Directions: K2 Aviation is located in the town of Talkeetna at the Talkeetna State Airport. We are about 3 hours north of Anchorage and about 4 hours south of Denali National Park. The Talkeetna exit is located at mile marker 98 on the Parks Highway (Alaska Route 3).

Check in at Talkeetna State Airport 30 minutes before your 1.5-hour flight and board your plane seating a max of six passengers. Get out your camera as your pilot takes you over Denali Mountain, formerly Mt. McKinley. This flight experience allows you to see all sides of the great mountain: north, south, east, and west.

Weather and clouds were almost perfect so that’s a big part of it. Our pilot/guide was great, wonderful personality, obviously loved what he does and made it great for all of us. I didn’t realize how close we would get to the mountains and down into the areas between mountainsides. It was a smooth ride and landing on the glacier was the icing on the cake. Probably the best tour we’ve ever taken and we’ve taken a lot. Great for all ages as it wasn’t scary in any way for even kids. We were hesitant to spend that much on an excursion at first but it came highly recommended so we took a chance. Would do it again every time.

It was a rainy day so glacier landings were canceled. Still an awesome trip flying in the mountains and over the glaciers. Pilot and aircraft were great.

Due to weather we were given the option of cancelling with full refund or taking a lesser flight. We opted to cancel without a problem and we are waiting for the 100% refund.

Highly recommend. Although we didn’t get to fly to Denali due to weather the Flying tour over the Talkeetna was amazing. The views were breathtaking. Our pilot did a great job even though there was a lot of turbulence. Would fly with K2 Aviation again.

We had the absolute best experience on this adventure! We were so fortunate to have incredible weather, see all of Denali mountain and to land on the glacier. We were both moved by the grandeur and magnificence of the scenery. The pilot was very capable and explained a lot about what we were flying over and seeing along the way. 10 out of 10 experience! We haven't stopped talking about this flight.

Landed on a glacier and was riding in the copilot seat. Airtime probably around an hour and about 15 to 20 minutes on the glacier. Very please with the experience and would highly recommend to anyone that does not have a fear of flying.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. All stages were handled professionally with a focus on safety- from our pre arranged hotel pick up through the preflight instructions to the landing on the Pika glacier and return to the airstrip. I would highly recommend this Tour. We were so fortunate to have two weeks of awesome weather in Alaska and this evening tour was no exception! Thank You K-2 Aviation for an experience I will remember for the rest of my life!

Liked the tour and the landing on a Glacier was fantastic. But i feel like the Pilot rushed things. He was running a little late to begin the tour and we were not able to do the grand danali. We were offered the reduced flight. Seeing the south side only. But I am glad I was able to see what i did. The pilot also got back a little early.

Bom .dia responsabeis pela Viatotr. Compramos este passeio que foi cancelado pelo condições climáticas. Entendemos a situação mas não ficamos nada satisfeito com o tratamento. Simplesmente foi comunicado depois que chegamos a sede do K2 e não nos foi dado nenhuma opção para agendamento deste passeio outro dia. Tour moins long et donc moins cher.
