip?!?” And i let him know i tipped already but that was the moment i decided to write this review.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your feedback. While the time between arrival and boarding can feel long, it’s meant to ensure all guests are processed and we can depart on time. On your sail, this took longer than, and we ended up leaving at 17:40. The captain made sure that it remained a 2 hour experience, by making it back to the pier at 19:40 PM.
Our Sunset Sail is very popular, but we always operate well within the certified capacity of the vessel.
The comment regarding tipping is not acceptable and will be addressed internally.

The cruise itself was very nice. The boat was nice and there was plenty of room to move around. The drinks were good, appetizers were ok, tho not plentiful.

This was an excellent excursion that we purchased independently from our cruise ships excursion. We had a late departure of 10pm, all aboard by 9.30pm therefore with this excursion timing of 5.30-7.30pm it was great. Excellent tour lovely staff who did well with safety briefing and what was going to occur. Be prepared for a packed boat but we found a seat ok. Drinks and nibbles served. Very nice. Beautiful evening out and felt safe at all times. We caught a local bus from cruise terminal and local bus back. Intended to catch a taxi back but could not find any, however a bus came along. We are in our mid 60’s.

The music is very loud. No service provided. People took refreshments at the bar with their hands It’s unacceptable. And food was not good very poor quality. No entertainment

This doesn’t sound like the experience we aim to deliver, and based on what you’ve described, it actually doesn’t align with how we operate our Sunset Sail.
Our sunset sails are designed to be relaxed and scenic, not a loud party environment and music is kept at a level that complements the experience rather than dominates it. In addition, our crew serves appetizers directly to guests; we don’t operate a self-service setup where guests handle food at the bar.
Because of these differences, it appears you may have joined a similar excursion with another operator.

Great experience but they walk around with the appetizers which consisted of each person getting one or two bites of food so don’t go on the boat hungry.

There were only three appetizers, but that isn't what you are going for. It's the views, and boy will you get those. The crew... AMAZING!! Dion was our captain and music curator, Lizzy was our director (not actually sure of her title). She was super fun and made sure everyone was having a good time. Our first mate, whose name I can't remember, was so sweet and engaging. Helping people on and off the boat, managing the bar and many other things during our trip. This crew obviously worked together often as they played off of each other easily.
This is a MUST do during your visit.

Without a microphone, we could not hear the instructions. A suggestion might be, before the catamaran leave the dock and no wind
Also for the few snacks, instead of a little napkin, a small paper plate would be helpful.

When there is little wind at the dock it can be harder for guests to hear, and we’ll review this with our crew to ensure everyone can clearly hear the briefing.
