It is a nice experience if you are interested in facts.
It is a bit hard to follow the language if you are not native speaker
This was an excellent tour. The trolley stopped in front of several places of importance from that day. Lots of information.
Although the online description advertises the trolly as air conditioned, we were welcomed with an apology after being seated and were informed the air condition had decided to stop working. That was a bit of a disappointment considering it was 80* out and only a select few windows were open on the trolly.
While the pre-recorded information was very informative, we do enjoy the live information and feel that makes the experience more personal.
Lisa was so great and knowledgeable. She was a hoot and we appreciated all the extra info she gave in addition to the audio. We also enjoyed the old clips that were included.
The trolley that was scheduled to arrive at 3 pm didn’t show up. I was there 30 minutes early. No contact from anyone
Response from Host, Oct 2026
The trolley arrived at 2:38 and departed again at 3:05pm. We waited an extra 5 minutes for you to show up. We turned other customers away that wanted to purchase your seats. I suspect you were waiting in the wrong location. The trolley always departs from the corner of Elm St & Houston st.
Tour was cancelled because of bad weather, but no communication from the company and unable to get a response to get a refund, no response to emails, very poor.

Yes we had terrible weather. Torrential rain with lightning. We issued refunds immediately and Viator is your communication since you booked through Trip Advisor. We do not receive your emails, Viator does.
My aunt and I had an amazing time during this tour, and we learned a lot. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable
The driver, Lisa was awesome! The recordings we loved too! When the gunshot went off by the white X in the road, we got emotional.
We drove here from Green Bay, Wi. We ordered tickets online for a time we should have made it there but we didn’t. We were stuck in a very bad accident for an hour and a half about 30 miles north of Dallas. There’s road construction all through that area. There is no room for error going through this. We saw that a semi hit the cement barrier which moved the barrier but was on the other side of the road we were on. A little ways away we saw a large white SUV stuck in between a couple of the barriers. We thought there was another vehicle involved but not sure. So both sides of interstate 35 were at a stop.
I called the support office to explain why we couldn’t make that time but asked if we switch to the next time. The operator was trying to call someone to see if it’s a possibility. No one answered her call. But suggested we go to the meeting place to find out about switching times. The operator did send out an email when the call wasn’t answered. And I would get a call back. I didn’t get a call back. She said it’s not guaranteed, which we knew. We got to the tour bus meeting place and talked to the very kind young man that was selling the tour. I explained everything and he said we could change the time. We knew if the tour was fully booked they couldn’t change the time (and that was the last time for the day)
So….. we got on the tour and it is sooooo worth it. Thank you JFK trolley tours!!!!
Lisa was our driver/tour guide and she was enthusiastic, friendly, informative & made sure we got the most out of our experience! Highly recommend the tour! Lisa also had some good suggestions for other things to do and see in the city.
The Trolley Tour was so authentic. Very interesting tour.
Went all around the importance historical sights
It was a fun time with our trolley driver, Lisa! It was an informative way to follow along with the events that happened during those few days and was a perfect compliment to the Dealey Plaza & Sixth Floor Museum!
DEALEY plaza easy to get to on DART to West End station. Trolley stop just a block over so easy to find. The Sixth floor Museum closed mon/tues so we only did the Trolley tour and walked by the jfk memorial (by Phillip Johnson is all I learned about it), really thats all there is to do & see ... other than the basic geography of the area & X's on street.
Fantastic audio recording of events leading up to 11/22/63. Tour driver gave little known details. Very informative
My family enjoyed the educational part of the trip we were enlightened on things we didn’t know concerning JFK We did have two concerns: unable to hear Lisa clearly and the trolley got very hot it was a heat advisory overall the trip is educational but would enjoy much better if ride was cooler
Response from Host, Sept 2026
The temp outside the trolley was 113 degrees, inside 80. After a few minutes inside you will start to feel warm.
It is informative however trying to hear the audio over the beer loud AC system was difficult
Overall, we did learn some things
The audio on the trolly needs serious upgrading. Excellent tour and tour guide.
The air didn’t have to run the whole time and if so, needs a quieter system. Fantastic tour!
Very informative when you could understand what was being said over the speakers. A/C was not effective in 98 degree heat and that was the main reason we chose the trolley tour.
Learned a LOT! The tour covered a lot of ground and information about JFK and a ton about Lee Harvey Oswald.
The sound system I. The trolley is horrible!! Also, the air conditioner in the trolley is sooo loud u could not hear in the back!! The tour guide’s speaker system was worse than the sound system!!
It was only $22. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it a one star the trolley was very uncomfortable. That wooden seats were almost unbearable. The timing of the illustrations were off. They kept pausing replaying, trying to keep up blank traffic or no traffic or whatever not a good tour maybe OK for 22 bucks it went by the places so you know that’s why I give it. A three star is because the price was very inexpensive compared to some of the other options.
Good tour with a good guide and excellent narrative. Trolley is air conditioned. Interesting to see actual sights like Oswald home, Tippitt encounter site, theater capture site and Ruby encounter site. Guide also gave tremendous recommendation for Terry Black BBQ.
Great narrative and interesting stops. Driver was great. Tour was well planned. Easy to find tour stop
Fantastic way to learn history! And air conditioned trolly. Great tour. Lisa our guide was great too.
Very informational but do not go on a hot day. The Air Conditioning barely works and you will roast.
No air in trolley was so hot not enjoyable said online air-conditioned trolley if it was i didn't feel it was ready to get off not even half way through
Amazing! Great tour - highly recommended!
It’s a recording - but better so everyone always gets the same info and experience
This tour was nice with friendly guide that provided many details about the events from the time and included real audio of communications.
If you have any interest in learning more about the JFK assassination or even the town history, I recommend this tour. Sure, you can see the grassy knoll and 6th floor window from the street, but the tour takes you all the way to Lee Harvey Oswald’s house and tracks his path that day. Bonus points if you get Lisa as your tour guide, she was very kind and thoughtful. Not only that, but she added extra details to the tour that were super interesting.
Was informative despite not being able to hear the guide clearly due to the traffic outside. Had some decent stops too
It was a great tour and Lisa was a fantastic guide.
Very informative and factual.
Highly recommend!!
