It was really fun and worth it. We stayed there until 4:45 pm and did a lot of activities like the banana boat and we also did snorkeling. There are also slides and a small area water park for kids. There is also a buffet included which was delicious! Will definitely be coming back again.

We decided to take a taxi to the ferry, instead of going through the tour. We had a great day and experience. The food was tasty and the drinks were good too. We snorkeled and used the slides. We did not go on the inflatables, but they looked like fun.

The tour guide was on time and very informative. He stuck to the schedule and we had the full 2 hours at the beach. The beach was awesome and clear. The service was great there too. We got back in time to change and go back out to the downtown area.

    Great for.Kids

    Mrroalfra2000, Aug 2026
The pickup & transportation to the island was very smooth. They welcomed us with mimosas, which was nice. The snacks, lunch & drinks were plenty full and good. We enjoyed seeing the flamingos too. I felt the island was more geared towards children than adults. There is no natural way to access the beach as it was very rocky at the beginning. I did get a good hour nap in though. The beach chairs were comfortable under the tiki umbrellas. The ppl were accommodating. However I felt it was too many hours advocated to this excursion but I would do it again for the relaxation.

    Good!

It's very nice to see the first time you go to Aruba, but I wouldn't do it again. It's great if you go with the family.

This was a great experience! Soich for the kids to do and the lines weren't long at all. We rented a private beach cabana to make sure we were near the flamingos. Not sure that was worth it as there was a beach area where you could get very close to them and there was so much to do that we weren't in the cabana much. Other than that, it was top notch!

    Hospitality

    Luis_H, Aug 2026
Love this place wish I didn't have to take my shoes to some.of the wayersports as those rocks are hard and can hurt as you walk but everybody in this island is amazing great amazing time, hospitality on point.

    Fun Day- a little confusing

    Jennifer_K, Aug 2026
We were not informed about the bus departure and the bus left without us and we had to pay $50 each for 2 cabs.

    Amazing experience

We had a great time. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. I would recommend taking water shoes for ocean area.

    Great day @ DePalm Island

    Gerard_F, Aug 2026
Very convenient pick-up at the hotel and delivery back at the end of the day. Pleasant short boat ride to the Island. We were here 3 years ago and went back on this visit. They've invested more and expanded some attractions. Place is very clean and staff is all very courteous and helpful. The day will fly by because there is a lot to do there small children and up through teenagers. Food is good and reasonable variety. Lot's of variety of drinks from water, carbonated, juices, smoothies and alcohol. Felt safe the whole day. It's a family place so no rowdies around. Even as the family gets older, we'd go back on our next visit.

    Flamingo Time

Be sure to book the Coral Cove for the best interaction with the Flamingos. Sol and Keshia are the BESTEST Employees They made our experience absolutely unforgettable. We will be going back!🦩

    Misleading

    Marlene_C, Jul 2026
The experience was great but definitely misleading which is the reason for the 3 star rating. The excursion presents as if it’s the same as flamingo island/ renaissance and it is not. If you want to be in the ocean with the flamingos there is an extra charge. It was lovely but disappointing. We got 5 minutes with the flamingos for pictures and you also can’t feed them. Overall it was decent but I would not do it again.

Our family of 12 had a wonderful day on De Palm Island! The bus picked us up and the ferry took us over to the island. We spent about 6 hours on the island and really enjoyed it all! The banana boat, the obstacle course, the slides, the snorkeling and the unlimited food and drinks were all great! Would highly recommend! It was a great way to start off our Aruba vacation!

    Not a fan

    kayla_M, Jul 2026
Honestly did not like it at all the lines were long for drinks and food. Chairs were covered in bird poop and the water was really aggressive during the snorkeling. Way too many people in one area. It also smelled like sewage in a lot of places.

It was a fun trip. The staff there were great and helpful. Tip, if you want tonsee the flamingos, you need to purchase the add on package ahead of time, they sell out. We tried to purchase the add on there but couldn't. Luckily one of the park rangers said they would let us tonthe flamingo side and give us a short tour and let us take pictures. They were so kind.

Omg amazing the hospitality couldn’t be any better especially the two young men who worked at the banana boat. They deserve 100 stars for making everyone laugh and feel young again.

    odaly_c, Jul 2026
Overpriced for what they offer. If you want to interact with the flamingos, you have to rent a cabana, and by the time we got there, they were already sold out. The food wasn’t good, and the drinks were just okay. Other than that, you’re basically paying for the water slides. I booked this because I was under the impression that everything was included in the price. I did read the information beforehand, but it wasn’t as clear as I expected. I ended up spending $146 just to lay on the beach, which definitely wasn’t worth it. I’d say this place is okay if you’re visiting with kids, but if you’re looking for a better overall experience, I’d recommend checking out other options like Renaissance Island instead.

