Winter is the perfect time to experience the Alaskan tradition of dog sledding. During this small-group experience, learn to mush with a professional musher. Then zip through the snowy birch forests with a sled dog team and feel the cold wind in your hair. Afterward, warm up with the puppies and learn what it takes for them to become champions.

1/2 hour before tour we meet our guests at the Latitude 62 Restaurant in Talkeetna Alaska at that point you have the decision of riding in our shuttle van or following the shuttle van to the kennel.

Do not book with Viator. Go directly to the tour company Viator is booking through. Do not use a third party like Viator to book. Their customer service will not help, Viator's or the tour company, if you book through Viator.

Our guide Holly was excellent, she was so knowledgeable. The other mushers were awesome! This was such a great experience, I'll never forget it, and course all the dogs so special!!

We had a wonderful time on our tour! The dogs are all super sweet and very very well taken care of. You can tell they love running and pulling sleds! Being able to mush on a sled with Iditarod winners is a once in a lifetime experience! Ben and Issac were awesome and taught us so much about the sport!
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure ✨️

The most memorable was being able to “drive” my own sled and seeing the joy in my grandchildren. The guides were knowledgeable and patient. The puppies were a bonus!

This is a very fun experience and you learn a lot about the dogs and the sport. The guides obviously love their work almost as much as the dogs. Highly recommend it.
