This is such a unique, indescribable experience. Meow Wolf is an absolute feast for the senses, with something new to look at everywhere you look, around every corner and behind every door. My husband and kids and I loved it. This is a must see and fun for everyone of all ages.

Confused by their concepts

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ My family and I visited Meow Wolf, and while we can appreciate the creativity and effort that went into it, we just didn’t understand the concept or the storyline. It felt very random and confusing, so it was hard for us to connect with the experience. That said, I think younger kids would probably have a lot of fun exploring all the colorful rooms, hidden passages, and interactive elements. If you’re looking for a place to let kids wander and play, it’s worth checking out. It just wasn’t our style, and we left feeling more confused than entertained.

Overpriced and Underwhelming

I would encourage people to do a little more research about the convergence station. I found the description on both the website and Viator to be extremely ambiguous and lacking. We were not entirely sure what to expect, but it wasn't this! $40+ per person felt like a rip-off. They do not make it entirely clear ahead of time, but to really enjoy the experience, you have to buy the Qcard and use that. Otherwise you're walking around in someone's fever dream with no idea of what's going on and no information to help you understand it. A few other things to note: 1. Parking is $15 and there is no way around it. No other public parking facilities are readily available. 2. There is no map or info book, nor employees around the facility to answer questions or explain anything to you. 3. You must have a Qcard to interact with exhibits. Without one you are just staring at onscure exhibits. At no point were we told you needed a card to experience Meow Wolf. 4. I even asked two staff people before we began if we needed anything special for the experience. They didn't even mention needing the card, they just told us to walk around and ask questions. 5. I'm sure it would have been more enjoyable and lasted longer with the card, but sadly we were done in less than an hour and very disappointed. 6. My sons and I joked that you would probably need to be HIGH to enjoy it as it was intended. Ironically, two different groups were having a similar discussion and figured one gummy would do the trick. We left disappointed and regretted spending our experience money on Meow Wolf.

Over-hyped

Super underwhemeled with the experience and it was way over-hyped. Thought there would be more interactive things to do. As fellow artist wanted to appericate the creativity but alot of things didn't feel as though it was done by heart.

This is an amazing experience with so much to see and explore. The colors, the images, the way spaces always lead you into new areas to explore is just mind-boggling. Be prepared to spend a lot of time discovering an awesome place!

This place is incredibly unique and engaging! The magical alien forest area was the most fun for us! It was like being transported to another planet all of the creatures and different pathways were radical! We were there for 4 hours and could’ve easily spent more time exploring.

Very disturbing and not what I expected. Very dark and trippy art but definitely an experience. I don’t know if I’d come back. Not worth the money and not enough space to view everything.

Must get card in lobby

There are many layers to this place. A light experience of just the set up, or in deep solving all the puzzles. I came upon two people deep into the puzzles and was told you needed to buy the card in the lobby. The card let's you activate and interact with the puzzles. And you can't go back to the lobby once you take the elevator. I was a little disappointed I didn't know about this as my experience could have been better. I'd go back again to try.