    Great day!

Great day! All inclusive food and drinks. We didn’t end up getting the add ons to feed the flamingos but it was totally worth it for our first full day in Aruba. Good atmosphere for kids.

    Best experience!

    Melissa_C, Jul 2026
Tha flamingos were incredible!. The whole vibe was refreshing . My son enjoyed the aqua play and the bounce houses

    Not worth the money

    Anna_R, Jul 2026
I am writing to share feedback regarding our recent visit. While our private cabana experience was enjoyable, the rest of the trip fell short of expectations. On the positive side, the cabana was comfortable, the complimentary champagne was a nice touch, and we loved the direct sea access and flamingo interactions. However, several major issues impacted our day. The food quality was poor for the price, and the self-serve buffet lacked adequate hand-washing or sanitizing stations. Additionally, the staff generally lacked hospitality, the mixed drinks were incredibly weak, and the provided snorkel gear was outdated and uncomfortable. A power outage during our visit also caused all drink and utility services to come to a standstill. The wildlife and cabana amenities were the only saving graces of our four-hour stay. I hope you will address these service, hygiene, and equipment issues for future guests.

    Fun day!

    Mary_D, Jun 2026
This was a fun experience for me. I was able to snorkel and ride the banana boat! We had burgers, chicken tenders, beer and mixed drinks which were good. The lounge chairs were very close to each other as we were unable to sit in the premier section. The beach is small and very rocky. You definitely need water shoes to walk in the water. We saw the flamingos and turtles too. It was fun. We left early after three hours, which was not a problem. The boat took us back and we caught a cab.

Not as nice as I thought

    Eva_M, Jun 2026
The chair areas are too crowded. You are literally on top on the person next to you. The water is very rock and can be dangerous. The description did not mention all the rocks on the beach. No towels are provided . Not really worth going. I was a bit disappointed The only nice thing was the food and drink availability.

    Cheryl_N, Jun 2026
It's a nice day trip. Nothing is spectacular but it's nice. Except the beach, it is very rocky. The beach at our hotel was much better. The one thing you should know is they send your pickup time the morning of which made us late. We thought we were being picked up at 10 and they switched at 8:30 am to 925 am

Good to bring your own snorkeling so u dont have to share. If it's first time and want to be close to the falimingo upgrade to the package.

    Robbery In Broad Daylight

    Kevin_R, Jun 2026
De Palm Island was a let down. As soon as we got off the bus, we were greeted with signs posted saying the water slides were down and they only found out that morning so they were able to let anyone know. The flamingo cove wasn’t worth paying extra for, the flamingos were loud and the kids in the cove were terrorizing them as their parents just watched. We did get two bottles of prosecco though. Coral cove wasn’t worth paying extra either as it’s basically the same view you get with general admission, but you sectioned off with numbered chairs and the drink station is close by. There also were flamingos in Coral cove as well. Pro tip, if you want to do any of the activities that are actually operating, you need to sign up as soon as you get to the island. If not you’ll experience what we didn’t and get told everything is booked up. So in a nut shell, we paid over $900 for three people to do what we could’ve done at our resort with better food selection. Oh and the water isn’t even deep enough to swim and there are stones covering the ocean floor so it would be best to wear water shoes.

    MELISSA_B, Jun 2026
As a solo traveler, it was alright. As it’s a small island, theres not much to do. Food was ok, not really the best. Totally would recommend for family and kids. Got picked up from the hotel, and drop off to dock, and its a 2-3 min boat ride to the island, fast and easy.

    Don’t go to DePalm Island

    Gerald_R, Jun 2026
The water slide was not working, the beach was very rocky and hard to access. The snorkeling was terrible as you are confined to a small area. We went for the slide and only found out it was closed when we got there. No refund was offered. We left early as this was not what we expected- it seems to be a water park for young kids!

    Great time at Palm

    Kenneth_J, Jun 2026
We were very happy with this excursion. There was more than enough for our two sons to do (water slides, water obstacle course, kids pool, even a basketball goal) and the area is amazing, just gorgeous with some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen. Make sure you have water shoes though as the terrain leading to the water can be a bit rough. The staff were super friendly and the banana boat ride was bumpy but fun. Also, the food was pretty straight forward (burgers, chicken tenders, taco bar) but not bad and it is unlimited. And the alcohol was also included with drinks that were tasty and not at all watered down. In all, this was a great experience and even though a little expensive, I would definitely recommend.

    Worth it 👌🏾

    Renee_J, Jun 2026
This is experience was fun. The banana boat ride definitely is a must...as long as you're not afraid to fall in!
