Uncle D is by far the best tour guide we ever had, super informative and he's a native Hawaiian so he knows where the good deals are and the best views, this tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting, when we come back we'll join another tour with Fil Am travels again, amazing hospitality! I really enjoyed this tour around Oahu. I would definitely recommend to others who are on a time crunch and would like to make the most out of their stay. Although I only stayed in Oahu for three days this trip allowed me to enjoy the beautiful view of the island. For only $40, this tour was very informative and interactive. Each stop varied from 30 minutes to an hour, offering free unique sightings of the various parts of the island.
Cons:
• Didn’t participate in the snorkeling due to the water being brown, not as clear as surrounding beaches but was able to see sea turtles.
• Time crunch, a bit rushed

The tour is a good value for the money. A nice tour around the island with a lot of information and not having to deal with driving. I would sit on the right side of the bus if you want to take pictures while driving. Bring cash for the stops. Most places charge a cc fee. The snorkel spot is different than what was listed. I did not snorkel but the area didnt seem too great and there really wasn’t anyone else snorkeling here. Those that did snorkel did see a couple of sea turtles. No one was complaining so maybe it wasn’t too bad

First time booking this tour and it did not disappoint. Marvy aka Marvelous was a great tour guide. He made it fun, had a great sense of humor. We stopped through various spots around and also tried famous huli huli chicken. This tour was definitely worth it. 🌺🐢🌊✨

“Uncle D” (Darren) was a wonderful tour guide and driver. He explained a lot of what we were visiting as well as local culture and history.
We highly recommend this tour if you wish to see and learn about Oahu.

This is nothing like what it seems. 8 hour tour and the snorkeling isn’t even a guided experience. Just dirty snorkel materials from the back of a bus in the dirtiest water I’ve ever seen. Would definitely not do this again

unbeatable! the driver made this tour an experience! To have a true local native show and explain is priceless.
The snorkeling didn't happen due to weather. And the bus broke down, still no regrets would definitely recommend!

It’s a full day and lots of quick stops… but it would be especially helpful if you do this tour in the beginning of your trip so you know where to visit later.

The tour was very informative. We learned a lot about Hawaiian culture and way of living. The scenery along the way was spectacular. Our driver explained what we were seeing as we went along. He made it all very interesting and we learned a lot. He also answered any questions people had along the way. Thanks very much for a wonderful day Uncle D.

Nice chill tour. I like it when tour guide chatters about everything around. Gives details and fyi info all the time. One could rent a car and do same tour but you couldn’t just sit back and listen to guide nor watch the scenery because you’d always be checking your google maps. The retail stops were more than enough always trying to get your last dollar but nobody was pushy. I wish there was more info at the macadamia nuts place like how they grow and harvest info. It was all about buying the nuts which you can get for a bit less at the ABC and Target stores all over Honolulu. The ocean for snorkeling was murky and could not see down into water. Turtles were floating around though close to shore so you could see them bobbing their heads and fins around. Also there were not near enough snorkel equipment for everyone. Probably 10-12 short, but like I said didnt matter as couldn’t see anyway. The dinner stop was mediocre only. Got the veggie dish and it was almost all rice and rice noodles with a “small”spattering of thin peppers and lettuce. A real let down for 20$. The sauce helped a lot. They promoted the hula hula chicken which may have been a better choice, but I prefer vegetarian. The place was a food truck and I couldn’t believe how many people they ran through. We did stand in line for a bit but it was a fairly smooth running affair. Other busses and vans also stopping. Overall a nice to do thing for the day.

You will learn a lot about the Hawaiian culture from Darren. Please respect him and the other travelers by not talking so much that no one can hear him. You have the opportunity to eat a lot on this tour. The pineapple from Uncle Ds cousin is heavenly. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen. A portable fan would be nice to have as well since the bus can get warm. The bathrooms along the way are public and not private, so keep that in mind. It's a long day and you're eating a lot. Didn't get to snorkel because the water at turtle Bay is still not clear due to flooding a few months ago. It will take time to filter out. I thought it was a great price for all the sites and information. Uncle D is a sweat native and full of knowledge. Highly recommend 🤙🏻

This tour exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. The island was absolutely beautiful, and there’s no way we could have discovered all of the incredible places we visited on our own in just one day.
Our driver and tour guide, Uncle “D,” was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights about the island’s history, culture, and native traditions. He also took the time to answer everyone’s questions and made sure every guest felt welcome and well cared for throughout the day.
My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the best of the island while learning from an outstanding guide.

The tour was ok. Two areas that need improvement, the bus and the lack of toilet facilities. The buses ac was not working properly and we were all extremely hot and uncomfortable. Any tour that is 8 plus hours should either have a toilet on the bus or have lots of access to one. We spent an hour and a half at a beach with no toilet and no where to change.

It’s a long day a lot of walking so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. The only bad thing were where we ended up swimming and snorkeling. The water was so brown and ugly. You could not even see your feet. Did see some turtle swimming though. After seeing all the beautiful water on the way there and the crystal clearness of it all we were excited about getting in it, but we end up getting in dirty brown water! Very disappointing.

This tour was very much FUN! Our driver Margie aka Marvelous made the tour 10x better! Learned more about O’ahu 🌺 and also tried various treats and some delicious Huli huli chicken 🐔 saw turtles which was fun up close! 🐢🙌🏽 great tour overall!
