Your tour departs from the Octopus Aruba beach hut which is located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, please walk through the lobby until you reach the beach area. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right.

Your maritime journey begins at the Octopus Aruba beach hut where you board your catamaran to begin your afternoon sailing adventure along the Aruban coastline.
Make two snorkel stops: the first is the legendary shipwreck 'Antilla,' a 1939 German freighter sunken during World War II. Spend 45 minutes exploring this intact underwater marvel, delving into its historical significance and captivating marine life.
The second stop is at Malmok Reef, situated in the shallow waters of Catalina Bay where you can spot angelfish, damsel fish, octopuses, sea fans, and coral in these pristine waters.
As you explore, savor refreshing drinks from the open bar and indulge in a sandwich lunch provided onboard. The experience concludes back at the Octopus Aruba beach hut.

- Boarding takes place via a spacious shuttle boat (for up to 15 people) that transports guests to the catamaran. This shuttle, like all our vessels, undergoes inspection every six months to ensure safety and quality. From the beach hut (where check-in takes place), it’s a short 30-meter/ 98 foot ride to the catamaran. This area of the sea is as calm as a lake, with little to no waves throughout the year

What a great experience! The captain and crew were amazing. The hospitality was top tier. This is my 3rd time snorkeling but this was definitely the best experience I’ve had. I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Aruba.

Snorkel in 60 ft deep water with life vest. Don't be scared. The shipwreck do exist.
You won't need to buy drinks. Drinks are good. Unless you're beer person, that's an extra charge.

The experience was great! I booked the excursion so that my husband and friends could snorkel. I normally am pretty scared to do it. But We had the wonderful Jose on our trip and he assured me I would be okay! And I was! I was so thankful he gave me the experience.

It was amazing! Boat crew was super friendly and full of good info. First dive location a little rough, but still super fun. 2nd location had sea turtles and all kinds of fish! Drinks always flowing and delicious snacks were awesome! Highly recommend!

What a fun trip. The staff on board was great! Service with a smile and super accommodating. The only downside is there aren’t many fish to see in the waters off Aruba, but we did see turtles. Would definitely do it again if I were to return to Aruba.

We had an amazing snorkeling experience on the boat! The crew was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. They made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we had everything we needed. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, with clear water and plenty of marine life to see. The staff/crew were sooooooo amazing. They brought around lots of food and kept asking to get us more drinks. Everything was delicious. The catamaran moves slowly, so no issues about it being too rough. The crew helped everyone with gear for snorkeling and were so attentive- even brought me a pillow to rest my back! Would highly recommend and it was a great price compared to other comparable tours. They also gave us souvenir drinking cups to take home. We were very impressed with the crew. Would do this again when we come back. Highly recommend. There were also several elderly people on the tour and they were very kind and helpful to everyone.

Great boat ride, however snorkeling was not great because of cloudy water. Didn’t see much of anything… still had fun and drinks were unlimited.

This was our second excursion aboard the Octopus this trip because we so thoroughly enjoyed our previous visit with friends.
Experienced, safety minded, courteous and friendly crew made for memorable and enjoyable snorkeling activities for us and our family. The drinks were plentiful and the food top rate. Captain Martin, Shaq, Juan and ??? Exceeded our expectations.

We took a one o'clock snorkel cruise. The crew was awesome and very attentive. The captain Vincent was phenomenal. The food was great and they even made me a gluten option for each course. The open bar was perfect but you could also add in beer and wine for a small fee. The boat held about 25 or so people . We will do it again!!

I took my aging parents on this tour. I chose Octopus because, after reading reviews of this tour and many others, it appeared to be the most family-friendly and relaxed of the options. We were not interested in a "party boat" with loud music and people taking full advantage of the free drinks. I chose right! The care and attention that the crew of the Octopus provided from start to finish was fantastic. Vincent and Richard were attentive, friendly and informative. The amount of food they provide is perfect and well spread out throughout the tour. Yes, there are free drinks provided and those who wanted to partake did, but it did not interfere with our experience. While the snorkeling spots weren't the most incredible I've ever experienced, they were very enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour!

