Your tour departs from the Octopus Aruba beach hut which is located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, please walk through the lobby until you reach the beach area. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right.

Your maritime journey begins at the Octopus Aruba beach hut where you board your catamaran to begin your afternoon sailing adventure along the Aruban coastline.
Make two snorkel stops: the first is the legendary shipwreck 'Antilla,' a 1939 German freighter sunken during World War II. Spend 45 minutes exploring this intact underwater marvel, delving into its historical significance and captivating marine life.
The second stop is at Malmok Reef, situated in the shallow waters of Catalina Bay where you can spot angelfish, damsel fish, octopuses, sea fans, and coral in these pristine waters.
As you explore, savor refreshing drinks from the open bar and indulge in a sandwich lunch provided onboard. The experience concludes back at the Octopus Aruba beach hut.

- Children are welcome and infants under two cruise free
- Boarding takes place via a spacious shuttle boat (for up to 15 people) that transports guests to the catamaran. This shuttle, like all our vessels, undergoes inspection every six months to ensure safety and quality. From the beach hut (where check-in takes place), it’s a short 30-meter/ 98 foot ride to the catamaran. This area of the sea is as calm as a lake, with little to no waves throughout the year

What a great experience! The captain and crew were amazing. The hospitality was top tier. This is my 3rd time snorkeling but this was definitely the best experience I’ve had. I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Aruba.

The six of us loved this! It’s a home run you get your bang for your buck.. the shipwreck is cool drinks keep coming and some live entertainment from the dancing pirate!

A great day on the water. Snorkeling, swimming and sunning. Drinks were perfect. I had requested gluten free lunch and it was perfect.

This was actually a really awesome experience. The boat wasn’t too crowded. There was plenty of swim time, and the crew made sure everyone was having a fun time.

This was a great experience our second time just as the first. My husband and I came back in 2022 and got the same exceptional service that we got then this go round! I was upset that I couldn’t get stay in the ocean long because of my new tattoo, however the Captain respected my wishes and gave me a life jacket tied it tight and told me float. Surprisingly I didn’t get the tattoo wet lol. The snacks were great and Más was so funny. Definitely a 10/10 experience for sure !

Would totally recommend the octopus snorkeling trip! The staff were 5 stars (huge shout out to Maurice) he is amazing and such a wonderful crew member. Went on the tour with my husband for our honeymoon. During snorkeling they make sure you are safe. Thank you!

This was a fun experience. Easy to find the meeting spot on beach. Crew was very friendly, informative and fun. Roger, Mass, Chris and Seeger were excellent hosts. Beautiful views of the ocean going to the two locations to snorkel. First location was more choppy, but was to be expected because of the location of the shipwreck, further out in the ocean. Second location the water was much more calmer, we could see more fish, turles and relaxing swimming. We enjoyed our day trip, thank you!

The staff was great, the food was really good and they were very accommodating for my husband’s celiac disease. The only reason for the four stars was the boat needed some repairs, but otherwise everything was wonderful. I do think all of these tours should scatter their times. Too many tours in the same place at the same time.

I did not do any snorkeling but other passengers told me the swimming and snorkeling was great. The food and drinks during the excursion were delicious and had quite a bit of variety, which was nice! The food and drink were also delicious.
One of the crew members, Jose, entertained those of us who didn’t snorkel with fun riddles and card tricks! Honestly worth the price of admissions alone. Our captain, Vincent, was extremely personable and spent time talking with those of us who did not swim as well, and was extremely knowledgeable about swimming conditions, the area, and its history!
100% would do another one of these excursions on a future visit!

Very terrible experience!! First time in Aruba and I’ve texted and called multiple times a hour before sailing and no communication in exact location while being located on the beach of dock. Very terrible customer Service when trying to communicate on proper accommodations.

In addition, the exact meeting location is clearly explained on our website and in the confirmation email sent after booking. Guests can also easily find and navigate to our location through Google Maps by searching for our company name.
We understand your frustration if you arrived too late and were unable to board the boat. However, we make every effort to provide clear communication and multiple ways for guests to reach us before their tour.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure all guests can easily find us and enjoy their experience with us.
The crew was great. Very attentive, helpful. The snorkeling at sunken ship was a new experience but second spot we stopped was poor at best. No coral and no color. But maybe we have our selves to blame for destroying things.

Conditions can vary quite a bit depending on weather, currents, and marine life activity on any given day, and visibility or coral appearance isn’t always consistent across locations. The trip was cancelled with only 15 minutes notice. (We had an 81 year old with us). We rebooked with another company and are awaiting our refund. I recommend booking via pelican and not octopus!
Octopus communication was awful!
Nice chill vibe. The crew was informative. Patient with taking everyone’s pictures and helping them with the lifevest. The light refreshments and snacks was a sweet generous gesture. Was a good time. Laid-back not so much Lit based off the music selection, but I recommend.

Snorkel in 60 ft deep water with life vest. Don't be scared. The shipwreck do exist.
You won't need to buy drinks. Drinks are good. Unless you're beer person, that's an extra charge.

The experience was great! I booked the excursion so that my husband and friends could snorkel. I normally am pretty scared to do it. But We had the wonderful Jose on our trip and he assured me I would be okay! And I was! I was so thankful he gave me the experience.

It was amazing! Boat crew was super friendly and full of good info. First dive location a little rough, but still super fun. 2nd location had sea turtles and all kinds of fish! Drinks always flowing and delicious snacks were awesome! Highly recommend!

What a fun trip. The staff on board was great! Service with a smile and super accommodating. The only downside is there aren’t many fish to see in the waters off Aruba, but we did see turtles. Would definitely do it again if I were to return to Aruba.

The staff/crew were sooooooo amazing. They brought around lots of food and kept asking to get us more drinks. Everything was delicious. The catamaran moves slowly, so no issues about it being too rough. The crew helped everyone with gear for snorkeling and were so attentive- even brought me a pillow to rest my back! Would highly recommend and it was a great price compared to other comparable tours. They also gave us souvenir drinking cups to take home. We were very impressed with the crew. Would do this again when we come back. Highly recommend. There were also several elderly people on the tour and they were very kind and helpful to everyone.

Great boat ride, however snorkeling was not great because of cloudy water. Didn’t see much of anything… still had fun and drinks were unlimited.

This was our second excursion aboard the Octopus this trip because we so thoroughly enjoyed our previous visit with friends.
Experienced, safety minded, courteous and friendly crew made for memorable and enjoyable snorkeling activities for us and our family. The drinks were plentiful and the food top rate. Captain Martin, Shaq, Juan and ??? Exceeded our expectations.
