Overview

Drive an off–road ATV in Albufeira on this thrilling tour and have a blast while you’re doing it. Simply meet your group at the departure spot, put on your helmet, and get on your ATV. Explore the area around Paderne Castle, relax a bit as you visit the castle, then continue on your ride, which lasts for around 1.5 hours so can easily fit into busy schedules.

Absolutely brilliant. Guides were amazing, checking we were ok. Lovely friendly and welcoming. You do get very dusty, from head to toe. Take a gaiter to cover your mouth and nose from the dust.

This tour combines both on and off road quad biking where we reached speeds of up to 60km p/h. What started as a positive experience ended badly for us as one bike in our group suffered a puncture on a gravel path which resulted in the bike veering sideways and off the path. The passenger was flung off the back of the bike and the driver got a nasty injury to both wrists, hands, and shoulder. There was no medical attention provided at the event. Then, when we returned to base camp, we were taken to the garage where they told us the issue was as a result of negligent driving and wrote up a bill for €750, claiming damage to various parts of the vehicle (despite no visible signs of damage from this event and no vehicle damage checks prior to the drive). They encouraged us to pay this then claim on insurance when we returned to the UK, and if we didn’t pay they would get their lawyers involved. There was back and forth for an hour until the driver decided to pay to avoid any hassle despite no evidence of negligent driving! It seemed to me that this is a trick used to get more money. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone - despite some friendly staff.

This is an amazing activity to do in Albufeira and definitely worth the price if you doing 2 people per quad. This is proper off roading through dirt tracks. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip

Quite old quad, not really any view points, nothing really exciting. Not suggested for two person. But was still an experience to go on portugal roads in quads!

Went with a couple of friends and had a great time. It was the right amount of time on the ATVs but the ATVs we used were a little older and some in the group had some problems, but nothing to impact the overall good time.

Amazing trip. Two of my friends and I had absolutely no experience but we had the best time! Apart from the extreme heat (which comes with being in Albufeira), it was truly amazing. We saw amazing views and rode in the streets, dirt, rocks, sand, etc with wind flowing through us. If you have experience or no experience this is the best quad trip I’ve been on!! Just remember not to wear clothes you like because you will end up sandy!

Amazing experience, very nice Tour Guide, we drove for atleast 1 Hour and 30mins + had breaks and stopped at a castle and learned about it’s history in Portugal.

Mention spéciale pour le guide David qui était très sympathique. En revanche, l’excursion est moyenne paysage désertique, rien de spécial, à voir, le château est plutôt en ruine. De plus, c’est étouffant en été ! Un peu déçus, vu le tarif.
