Top Dallas Chocolate Tours

Forget the candy aisle. At a lively Dallas brewery, you’ll learn how to turn chocolate, cream and a few craveable toppings into handmade truffles that look almost too good to eat. You’ll begin by combining semi-sweet chocolate, heavy cream, butter and vanilla extract to create a smooth, velvety ganache, then learn how chilling affects texture and makes shaping easier. Next, you’ll portion and roll the ganache into individual chocolate truffles, practicing simple techniques for consistent shapes and a clean finish. Customize each one with cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, crushed cookies and chopped pecans or almonds, adding color, crunch and plenty of personality. No advanced skills required, just a willingness to get a little chocolate on your hands. Between the brewery atmosphere, hands-on creativity and inevitable taste-testing, you’ll leave with sweet new skills and an assortment of truffles ready for your next celebration, homemade gift or late-night chocolate emergency.

Chocolate gets a serious upgrade in this hands-on class. You’ll start from scratch by combining semi-sweet chocolate, heavy cream, butter and vanilla extract into a rich, silky ganache. After chilling the mixture, you’ll learn how to roll and shape it into neat truffles before giving each one its own finishing touch with cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, crushed cookies or chopped pecans and almonds. Chef Dee’s beginner-friendly approach makes the techniques easy to follow, whether you’re already comfortable in the kitchen or still figuring out which way the whisk goes. You’ll spend two relaxed hours making, tasting and learning, then leave with a beautiful assortment of handcrafted chocolate truffles. Store-bought chocolates are officially on notice.