When we first arrived at the meeting point, we were worried we’d made a horrible mistake booking a tour on a boat for 30+ people (we’re a bit antisocial), but we were lucky enough to be on a tour with a family of 14 from all over the US that were just lovely. TBH, it’s almost impossible for me to separate my review of the tour from how wonderful it was to chat with this family, but I’ll do my best! Our captain, Richard was fun, but not in a “oh no, is he just here to have fun?” kind of way, and the rest of the crew was also excellent. At the first snorkeling stop for the shipwreck, I saw a sea turtle and got to swim with it for quite a while, which was great! The second stop also had a lot of great snorkeling, with tons of varieties of fish behind giant rocks near the shore. We didn’t eat the food on board (we’d already eaten), but other guests seemed happy with it. I had a few drinks that were as good as you’re going to get on a catamaran tour. The only real negative for me was that the snorkeling gear was awful, and I really wished that I had brought my own. Otherwise, definite recommend.

It was an amazing experience. The snorkeling is great and the drinks kept flowing. I also let them know ahead of time about my family doesn’t eat pork and there were 12 of us. They made sandwiches specifically for us to enjoy. And you get to keep the cup when you leave.

Great sailing experience but not good snorkeling. The boat was almost to capacity so there were seats for everyone. The various snacks and the cocktails were fine. The captain and crew were absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this activity if you are not focused on the snorkeling.

We switched at the last minute and did the sunset sail. We had Richard, Jamel, Jose and Davino leading our sail. Drinks were flowing from your first step on until your last step off. They were all remarkable and kept the mood going. We are bringing family back this summer and we plan on requesting this same crew. Book with them and you won’t be disappointed!!!

This was great - our captain Martin & his crew were helpful & fun to spend the afternoon with. Very knowledgeable about the area & its history. They had tons of varieties of alcohol & mixers & frequent snacks so the booze doesn’t hit you too hard. Will absolutely go again!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Experience
We were really looking forward to our Catamaran VIP Afternoon Delight trip, but unfortunately, the experience was ruined before it even started. We arrived just a few minutes late because parking in the area was a nightmare — something that should really be considered given how difficult it is to find a spot nearby. Despite this, the boat left without us, and the company refused to offer any refund or even partial compensation.
We completely understand the importance of being on time, but for a customer-focused company, there should be some level of understanding and flexibility, especially when it’s clear we made the effort to get there. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to help was extremely disappointing.
For anyone booking this excursion, be aware that they will leave without you — even if you’re just a couple of minutes late — and won’t refund your money. Definitely not the level of service we expected for a premium experience.

Check-in: 30 minutes before start time
Boarding: 15 minutes before start time
Important: Boarding closes 5 minutes before departure, we don’t want you to miss the boat.
Our boarding process follows these times strictly to guarantee that every guest who arrives on time enjoys the full experience without delay. Many of our visitors have other activities or cruise ship schedules afterward, so departing on time is an important part of the professional service we provide.
We also want to note that there is ample parking available, including a multi-level parking garage just a 2-minute walk from our check-in location, as well as several open lots within 2 to 4 minutes walking distance.

Our group had such a wonderful experience on the Octopus Catamaran excursion. The captain and crew were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable—making the entire trip both fun and informative. They patiently guided us on how to use the snorkeling equipment and offered extra support to those who were trying it for the first time, which made everyone feel comfortable and included.
Exploring the sunken shipwreck and swimming among the vibrant tropical fish was truly unforgettable. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious, the drinks flowed throughout the day, and the upbeat island music created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy Aruba’s crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery.

This is definitely for those looking to relax for a few hours with drinks and some finger food.. A very laid back experience! Drinks were pretty good and the host was really sweet and very helpful. However the skipper/captain’s attitude was a bit dry and uninterested. He didn’t really seem interested in the guest at all which made the atmosphere a little boring since the host was the only person greeting, serving and assisting even when the boat stopped for snorkeling.
This was definitely not for me but w/e.. to each its own
